I have a few ideas

 

Castle Oblivion - Ventus is there! Maybe the box is hidden somewhere in there too?

 

Radiant Garden - We know of the experiments and studies that were being made there. It wouldn't be a surprise if it's hidden somewhere in a deep chamber or in a basement or even a tomb-like thing where the characters have to solve puzzles to get there.

 

Keyblade Graveyard - Last place we saw it at being dragged around. Maybe hidden within the earth itself, again in a tomb-like place filled with traps and puzzles to solve if we want to reach it.

 

Yen Sid - He's had it all along but has been keeping it secret for whatever reason

 

Realm of Darkness - Maybe Aqua finds it

 

My final guess is that Sora's mom has it. She's been keeping it and refuses to give it up until Sora comes down for dinner.

I'm not sure... a part of me think it is located in the Keyblade Graveyard, another says at Castle Oblivion and the last part says Cable Town... even if it could also be at the Destiny Island... it is difficult to pick a choice there are a lot of possible locations

Probably in a secret hiding spot that Luxu hid it from people. I don't think Luxu lived that long to carry it. Then again, this is Kingdom Hearts. Anything that seems impossible can be possible.

I was going to pick the Keyblade Graveyard, since that seems the most likely resting place of the Box! But maybe, just maybe, Luxu is still carrying it around to this day! Hey, if Xehanort can be able to transfer his heart from vessel to vessel, who's to say Luxu hasn't done the same? Although, since Xehanort has No Name, then that kinda changes things. No, wait, it doesn't! It doesn't matter, because Luxu could simply have another Keyblade and remove his heart with it, it doesn't have to be with No Name specifically! So yes, maybe Luxu is still carrying it around, under a different guise!

 

I highly doubt it's in Mt. Olympus though, since that world is the first one we visit, and I doubt something so important will be laid bare to us just barely starting the game, ya know? It's still a mystery...

I hope you're joking, because a). God knows why Chernabog attacked Sora in KH1; he was just sorta there after his world was destroyed, and b). Young Xehanort summoned Chernabog to attack Riku in DDD. So yeah, no, it's not on Bald Mountain.

Luxu could still be pulling it behind him wherever he goes.  Maybe even through time.

Well I think Luxu still has it! How can a man survive so long you might say? Well my guess is just one place... The Realm of Darkness (The Dark World). There is no time in that place so Luxu might have just fallen down there at some point (or jumped in) and then he found a way to got out and always carrying that mysterious box. Might be possible I guess.

I think that it'll be in the last possible place you would expect it to be, which would probably be a new KH original world that hasn't been shown yet. Heck, maybe the Master of masters disappeared in back cover to prepare a world for the black box resting place by using the book of prophecies perhaps... It sounds far-fetched I know, but I can see Nomura putting a twist like that in the game.

I think that it is either in the Keyblade Graveyard or Castle Oblivion (if the theory that Luxu was the teacher of Xehanort and Eraqus, or at least that he taught Keyblade wielders at the Land of Departure at some point in the past, is true), but I think I have to go with the Keyblade Graveyard.
