Rubyblu343 91 Posted July 28, 2017 I want him to be smart ,mature but not too mature, not naive like in DDD,have a little bit of a smart mouth and be a bit sassy. Also still retain that happy go lucky attitude and not go overboard with it in DDD. 2 The Transcendent Key and KHShaderoom reacted to this
IwasBornAsVentus 396 Posted July 28, 2017 I wanna see Sora enjoying visiting new worlds with lots of curiosity and cheerfulness. But I would also like to see his more serious side when dealing with 13 seekers of darkness.
matteso586 115 Posted July 28, 2017 I too like to see him act more mature in KH3. Maybe Donald, Phil, Neku, and Joshua (if the latter two appear) would take note of that. Donald: Where has THIS guy been last few games... of our lives?
Headphone Jack 1,147 Posted July 28, 2017 i wouldn't mind seeing how he acted in Re: CoM. he still acted silly at times but also had the mental capacity to take things seriously and have more emotions than just a happy go lucky attitude like in DDD. Dustin Lübbers 933 Posted July 28, 2017 (edited) I want him to have fun most of all but I also want him to take things seriously when he needs to, most of all I want him to realize that when this final adventure of his is over he will join the world of adults so to speak, that he needs to get out of the way for a new generation of heroes but knowing him he will do this with heads held high and to qoute a very wonderfull song " the future doesn't scare me at all" Edited July 28, 2017 by Dustin Lübbers
Merilly 438 Posted July 28, 2017 I don't think he needs to be a lot more mature than in KH2. Of course he shouldn't be as naïve as in 3D, but Sora is a teenager. He was 16 in 3D and considering that KH3 probably won't take place 2 years after those events, he didn't have that much time to suddenly become that mature. Not to mention that he just isn't the type of person to act all adult-like. I do want him to be able to act according to the situation. It would make no sense for him to be extremely cheerful during the last battle for example. But he never was. He knew how to be serious before, too and he never took the main antagonists lightly. Quite frankly, I don't want his personality to change much from KH2. Especially in the last few games, it was made abundantly clear that it has to be Sora because he is himself. Suddenly altering his personality to a drastic extent would mean demolishing the concept they've tried to establish for quite a long time. That's why I don't understand these sudden calls for more maturity when he is still a teenager and was never very mature to begin with. Why would that suddenly need to change? They would have to provide a very good reason why he should be any different in comparison to 0.2s ending for example.
KeybladeMasterBalo 504 Posted July 28, 2017 I think his attitude in KH and KHII was really balanced as to maintain his pesonality but at the same time show a more mature advance. I hope the same happens in KHIII where we see his silly fun side but at the same time a mature grow in the adequate moments. I think it will anyway since for example in 2.9 we saw how they brought back Sora versus Donald casual fights which I love in the first games. For the other part he was still way too childish in some moments like when he says "how are we supposed to move around now?" In that line Sora's voice and personality wanted me to ground him forever, but in other parts such as the "may my heart be my guiding key" "I got it" "Pint and a half" "it's not a vacation". All of those reminded me of the Sora I know from 1 and 2. I trust Nomura anyway :v
NoWay 63 Posted July 28, 2017 (edited) I'm more worried about Sora's voice actor. I thought he sounded really strange in 0.2 as HJOs voice sounded way too high.. I liked his KH2 voice more Edited July 28, 2017 by NoWay
Clouded Sun 1,232 Posted July 28, 2017 His KH2 voice and personality is the best. I hate hearing DDD's battle grunts by Sora. You're darn right, it's a nitpick thing. But when you go through 50+ hours of hearing his goofy "HUWWWAAAAHHHH", you get tired reaaaaall fast. Everybody praises KH2, but rightfully so; it's the best KH game created. Voice acting included (at least for Sora, I think I like Riku's new voice).
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted July 29, 2017 Well, Sora has always been a cheerful guy, and it's that bright heart of his that has always shone the brightest in the series! In Kingdom Hearts III, it looks like he'll have that silliness to him, but I'm sure that when push comes to shove in dangerous situations, especially involving moments around the Seekers, Sora will definitely take things seriously! I'm sure we'll see an evolution of his character in Kingdom Hearts III that makes him even more awesome! I'd like to think of Sora as sort of like Naruto! Naruto can be really goofy at times, but when the situation calls for it, that guy can be dead serious! So I'm sure Sora can do the same! But not too serious, though! Remember, that cheerfulness is what makes Sora the way he is! 1 IwasBornAsVentus reacted to this
