AwesomeKHfan 1,250 Posted August 14, 2017 I hope the storyline will be 40 hours long and atleast 30 hours of side content but how long do you think KH3 will be to complete? I do hope not 30 hours to defeat the game 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

Azure Flame 670 Posted August 14, 2017 Well, they said 0.2 was essentially the length of one world, and that was about 4 hours long, so if we get at least 10 worlds, that would be about 40 hours, and that's not including the gummi ship segments or deaths and restarts. They could include more worlds too, which would make it longer, so I wanna say probably 50 hours? 1 Garrett929 reacted to this

Eh I defeated it in 2 hours without skipping cutscenes on hard mode

Well, no, 0.2 was supposed to be the length of one KH3 world but as time went on, even Nomura stated that it was much bigger than he had originally intended/thought. Meaning no, one KH3 world may not be as long as you thought.
Movies798 1,358 Posted August 14, 2017 Hopefully around 40 to 50 hours of story. However, I really hope Kingdom Hearts 3 will have longer post game than in Kingdom Hearts 2. 1 Garrett929 reacted to this
The Key of the Brain 49 Posted August 14, 2017 I take A LOT MORE to finish a KH game so I'll say my time for KH2 and what I expect to need for KH3... story KH2: 60/70 hours KH3: 75/85 hours 100% KH2: 100/115 hours KH3: 110/130 hours ...I take my time 'cause I finish a game only when I get bored of it... so I grind and do almost all the thing I can do before the end of the game, and I also fight just for fun
Sigrun 1,064 Posted August 14, 2017 I hope the main story is 60 hours and the whole game can push 100 hours. I hope the replay value is solid
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted August 16, 2017 Well, I am hoping that with all the time we've been waiting for this game, that it ends up having a lengthy story! So like many others here have stated, I'm hoping the game reaches the 50 hour mark in terms of story! That, and with the level grinding and side quests and secret bosses and whatnot, I'm sure the game could reach a total of maybe 75 to 80 hours total! So long as the game doesn't feel short, I'll be happy!
TheDvsBstd 1 Posted August 16, 2017 I'm guessing the story will be 35-50h + 15-20h endgame content incl. leveling and synthesis. The Kingdom Hearts games are all about replay value in my book so I don't want it to be too long either. Just make it long enough to tie all knots and have an engaging story that doesn't drag on (looking at you Persona 5) then it's all good to me. I'm looking for quality over quantity.
