Kelly had been sitting down in her room, while Serenity was still resting. "It's amazing she sleeps that long." A voice said, although it wasn't Kelly's. It turns out that Kelly was talking to her sister via video call. "Yeah, anyways, I just called to check up on you, and see how you were doing." Kelly said with a smile. Scarlett then looked at Kelly from the other end of the call, "Kelly, what did you really call to tell me? We both know you never go 'Yeah, anyways' when it come to talking about Serenity." Scarlett said as she could tell there was something more bothering Kelly. "Okay, promise not to tell anyone, but we just had a meeting of the masters, and I am unsure what they were talking about this time, but I fear, I fear that something isn't right with the worlds. Remember how Xehanort and Kyle weren't the only ones who were evil at that time? What if one of those other people came back? Heaven knows I can't deal with that type of drama with Serenity in my life." Kelly said to her sister, whom she always could tell her feelings to. Scarlett then made Kelly breathe for a moment, "Kelly, you need to stop telling me this, and tell the person you love how you feel. I know things can get bad at any moment, but remember, you have to trust your partner and tell him your fears. We all are still dealing with the aftermass of the events that happened years ago, but what you want is a life with your family. So be honest with your family, and not just me. Now I have to run, but remember you can call me back the next time you need me. Oh, and also, don't forget that I'll be visiting in three days! Have to check up on my niece every once and a while." Scarlett said before ending the call.

 

This left Kelly alone with Serenity to think of the advice her sister gave her. She knew deep down she needed to find a way to tell Horizont how she feels, but the problem was finding the right time and the right place to do so.

{The World That Never Was: Memory's Skyscraper}

Following the source of light, the Survivor hobbled to the entryway of the Memory's Skyscraper. She attempted to open the doors, but found them locked. She banged on the glass a few times, cracking the glass in her last strike. She looked at the crack for a long moment, then started patting her pouches for something she could use to break the glass safely. Her fingers closed on the hilt of a dagger by her side. She drew it and studied for a few seconds, then used the pommel to break the glass. Carefully twisting some of the fram out of the way, she squeezed in.

Inside the skyscraper was a brightly lit lobby area, though it was dusty from neglect and felt as empty as the world outside. But it was out of the rain and felt warmer. After a quick look around the lobby, the Survivor slumped behind a dead tree in a large, decorative urn. Slowly she slipped down til she was sitting on the floor. So tired. Also hungry. Again, she began patting her pouches, this time looking for food. She came up with a package of dried meat and a bag of nuts. She selected a piece of the dried meat and tried to bite into it. After several tries to tear of a piece with her teeth, she finally found the "grain" of the meat, allowing it to tear more easily. She chewed thoughtfully as she watched the way she had come in. Just as she had known she needed shelter, she knew she had to be careful or end up dead.

 

{Castle Guard; The Keep}

The empty Keep echoed with the whistle of the wind as Harry searched it. While some of the chambers and hallways merely looked unkept, the main hall of the Keep which the Nexus had turned into a lab/monitoring station was another matter. Most of the equipment was damaged beyond repair and the walls and columns were scorched and scared from blade and spell. A few scars looked too clean, like what was missing simple hadn't existed. On of the columns looked like that, with a whole section of it just gone. There was still lingering traces of immense power expended here. But there was no sign of casualties or of a victor. Who ever had fought in the battle that had happened were simple gone. No way to tell if they had teleported away, or had simply ceased to exist like some of the damage to the room seemed like. If there was a clue to where Nexus and Lacuna went, it was buried deep.

"Man, worse than I remembered." Came Lacuna's voice from behind Harry.

She stood in the main door for the hall, wearing a somber full length robe instead of her gothic short dress she usually wore.

"Not that the decor was that pleasing to begin with." She continued dryly, looking around at the wrecked hall.

Harry was surprised by the visitor, but he still kept his cool. "Lacuna! I thought you were missing as well? How are you here? Do you know anything about what happened here? Anything about what happened to 'her'?" Harry said in a still calm voice, but was wondering many questions of how come a missing person just appeared out of nowhere.

"Terra!", "wait!", said both Pais and Horizont respectively, as the latter proceeds to say to Terra "Terra...are you sure about this? i mean, you and Aqua are expecting your son one month from now, are you sure its okay to leave Aqua and begin an investigation at this time?" said Horizont, as a fellow father concerned about Terra who is due to be one in one month's time, Pais replied "Yeah, you got to think of your wife and especially your baby man! don't you think it would be unforgivable to leave them right now!?" said Pais, stating his feelings on the matter, as just then appearing before Terra could reply was none other then Ventus, Ven saying before Terra "Relax guys, Terra knows this better then anyone but that's precisely WHY he has to go in the first place, this isn't the first Terra's heard about this, he's been getting news from Riku about a both strange and mysterious aura circling the Destiny Islands, its not Light nor Dark, heck its not even Twilight nor Nothingness but its something...something new and in the worst case scenerio...something bad..." said Ven, placing his concerns about what's going on at the islands, as Terra lastly replies "Don't worry you three, i'm going there to make sure everything is alright, Sora can't wield the Keyblade anymore so its up to us to protect the Worlds, just as its always been, listen, im counting on you three to protect everyone, including Aqua, Kelly, Namine and Invi, they need you guys so, can i count on you?" said Terra, as everyone made an individual reply, first Pais "Course you can! me and Invi we'll see to it that we look after Aqua!", second Horizont "Just be careful, you and Sora, we don't know what kind of threat we're dealing with here." and finally Ventus "...Terra, here, Aqua told me to give this to you." said Ven, as he handed Terra what looked like a new Wayfinder, combining the colours of both Aqua's Wayfinder and Terra's, leaving the young man to simply nod his head to his three friends, open up a Corridor of Light with the Ends of the Earth and head out, holding up his new Wayfinder in a victory pose as he left.

Mrithun was seen again, but this time, he was laying down in his room and staring at his second television watching what appears to be the news. "Well, there's still nothing interesting going on in anyone else's life, except apparently mine. Just my luck, I would be stuck with the weird stuff. Isn't there someone else that can take on the odd and apparently dangerous people out there?" Mrithun asked himself aloud as he watched the news. He was just hoping that the weird stuff could be over with. All he wanted in life was a normal human life, and all he ever got was the drama of being the son of the Underworld.

Suddenly, a Corridor of Light appeared in front of Mirthun inside his room, revealing appearing from inside of it none then Terra who was just last seen at the Garden of Eden a moment ago, saying simply to Mirthun upon meeting him "Yo." said Terra.

Most people would be startled by the sudden appearance of another man appearing out of nowhere, however to Mrithun, it wasn't any weirder than what has already happened today. He suddenly pulled the covers over his head, "Enough already with the odd and weird stuff today! Can't I have a break? Is it really that hard for me?" Mrithun said as he just wanted Terra to turn around and walk away.

"Unfortunately, you my friend, are a suspect at the moment, why? because you made yourself one, you carelessly left this hanging about on the streets, any decent person would at least have the proper idea of picking it up and knowing what to properly do with it." said Terra, as he summoned up the dagger that Aoie Kubo left behind and told off Mirthun for just leaving it laying about on the streets where just about anybody could pick it up and who knows what to do with it.

Mrithun uncover the sheets from his head, "Well let's see here, my options were to leave it and survive by making sure the enemy wasn't going to attack me when I picked it up, or touch it and possibly get attacked in the process? Which do you think I am going to pick? Also...you don't look anything like a cop, and so I'd say you aren't one, which means you really have no right to barge into my house without a warrant. So technically, I have all the rights to point a finger at you!" Mrithun said as he then breathed for a moment, "Anyways, I am not the guy you want, I can tell you exactly who you are after. A man known by the name of Aoie Kubo. This man just appeared and started talking things about me have potential and I becoming friends with some sort of legendary hero or something like that. Then he tried to stab my heart, but my magic allowed me to make a double of myself so the double took the hit, then I slashed the Kubo guy with my sword, and then he started having blood come out of his mouth, and then he said that maybe I don't have the potential he thought I did and then disappeared. That's when the dagger was the only thing that was left, and I was unsure if he had disappeared fully or if it was a trap, so I did the sensible thing and walked away to avoid being attack further. And that's the whole story. Now can you leave me alone? I've had to deal with much worst than this is my life and I would just like a simple human mortal life." Mrithun said as he told the whole story hoping Terra would leave so he could just live a simple life.

"Hmm...i see but, nuh uh, your going to come with me, if what your saying is true, which i believe it is then trust me pal, your not going to get the normal life you want anytime soon, now either you help me and solve this case so you can go back to having your normal life or i call the universal police and they will take you in without interrogating you, innocent or not, i'm offering you a chance, i know about you Mirthun, trust me, i have a certain history with Darkness too and believe you me, it comes back to haunt you, even if you don't want it to unless you nip it in the bud the first moment you get, so...can i expect a yes? do we have a deal?" said Terra, crossing his arms as he wanted Mirthun to make his choice whilst he sat on his bed.

Mrithun rolled his eyes, "One, you don't know anything about me! You think I am the son of a figure that you see as a fire haired evil blue thing of a god. However, that is not the same as dear ol' dad. He's even worst than you could possibly fathom." Mrithun said as he revealed his father is beyond what people of this universe think of when they hear the name Hades. "Two, you say you are giving me a choice, but all I hear is you are signing me up for war or taking away my will to live. So when you think about it, do I really have a choice but to join said war? Also, you do realize all I have is a sword and magic right? I don't even have that thing Sora always dreams about, a keyblade is it called?" Mrithun revealing that he has yet to receive his keyblade and that he apparently knows who Sora is. "Three, if I am going to go with you, I have three conditions, or requests if you prefer. One, I get 20 minutes here in my own house to pack to travel. Two, you have to teach me how you did that whole appearing in my room out of thin air thing, cause that seems useful. And three, I get a solid house building with appliances and TVs in it wherever you make me stay after coming with you. I have a feeling I won't see home for a while, and I am not just sleeping in the storage closet." Mrithun said as he had some fine terms that he was trying to get Terra to follow.

Invisa was thinking about what she heard in the meeting. She was worried about what could happen next. But she shook off her worry, as she knew that she and the others would get to the bottom of it. For now, she was hoping that the disturbance would get identified soon. She was wondering who would target Sora at a time like this.

"...Sigh, you know, you sure are a demanding little brat, you know that? still, you'll be good training exercise, i know a place we'll be staying on here at the islands, i'll only teach you Corridor magic if you behave yourself and also, i'll give you 30 minutes since this WILL take a while, prepare yourself...by the way, i'll teach you something extra: i'll teach you how to wield a Keyblade if you like." said Terra, stepping a little out of bounds with his Keyblade offer, as that is not really his decision to make whilst elsewhere, Riku was seen working on something with Ansem the Wise's apprentices, as he recalled a small flashback...

It was true that Mrithun could be seen in that way for some people, but it only comes from the deep fact that he had to make deals in life to survive as his father didn't act like a true fatherly figure, and only saw his son as just another soul. On top of that, Mrithun never knew his mother, only that she was mortal. His father never talked about her, and there was no imagines of her either. So he just could only ever make deals, he never really had support before he came to this new realm and he just wasn't used to it yet. "Fine, I'll try and behave, not because I like nor trust you, but only because I want to learn that spell. And we will talk about the keyblade later." Mrithun said as he then got up and got ready and tried to pack all the important things he would need to travel.

 

It was not long after that a voice appeared behind Terra. "Terra, what is going on? And why is my assistant involved?" The voice belonged to Luke, who had let himself in only to see Mrithun packing. Luke didn't know what was going on, but he wanted to know since it involved Luke's own assistant.

"...Riku told you to keep quiet about something, didn't he Luke? as his master, i can tell, plus, its okay to tell me, Riku would have known about the inclusion of us True Keyblade Masters by now and would like for you to trust us, listen, your student has gotten himself involved in something rather insidious and we want to find out just what that is before it can take root which i know you know very well was the case with both Kye...and...Xehanort...we're not letting that happen again." said Terra, as he rubbed his X mark scar on his cheek telling Luke of what was currently going on, meanwhile, approaching "...Huff...huff, phew, Invi...are you, alright?" was a both very shockingly and very surprisingly heavily pregnant Aqua, just one month away from childbirth.

Invisa looked at Aqua, and nodded as she smiled. She folded her arms as she looked at her. She could tell Aqua's child was a month away just by judging Aqua's condition. She didn't want to drag on a long conversation seeing her condition. "Yes, Aqua, I'm just fine, actually, just thinking about what transpired here is all." Said Invisa, talking to Aqua.

"Please tell me, i want to know, i am a fellow master of the Keyblade after all, even if i am a woman." said Aqua with her more or less inspiring words, as she sat next to Invi, all snug and comfortable, Riku recalls the flashback mentioned before, in the flashback, we see Ansem the Wise appearing, talking to everyone, as he saw both Even and Lea bickering, saying to them both "Even stop that! you are a scientist before you are a warrior, show some respect for the colleagues and tools around you and Lea, i know you came to interview me about the World news whilst you were waiting but still, that is no way to act, still acting like your a child, i won't say when is it time for you to grow up since i know every single one of us has an inner child within us when we reach adulthood but please, try not to cause trouble with my apprentices...especially in the labs." said Ansem the Wise, as this caused both Even and Lea to think about their actions and words, the former begrudgingly, as Ansem finally asked Riku "...Riku, its been too long, how have you been my boy? is there...something we can help you with?" said Ansem, as Riku merely stood sternly, ready to answer Ansem's words.

Luke looked at Terra sternly. "Okay, its assistant, he isn't a student of mine, he is a student of the same academy as Sora. I am just the person who found him when he needed help in this realm, and I needed an assistant for my book." Luke said telling Terra what relation he has with Mrithun. Luke then sat down in a nearby chair, "And I know you and the other masters are worried about mistakes of the past resurfacing. And yes, Riku did talk to me, I won't say what he said, but basically I know something was off about the world. However, I am done with that whole fighting thing, and Riku should have realized that. But what I do know is you don't know what you are getting yourself into here. Mrithun is a bit of work, nothing like you, Aqua, or even Ventus were. He has dealt with pain his whole life, and he never had a break from that before coming into this realm, at least you had years before Xehanort attacked, you had a childhood and a family. Mrithun doesn't have that, the first kindness he ever knew was from myself and Lucy. So trust me, you are in over your head here. But unlike him, I do trust you, but if you are going to take him with you and train him, you are going to need to keep me updated. Any sign that he can't handle it, and I am shutting you down. I want peace for all the worlds out there, as much as you do, but you must not live in fear of the past becoming present, or you will miss out on the now." Luke said to Terra as he wanted to keep an eye on Mrithun's safety.

"...Believe me, I know that better then anyone else, look, i know your concerned about your apprentice and that you want peace for the Worlds but its percisely that we want peace for the Worlds that sometimes we've got to do things we don't like, since they may bring about a positive end to things, you're too uptight Luke and Mirthun is too down, i think you will both benefit from this and it will deepen your relationship, as master and student respectively." said Terra, trying to ease Luke's worries in a way whilst trying to make Mirthun more independent from his ties to the past and make him more dependent on his current relations in the present now, like he has with both Luke and Lucy.

Invisa blinked as she unfolded her arms. Truth of the matter, she was thinking of what Shadowdrius' survival could mean, and she began to think of the Necrosis Phantom, thinking back to where it nearly overpowered her in the cave, but she shook off that thought. She felt she was ready to take it on when it appeared again, but she wouldn't be alone this time. She looked at Aqua, as her look turned stern. "I'm just thinking of what Shadowdrius' survival means... I do know this, though... It's still out there, yet to appear again after eight years." Said Invisa, talking to Aqua.

"Again, he is not my apprentice, and I am definitely not a master. We have a good assistant and boss type of thing, its business more than it's what you think of when it comes to masters. I am not a warrior anymore, I don't even fight in things like struggles." Luke said telling Terra once again he isn't a warrior anymore and is instead a business man who happens to writes for a living and Mrithun is just a good assistant which makes him a very good friend. "But anyways, it's really falls upon a true master to teach him if he must fight. I don't own that title, so I can't be the one to teach him, but I will keep an eye on him, and make sure he is doing well. And you may fight for peace, but Terra don't forget about what is right in front of you. That's your problem, you try too much to do your job, that you are blind to what is truly right in front of you. You mustn't lose sight of the people you meet, and the lives you affect. You should know this considering you have one month before becoming a father, and you must start thinking about what you want your child to grow up to be like. Hades didn't realize this, and that's why Mrithun is the way he is. You have a chance to not make those mistakes. Now I've got to go, farewell! Also, I am not uptight!" Luke said as he then disappeared in thin air.

 

Mrithun came in a few moments after Luke was gone, holding a suitcase full of things that he though he would need. "I am packed and ready as I am going to be. Now, where are we headed?" Mrithun said as he wondered why he of all people had to be doing this in the first place. He didn't seem to notice Luke had even been in the house, all he knew was Terra was forcing him to leave.

"...Heh, to a friend's." said Terra, as he hinted an enigma towards where both Mrithun and him would be heading whilst Aqua puts her hand on Invi's forehead, saying something very important to her "...Invi, you know you have strength of Heart, right? believe in your strength, as you share your name with one of the greatest True Keyblade Masters of both old times and all times...Foreteller Invi herself." said Aqua, taking note of the fact that Invi's nickname sounded like Foreteller Invi, one of the apprentices that served under the Master of Masters himself.

Invisa blinked as she heard of Foreteller Invi's name that been mentioned. She had known about knowledge regarding her and the other Foretellers for over three years, and she began to think of those words. She felt she had the strength to go through it. She looked at Aqua with a smile as she folded her arms. "Thanks, Aqua, I understand those words, and I hold them dear. You can count on me." Said Invisa, talking to Aqua.

"...Hehe, now, let's go Invi, i want to do some baby shopping, i would like your assistance, please may you open up a Corridor of Light to Twilight Town please?" said Aqua, knowing her limits and wanting to have fun with a fellow woman shopping, trying to take the pressure off things going on inside Invi's head.
