Jingilator 922 Posted August 6, 2017 (edited) On their way to the Post Office, the five come across a woman named Rinoa, impressed with their demonstration against the Komories, who says she is looking for "someone" in Radiant Garden. Sora says that they're in a hurry at the moment, but that he, Donald and Goofy will take her to Radiant Garden afterwards. They both agree to meet in the First District. Pete tries to settle down the hostages, who fight back with brute force, especially Shiki. Seeing no use in trying, Pete gives up and tells Kariya that they should just look for the box. However, the five have made their way to the Post Office, to Pete's surprise. He retreats afterwards, leaving Kariya by himself. Feeling overconfident, Kariya reveals to Sora that he was the one who caused his vessel (the Gummi Ship) to malfunction earlier, using the sound waves from a giant vulture Noise-looking Emblem Heartless he created, the No-Sound Barrier. He was also the one who sent lesser Heartless into Neku and Joshua's room back at the Hotel, in an attempt to snuff them out. He then summons a barrier to keep the five from saving the hostages, and engages against the five. They manage to overpower Kariya at first, but then he retreats back to the Fountain Plaza. The barrier closes down and Neku frees his friends, telling them that everything will be okay. He decides to stay back with them to get rid of the other Heartless and Nightmares across town, leaving only Sora, Joshua, Donald and Goofy. They follow Kariya back to the Fountain Plaza. Kariya, using the darkness in his heart, summons the No-Sound Barrier. He sweeps away Donald and Goofy, leaving only Sora and Joshua to fight the giant Heartless. After an intense battle, the No-Sound Barrier is destroyed, the heart freed, and Kariya has no choice but to retreat for good. Donald and Goofy come back to Sora, and Joshua, despite Sora's urges, decides to let Kariya go for now, as he is beyond reach. Sora then decides to leave in a bit and continue his journey, since the ruckus in the city has been settled down. He meets back up with Neku and his friends, assuring them that, for now, everything is fine. Neku, feeling a sense of relief, gives Sora the Skull Noise keychain in gratitude. Beat, also feeling grateful, gives Sora a Warp Gummi he found. At the First District, as Sora, Donald and Goofy head back to the Gummi Ship, Sora suddenly remembers that they were going to give Rinoa a ride to Radiant Garden after meeting up. Luckily, she comes and apologizes for being late, as she was spending too much time in the Accessory Shop (while Sora and his friends were fighting the No-Sound Barrier). Sora forgives her, and after boarding the Gummi Ship, they all head towards Radiant Garden.
