Reversal 53 Posted October 29, 2010 What I mean is, doesn't Ven have his keyblade in that chamber in Castle Oblivion? In the Final Story, Vens body summons the keyblade to open a portal for Aqua. Part of the summary for Final Episode from the timeline should clear this up then: Ven was drifting through his own darkness when he heard a familiar voice. Exhausted from the long journey, Ven's heart decided he belonged with the voice's heart. He was going home. Until Sora called out to him, his heart was still in his own body, just drifting through his darkness. He was able to use the Keyblade because his heart at that point, still remained. Once it left his body, it basically took his Keyblade along with him.
Mog 97 Posted October 29, 2010 Everything about Keyblades is a mistery but im theorizing something here (correct me if im wrong): As you know in the games you can change the appearances of your keyblade using what,... KEYCHAINS! You can also see that riku can shape his keyblade into destinys embrace (Destiny Place), but how did he do it?? Ohh and not to forget the subject about the star seeker (keep that one fresh 'kay!) My point is keychains, as some of you know, are made from memories, and by changing the memory that you are holding in your heart you can change the keychain therefore changing the keyblades shape. Mickeys Star Seeker was just the format of his inicial keyblade, but like the kingdom key you could reshape it. The fact that he appears with the star seeker then kingdom key D and then star seeker again just means he now holds in his heart the time he passed as an apprentice with yen sid and ven terra and aqua (the latter in his journeys). Now to get the kingdom key D we all know he went to the realm of darkness and there he must have triggered something that gave the memory to be able to reshape his keyblade into the kingdom key D (actually i believe he met aqua and found the strenght to lock the DTD with himself inside) Thank you for listening, and sorry if this is a huge post (i like talking but not compared to how much i love kh) then you can delete it or hide it or something. The Kingdom Key D, a color-inverted Kingdom Key which King Mickey wields, is in fact the Keyblade from the Realm of Darkness, which he obtained to mirror Sora's Keyblade from the Realm of Light.[2] This purpose is reflected in its coloration - where Sora's Keyblade is silver, Mickey's is gold, and the same goes for their hilts. Even the rainguard, blue on Sora's Kingdom Key, is red on Mickey's, although the handles are black for both Keyblades. You see now that the Kingdom Key-D wasn't made from Mickeys memories. He got it to mirror Sora's keyblade to help close the DTD.

That said I thought I would mention how in the begining of kh1 Mickeys voice is calling out to Sora. This shows a connection between Sora and Mickey (mabey even through Ven) so this could be how he acquired the kingdom key. Another thing worth being brought up is that kkd and the kk are the same keyblade inside and their only difference is outside. Now let's look at how Mickey acquired the kkd: His connection with sora gives him the ability to wield the kingdom key. Then because he is in the dark realm it turns out being the kkd. Reversal 53 Posted October 29, 2010 Well, it's an ability Mickey has; to talk to people through their hearts.
Sir Adamus 1 Posted November 10, 2010 Uh, it's not Mickey talking to Sora in his awakening, it's currently unknown who it is, for all we know, it could be Ventus (which would make sense, he's in Sora's heart after all). As for Mickey using the Star Seeker, well, it was the Keyblade he used while training under Yen Sid (he tried to return it to Yen Sid later because he felt he didn't deserve it, but Yen Sid gave it back). Mickey took the Kingdom Key D to mirror Sora's Kingdom Key and close the Door to Darkness from the other side. After KH and II, he simply didn't need it anymore, so reverted back to his Star Seeker.
