Headphone Jack 1,147 Posted July 26, 2017 i guess the problem is that the AI party members can't be so good that they make every fight a breeze. because the combat is in real time it's probably trickier to program them to be useful but not too useful, whereas in a typical turn based JRPG you can either control every party member or the AI controls them and has a limited set of moves. at the very least, the AI partners in the KH games don't really get in your way and hinder your abilities.
