What on God's green Earth were they thinking?! I sent an inquiry to them thinking it was a mistake only to just learn it wasn't! I want to think it's a localization error, I really do. I hope it's pronounced like Brian, but I highly doubt it. I refuse to call him Brain.

I think its sort of how Luxu went and we thought it was Luxoo but it was actually (Lushoo). So I'm guessing the correct pronunciation is *Brine* or something similar.

Personally, I like Blaine better because I feel it suits him so far. The only reason why I could accept something like that would be if Square knows something we don't about him so that it absolutely has to be Brain. I just think it's not a fitting name for any character unless it's meant to be some sort of nickname or code name or something similar.

 

And if they mess up Lauriam in a way that's not understandable, then we know they just don't think when they make those decisions.

I am going to say it: I like the name Blaine better. If Brain was a nickname for him being the smarts of the group, that's one thing. But if his name is ACTUALLY Brain, then I am just going to continue to implode. Because it is seriously the dumbest thing I have ever seen in the KH series. Yeah, I said it. I can deal with the retcons of the story, I can deal with the weird connections added, I can deal with the confusions. But this ridiculous notion I will not! LOL

I like Blaine better, but we'll all get over it. It was the same thing with Ephermer, so it's meh. Really won't matter when they give us these plot twists that they won't care about their names, unless....their names are the plot twist for the plot... Just got to wait and see.
