Iamkingdomhearts1000 1,170 Posted October 27, 2017 (edited) A fight em up developed by Capcom featuring Characters from both DC and Marvel Comics, basically Marvel vs. Capcom but instead of Capcom Characters, DC Characters are featured, the game-play is based on both Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, although the story-line is more based on the dark elements featured in both Injustice: Gods Among Us and Injustice 2. The story of COMICS: DC X MARVEL is where the two separate yet individual universes of both DC and Marvel come into contact with one another when Darkseid's Anti-Life Equation merges with the Six Infinity Stones, causing a merger between the two universes, this occurs just when Superman is about to pummel Darkseid and the Infinite Six react to this in their own universe just when Thanos was about to use their power to crush both the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, upon the two universes meeting with one another, namely Darkseid meets with Thanos in a joined fusion of their two respective bases, Darkseid's Palace on Apokolips and Thanos' Citadel in Space, the two warmongering gods decide to host a contest that they both personally call the "Tournament of Equals" and you see, by hosting this so called tournament will they have the chance to take on the other's respective foes from their respective universe and see what they are made of, to see if they truly have the guts to take on the combined might of both Darkseid and Thanos together, joined in alliance, the two aren't actually sided with one another but rather to ease one another's boredom and give themselves amusement, they wish to see which hero and/or villain has the very same similarities, as one another more or less, know what i mean? like both Tony Stark/Iron Man and Lex Luthor for a perfect example are each other's rival in this game, anyways, here is the Character Roster, ahem: DC/Marvel: 1-Lex Luthor/2-Iron Man. 3-Green Arrow/4-Hawkeye. 5-Brainiac/6-Ultron. 7-Atom/8-Ant-Man. 9-Karate Kid/10-Iron Fist. 11-Cheetah/12-Tigra. 13-Aquaman/14-Namor. 15-Amazo/16-Super-Skrull. 17-Wonder Woman/18-Thor. 19-Doctor Fate/20-Doctor Strange. 21-Batman/22-Black Panther. 23-Superman/24-Captain America. 25-Darkseid/26-Thanos. 27-Catwoman/28-Black Cat. 29-Deathstroke/30-Deadpool. 31-Orion/32-Gamora. 33-Static/34-Magneto. 35-Doomsday/36-Hulk. 37-Deadshot/38-Winter Soldier. 39-Joker/40-Green Goblin. 41-Red Hood/42-Punisher. 43-John Constantine/44-Ghost Rider. 45-Green Lantern/46-Mandarin. 47-Cyborg/48-Doctor Octopus. 49-Flash/50-Spider-Man. 51-Lobo/52-Wolverine. These are all of the Characters, please tell me what does everyone think of the rival match-ups? also please tell me who do you think should be a DLC rival match-up instead of the ones already named out since the DLC rival match-ups already named don't seem worth it to buy and are, as exciting, know what i mean? Spider-Man's rival should be either 1 of the Robins or Batman (both lost a Family member and that's what made them become what they are today). Hulk's rival should be Solomon Grundy, because both of them are muscular beings who adress to themselves in the third person. Black Manta would've been a better rival to Black Panther as both characters lost their father figure and now seek revenge. Quicksilver's rival should be the Flash, because...reasons and similarities. Cyborg's rival could be Deathlok: both of these characters have cybernetic parts in their bodies. Ghost Rider's rival could be Atomic Skull (just check his design and you'll see). Also, here are some more match-ups: Retaliators vs Avengers Doom Patrol vs X-Men Challengers of the Unknown vs Fantastic Four Suicide Squad vs Thunderbolts (both are supervillains teams that do "good" things) Ch'p (a Green Lantern character) vs Rocket Raccoon Doctor Polaris vs Magneto Black Canary vs Banshee Ergo The Living Planet vs Galactus Killer Croc vs Lizard Swamp Thing vs Man Thing Firestorm vs Human Torch Power Girl vs Captain Marvel Supergirl vs Miss Marvel Damian Wayne (Batman's son) vs Daken (Wolverine's son) Injustice League vs Dark Avengers Also, don't you think it would be much better if some characters could have more than 1 rival? For example: Ryu's rival in the game itself is Wolverine, but in the opening sequence, it changes to Nova. Like Wolverine's rival is Vergil in the OP but in game its Ryu.
