There is a traitor

Recommended Posts

Hmm, this is pretty concrete! A very solid theory! I am one of the many people who think that the Master Of Masters simply set this up in order to cause the Keyblade War, but seeing your post has made me think quite a bit! Ephemera does seem suspicious in the fact that he doesn't show for a lot of time during the events of X/Unchained X, and Gula is pretty mysterious, and he has that defiant air about him! Ava is the one I'd see as the unlikeliest to be the traitor, and Luxu, that guy's another mystery! Hopefully, more information about this shall be revealed with time! Oh, and we haven't even seen what Blaine is up to, so he may also have a hand in this!

It's curious how this whole thing about the traitor has been kept so closely under wraps! Odds are that by the very end of X/Unchained X/Union X, we'll finally have our answer, and perhaps we'll see something about this carry over into Kingdom Hearts III!

My problem with this theory is that xemnas could've been referring to xehanort,

and since unchained X took place before BBS (where the whole story started) xehanort wasn't even mentioned. However, since luxu has the keyblade xehanort is known to wield, I have a theory that luxu and xehanort are associated, but not the same person.

That could be a reasonable hypothesis! All we are sure of is that Luxu came to pass on No Name to someone who'd end up passing it to Xehanort, that much I know!

And who is Xehanort referring to? The Book of Prophecies. He must have more knowledge about the past than it seems and the fact that Xehanort says that "Destiny is never left to chance" makes me believe that he must have read it.

MoM thinks that changing the future is impossible and Xehanort does the same, probably because he is referring to MoM and the book of prophecies. Consequently the authority that a recusant (Sora) is not obeying is the MoM.

I wonder now, since Sora was never supposed to wield a keyblade, if this is something destiny decided or if it's a deviation.

But here's the thing. He couldn't have possibly known about the book of prophecies, since he was only told about the keyblade war, unless he was told about it by someone else, or had managed to get one, but considering the only complete copy is in the possesion of the MoM, it doesn't make sense how he could've known about the events.

Xehanort says in the KH3 trailer: "On that land darkness will prevail and light expire"

Where did he get that line?

In any case, Xehanort is someone who is convinced that destiny is something unchangeable and his proof is the book of prophecies.

But the million dollar question is how did he get one, if he didn't have any knowledge?

Who says that he didn't have knowledge at all? Maybe it's just incomplete knowledge and he wanted to see how things will unfold in the future. And it's not like the book of prophecies is the only source Xehanort is referring to. For example, the X Blade definitely isn't mentioned in the book, but interestingly he knows a lot about it.
