The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted September 18, 2017 Hey there everyone, how's it going!? So then, as the title says, J.J Abrams, the man who brought back the Star Wars franchise with The Force Awakens back in 2015, is coming back to a galaxy far, far away to direct the final installment in the Sequel Trilogy! This comes after Collin Trevorrow being fired from directing the film, as apparently he was being a bit of a problem and the situation between him and Kathleen Kennedy from Lucasfilms was becoming unmanageable! So J.J will come back to end the trilogy that he started! I think this is pretty reassuring, considering just how awesome The Force Awakens was! What do you all think? 2 Awesome Sauce and !4misettie reacted to this

I think he'll be a good choice for episode 9. I know a lot of people complained that ep 7 was just a redone version of ep 4 but I think in this case it will be different. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
Awesome Sauce 634 Posted September 18, 2017 I'm not sure about this choice. I like most of what he did with TFA, but I reeeeally don't want for the finale of the ST to just be ROTJ 2.0. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
WakelessDream 2,278 Posted September 18, 2017 The Force Awakens was a little too similar to A New Hope for my taste, so I'm not sure how to feel about this, that's not to say it was a bad movie, I still enjoyed it. I guess it's fitting that he gets to finish what he started, and hopefully this gives him the opportunity to improve upon the criticisms he received for TFA. I want him to do well, and I'll probably still enjoy the movie nevertheless. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

Yeah, I'm sure that Abrams will know how to handle this trilogy ender, and I'm sure he'll do right by all Star Wars fans! I'm not sure about this choice. I'm sure we'll get a solid conclusion to the Sequel Trilogy, as I have faith Abrams will definitely deliver for us! Haha, well, given what we've already got, and with The Last Jedi coming along, I'm sure that Abrams will view things in a different light, and that Episode IX will be a proper sendoff for the characters of the Sequel Trilogy! 2 WakelessDream and !4misettie reacted to this
