the15thwiseone 1 Posted October 19, 2010 At the beggining when you start off as aqua she has less hp than all the characters but at the end...she has more then ven. I thought this was odd: (i had to restart Aqua's story to collect the first 4 chests with her, and this is when i noticed..) After you fight the sphears each person gets a "maximum hp increase" she gets the same increase as everyone else from their base hp however...after it increases and when you enter the next world...the increase is GONE. So you are back to that miserable starting hp which is something....oh...20 less than the other characters. And then you suffer throughout the rest of the game. But playing as aqua gets you super prepaired for the more difficult b oss fights do you not agree?
Keyblader 325 Posted October 19, 2010 Not really a glitch...
the15thwiseone 1 Posted October 19, 2010 How is it not a glitch? she lacks the normal +20 hp that everyone has at the start? or are you saying its intended: it seems a-lot of people are frustraited with Aqua at the start, and i admit i was too. I had to level 10+ levels to continue on in the story after the starting area, but after that it kinda leveled itself out.

hatok 6,413 Posted October 19, 2010 Aqua is the Mage. She has low HP because she's supposed to be kept in the back row.

She is not the mage: she had a larger HP bar right after the fight with the sphears: then lost that hp to who knows what. she has more HP then Ven at the end of the game. Rose Riku 39 Posted October 21, 2010 Her keyblade had I think one lower strength than Ven and Terra. Her magic was higher though, I believe. I remember I died a LOT more as her than Ven or Terra.

She has much lower natural strength though. But I never had much trouble with her because I use Commands and Shotlocks a lot

Aqua is not a melee combatant, she professes in staying far away from her foes and pelting them with spells, not charging the front line, thats why she has less HP. Try using spells like fire, blizzard, thunder, etc. You'll notice the difference...

Macroxen 32 Posted October 22, 2010 O_O* this is interesting. i never realized that. but i agree, she has less then ven but has more and at the end she has more than ven. >_> that just doesnt make sense in my opinion. but also i agree with RoxSoxKH about using more spells than basic combat.
