GothicSlenderman 173 Posted December 20, 2017 (edited) While looking up info on the movie "Brave Little Toaster" for a video I wanted to do I found some interesting information. The movie was done by a small company called Hyperion Pictures who also made Rover Dangerfield, Itsy Bitsy Spider & The Adventures of Tom Thumb & Thumbelina. Lesser known animated films. I thought for sure the company went out of business considering it hasn't made a film since 2004. But it seems like they're still around. What was most interesting is that I recently found out that Hyperion is owned by the Walt Disney Company. So, why is it that Disney never mentions anything from Hyperion? They have never done anything with their characters or even featured them at something like Disneyland (from what I know) I'm very curious. Well, to put a good example, let's place the Hunchback Of Notre Dame. It's a Disney Animated Classic from the Renaissance Era of Disney films, and yet even though it was in that lineup, the film is rarely talked about in the mainstream public eye. For many, it's a film that no one really talks about, and yet it's one of Disney's most dark and ambitious films to date! Consider the thing with Hyperion in a similar light. These films are lesser known, and Disney doesn't give em too much attention. 1 GothicSlenderman reacted to this
Dustin Lübbers 933 Posted December 21, 2017 Oh my god itsy bitsy spider I recently had to think about that show it wasnt much on the air if I remember correctly I think I ever saw a single episode. Also what The Transcendent Key said,I also remember mickey mouse clubhouse the modern version were all the villians of disney could be seen Frollo was strangely nowhere to be found. There are probably certain decision processes that we dont know about my guess is that Frollo is just a bit too real of a villian. 1 GothicSlenderman reacted to this
