Plot: It's been 30 years since the Symbol of Peace, the hero Deku, defeated the legendary All for One. In this time of peace, only minor crimes currently exist in this world, but the world isn't quite as peacefull as it may seem. While only minor crimes are occuring, the rate at which they are acurring is steadily increasing. With a need for brand new heroes, there's only one place to look, U.A. Highschool. Each and every one of you has a reason for attending U.A. To become the hero you always dreamed of, to learn how to help those in need or perhaps for reasons more personal to yourself, there's room for everyone. With tensions rising and rumours of a new League of Villains scurting around in the shadows, how will you change the world?

Welcome to My Hero Academia Cataclysm, my first roleplay since returning in over a year. Though I may not have RPed on this site in a while, I'm very much looking forward to creating a new story with old and new faces. We will be beginning our journey through our first year of U.A. together in hopes of becoming the future heroes, discover the evil plot of the new villains that are threatening the city and uphold justice! *dramatic pose* The character sheet is below if you would like to sign up.

Rules

- Basic RP Rules mentioned in the already pinned RP rules threads

- No controlling other players characters without their permission

- No god modding/meta-gaming. Just because you as a person might learn or discover something does not mean that your character suddenly knows what it is as well.

- Only 2 characters per person. Any more than that and this will start getting out of hand.

- Not exactly a rule, but try to make your quirks interesting and not entirely combat based. There's more to being a hero than fighting.

- Let's try not to leave too many people behind if they're having a hard time trying to keep up.

- Try not to go too far into detail on blood and gore if you're planning on writing it.

- Keep it PG-13 on the Romance please.

- Let's all get along and have fun. Also this is my first RP since coming back, so go easy on me fellas.

Name: Lucas Buki

Quirk: My Body is a Weapon! (Almost called it My Body is Ready! lol)

Lucas's quirk allows him to transform any part of his body into any kind of weapon he wishes, though he usually prefers to change his arms into blades or laser cannons. He can also put his arms or legs together to form a bigger version of the weapons, as well as adding his legs in if he's in the air, for a giant cannon. However, doing so shreds any clothing covering his arms or legs, as his clothes do not transform with him. The only exception to this, is his Hero outfit, seen in the appearance pic, as it's specially designed to transform with his body. He can utilize the blast from the cannons to launch himself in any direction he wishes. Firing the cannons, or any other ammo-consuming weapon takes up his own energy, depending on how big the cannon is. The bigger the cannon, the greater the firepower, but also greater energy consumption. Single arm/leg cannon/mouth cannon = 10 shots. Small shoulder cannons = 20 shots. Combining both arms into a single cannon/chest cannon = 5 shots. Combining both arms and both legs into a giant cannon = 1 shot. When he uses up all his energy, he will pass out from exhaustion. If he tries push on through the exhaustion and fire more times, he could kill himself. However, over time, with enough training, he can improve the energy consumption of his cannons, or his overall energy pool through stamina training. However, there is no downside to using his blades, or other melee weapons, other than his arms getting sore from prolonged use.

However, it wasn't any ordinary sneeze. As he sneezed, his mouth and nose turned into a laser cannon and blasted a hole through his desk, and about three floors of the school. Since then, the kids would tease him and call him Laser Face, and he hated it. Until one day, one of the kids was almost crushed by a falling rock, and Lucas blasted it away. From then on, he was called Laser Face not in a teasing, taunting way, but an endearing way. Later on he found out how his quirk actually worked, and the possibilities it held, and began training both his body, and practicing his quirk, so he could get into UA, the best academy for people wanting to become heroes, and even though he rarely turned his mouth into a cannon anymore, sticking to his arms mainly, the name Laser Face stuck with him throughout the rest of his school days, until he left for UA.

Okay, so here are both of my characters. I'll probably be posting the RP thread some time soon. 

 

 

Name: Shiki Kurogane

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Quirk: Zombie Physiology - This quirk makes Shiki's body the same as that of a zombie. In comparison to other humans, his body is more durable and capable of healing slightly faster than normal, but not too much to make a huge difference. Essentially being a walking corpse, his nerve endings don't work and therefore he's unable to feel pain.

Combat Type: Self taught martial art that revolves around striking and controlling pressure points

Appearance:

 

Personality: Stoic and often quiet. He's quite analytical of situations ansd tends to adress things logically without bringing emotion into the mix. He's often awkward when trying to express himself, often not knowing how to say things.

Bio: Shiki has always been quite odd since he counts as technically being dead. Being unable to feel things when he touches them, he's always felt quite isolated from the world. Shiki didn't think that much of becoming a hero at first, but watching the TV one day led him to encountering a world filled with people who were putting themselves on the line for the sake ofothers. Feeling inspired by these heroes, he too wanted to be recognised. Not as the weird kid without a pulse, but as a hero. With this in mind, Shiki set about training himself as best he could for the entrance exam for U.A. and managed to pass with an average result.

Other: He's not a big fan of warm weather as it tends to tire him out a little quicker than usual.

Combat Type: Taekwondo, Great Sword

Appearance:

 

Personality: Charismatic and confident. Interested in making himself the centre of attention and proving that he is among the strongest in the class. He tends to let his success go to his head more often than not and enjoys claiming that he's the best, but he's quite humble about admitting if someone else is strong or not.

Bio: Lars entered the school under recomendation from the school after having been scouted by several U.A. teachers. While they couldn't exactly discover what his Quirk does, there were signs that he was capable of great feats for a teenage boy and choosing not to enroll him at the school would be a waste. His parents were upstanding heroes that died saving civilians, leaving Lars alone for a few years. Now being granted the opportunity to become a hero, Lars vowed to make the world a better place in his own way.

Other: Ocasionally he mimics the way others act to see how they would react.

Qurik: Spittin’ Rhymes - How his sick beats work is that he can make almost anything happen as long as he can rap and rhyme his lines successfully. He has to be able to speak in order to make these things happen. And if he goes into the "Final Line" just from his first line, the action won't be as effective. The more lines successfully performed, the more effective the action will be.

Name: Ojex Gavin

Quirk: The Forge, The Forge is a creation type ability that allows Ojex to basically use his body like a walking blacksmiths forge allowing him to create armor and weapons from his own body. When using his ability Ojex needs to know the specific measurements of what he wants to make along with the elemental compounds needed for the specific metal he wises to forge the item out of because of this the only metals Ojex can forge using his body are Iron and Steel as he's been to lazy to remember the elemental make up of any other metals besides them. The Forge is a rather time consuming quirk to use if Ojex was to forge an Iron shield for example it would take about 10 seconds to form while a steel shield which would be much stronger defense would take 20 seconds due to the need for much thought into its make up. To work around this Ojex has focused on decreasing the amount of time it takes to form smaller objects such as knives and needles which he can currently create without any time delay. As Ojex improves on the use of his quirk he will be able to reduce the time it takes to forge larger objects and will be able to create much more complicatedly designed objects. The Forge is restricted to only creating objects out of metals and no other substances.

 

Combat Type: Ojex use's a lance as his main combat weapon when ever he has time in a fight to actually forge one also from all his time forging weapons he has grow so accustom to people handling his weapons that he has specialized his own style of hand to hand combat specifically for disarming and restraining people.

 

Appearance: 

 

Personality: Ojex can be a bit of a hot head but overall is a nice guy, once he becomes friends with someone you can bet that'll be a friendship for life. Ojex is an incredibly loyal person towards those he considers a friend, although if he starts to see someone as a rival he's more then likely going to spend half the time trying to start a fight with that person just for a laugh. He can be a bit lazy in regards to his studying but he's actually incredibly smart with a higher IQ then most he's just incredibly lazy when it comes to using it he's also a bit of a womanizer okay allot of womanizer but he's not a complete pervert at least.

 

Bio: Ojex doesn't like talking about his past very much in fact he doesn't like talking about his past. Ojex will never bring up his family himself and whenever anyone else tries to he tends to either try to change the subject or flat out walk away from a conversation over such matters I wonder why.

Psychic projection: Ezekiel's quirk allows him to project psychic energy in almost any form. He can use it as pure energy for empowering his attacks (or others). As well a creating small objects from it such as weapons. He has full control over this quirk.

 

Ezekiel can cast massive shockwaves of psychic energy with his power for example, or cast it as a form of pure energy in a projectile, there is a myriad of things he can do. As of now he utilized his psychic powers alongside his martial arts, empowering his punches and creating an armor of psychic energy around him to ensure a crushing offense and tough defense. He can also enhance his own speed with this. Alllowing him great mobility as well.

Utilizing his Dynamos (Appearance). He can use them as an extension of his quirk, controling them almost like he was using telekynesis. And emitting psychic energy from them in a variety of moves, like covering his arm with them in order to empower a punch even more. He can deal with a lot of situations. But use needs to be regulated, since overusage overloads his brain...and could kill him.

 

His quirk's energy is easily recognizable by its purple coloration and hue. The quick manifests in him by the glow in his eyes, which is a violet color, which gets brighter and brighter the more energy he is utilizing.

 

Combat Type: A weird mixture of Three martial arts: Krav Maga taking the biggest influence, Taekwondo and Muay Thai.

 

Ezekiel focuses on pure aggression and rushdown on his opponents. beating them to incapacitation if he has to. He had no hesitation or remorse for his foes, and will treat them all the same. He can quickly adapt to the situation around him if he must. And react accordingly should an enemy counter his fighting style.

 

Appearance:

 

In his Hero outfit/Combat gear:

Made of special fabric enhanced with his quirk in order to ensure full control over its attributes. He can effectively harden or soften the clothing for protection. The Dagger-like things floating behind his back are his battle equipment. More details in the quirk section.

 

Personality: Rude, Disrespectful and unlikable at first, he likes picking on others and being sarcastic. He is very quick to be angered, but also easily calmed, he is exceedingly cocky and needs to be brought down on occasion, which may anger him. However under the guise of an unlikable prick. Hides a caring man who just wants friends, but knows of no other way of showing it. Once someone earns his respect his personality to that person changes dramaticaly, he won't make fun of them or criticize them, in fact he will attempt to help and even encourage them. 

 

Ezekiel is the type of person you warm up to, and he warms up to you. he isn't friendly from the get go.

 

Bio: 

 

Ezekiel doesn't like speaking about his past, what is known to the authorities however is tha the always were a prodigy student and genius. Going well in almost all exams and showing off his prowess to all. But Ezekiel's personal life is known mostly only to him. And it was not pretty.

 

He was born into a poor family of weak and useless quirk parents, who could not provide for him. Not that it mattered since they never cared much for him anyway, mistreating and abusing him treating him like their slaves. He was constantly beaten. Once being wounded in his throat by his mother, Which's scar is hidden under the choker he wears at all times. 

 

His life took a turn for the better after he was adopted by a more wealthier family of quirk users, after his disowned him after fighting back with his newly acquired quirk. While he doesn't admit it, the time he spent with his adoptive family were the best days of his life. And he wishes to pay them back for all the trouble he brought them by becoming a hero to provide for them.

 

Nothing else is known, and further information needs to be acquired personaly.

 

Other: He wears a choker around his throat at all times, to hide a scar from his childhood.

 

He enjoys cooking, a lot. Especially baking.

 

He enjoys soap operas...a lot.

His quirk's energy is easily recognizable by its purple coloration and hue. The quick manifests in him by the glow in his eyes, which is a violet color, which gets brighter and brighter the more energy he is utilizing.

 

Combat Type: A weird mixture of Three martial arts: Krav Maga taking the biggest influence, Taekwondo and Muay Thai.

 

Ezekiel focuses on pure aggression and rushdown on his opponents. beating them to incapacitation if he has to. He had no hesitation or remorse for his foes, and will treat them all the same. He can quickly adapt to the situation around him if he must. And react accordingly should an enemy counter his fighting style.

Made of special fabric enhanced with his quirk in order to ensure full control over its attributes. He can effectively harden or soften the clothing for protection. The Dagger-like things floating behind his back are his battle equipment. More details in the quirk section.

 

Personality: Rude, Disrespectful and unlikable at first, he likes picking on others and being sarcastic. He is very quick to be angered, but also easily calmed, he is exceedingly cocky and needs to be brought down on occasion, which may anger him. However under the guise of an unlikable prick. Hides a caring man who just wants friends, but knows of no other way of showing it. Once someone earns his respect his personality to that person changes dramaticaly, he won't make fun of them or criticize them, in fact he will attempt to help and even encourage them. 

 

Ezekiel is the type of person you warm up to, and he warms up to you. he isn't friendly from the get go.

 

Bio: 

 

Ezekiel doesn't like speaking about his past, what is known to the authorities however is tha the always were a prodigy student and genius. Going well in almost all exams and showing off his prowess to all. But Ezekiel's personal life is known mostly only to him. And it was not pretty.

 

He was born into a poor family of weak and useless quirk parents, who could not provide for him. Not that it mattered since they never cared much for him anyway, mistreating and abusing him treating him like their slaves. He was constantly beaten. Once being wounded in his throat by his mother, Which's scar is hidden under the choker he wears at all times. 

 

His life took a turn for the better after he was adopted by a more wealthier family of quirk users, after his disowned him after fighting back with his newly acquired quirk. While he doesn't admit it, the time he spent with his adoptive family were the best days of his life. And he wishes to pay them back for all the trouble he brought them by becoming a hero to provide for them.

Other: He wears a choker around his throat at all times, to hide a scar from his childhood.

Personality: Resembles Katsuki Bakugou but is more cool headed and less hot blooded.

Bio: Ever since he was a kid, he has always looked up to both his idol and his role model Katsuki Bakugou and has always wanted to be just like him despite the objections of his parents, he attends U.A hoping to one day meet Bakugou and become a awesome hero just like him in Pyro's eyes.

Combat Type: (Ice blows through the cold air when it appears to form a Katana made entirely of ice and uses the weather slightly to cause some hailstones to appear and be hurled towards Ice's enemies from up above.).

Appearance: Resembles Vergil from Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening but with blue and black coloured hair and wearing a black coloured coat.

Personality: Cool, Calm, Calculating, Cruel, Strange, Secretive, Sarcastic, Mysterious, Manipulative and Wise beyond his years, Ice is a genius ahead of his time and at times likes to brag about how "special" he is.

Bio: The 1 year older brother of Pyroniishii, Iceichiishii or Ice, as he prefers to nickname himself, just like his younger brother prefers to be nicknamed Pyro, Ice used to attend U.A until suddenly, he dropped out of school and had decided to become a villain, his relationship with Pyro is exactly like that of both Ice and Fire respectively, Ice is, as cold, just, as Pyro is, as hot, the two share a fierce rivalry with one another and would like nothing more then to see each other be defeated by the other respectively, Ice's current whereabouts are unknown but is soon most likely to emerge, given the fact that his younger brother is now starting to attend U.A, the school that Ice once attended...

I'm actually going to throw in a second character the character base seems kind of one sided gender wise so I'll add in another girl to the story it'll help me improve my script writing for when it comes to female lines to so it's win win.

 

Name: Shizuka Blake

 

Age: 16

 

Gender: Female

 

Quirk: H2O, Shizuka's quirk is an elemental type quirk similar to the now retired Endeavor who could manipulate Fire but in Shizuka's case she can manipulate water. With her quirk she can freely control water within her immediate vicinity within a 500 meter radius. She can also emit water from her body in high quantities although doing this can have the negative effect of dehydrate Shizuka and can even result in her passing out as a means to get around this negative effect she made sure to include a sort of hydration system within her hero costume design. Along with being able to control water Shizuka can also control the temperature of said water this results in Shizuka along with being able to control water but also water vapors and ice although this side of her ability can't exactly be considered reliable just yet as her emotions can have a large effect on the temperature of the water she controls.

 

Combat Type: combat wise Shizuka isn't very skilled but she does have a higher level of stamina compared to most people and she wants to learn self defence to use in the event she is restricted in the use of her quirk.

 

Appearance: 

 

Personality: Shizuka can be consider a sweet but shy person who's emotions can sometimes get the better of her depending the the situation she never really gets mad but instead has a tendency to be easily embarrassed and made to be upset. Although if she see's someone do wrong she can become incredibly cold towards that person and that tends to be the scariest thing about her. Although she also has a tendency to grow close to others fast and can sometimes get involved in situations she is better off not involving herself with.

 

Bio: Shizuka has been a very open person all her life she lives with her parents her father who is a small time hero and her mother who is just an ordinary housewife up until getting into UA Shizuka lead a relatively normal life with no out standing circumstances wonder how much longer that'll hold up.

quick question what'll be the rule on use of characters like All Might should we consider them characters everyone has free use of just for helping with small details in the story or are you going to be handling all of that Oblivion
