Toy Story World Confirmed for D23?

At the end of the most recent Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer more info is promised to the KH community that a new world and trailer will be announced at this years D23 on July 15th.

 

The one thing many have seemed to miss is behind the words is an image of sora holding what looks like a larger version of a buzz lightyear toy blaster.

 

While watching the trailer I thought the weapon looked familiar but upon further investigation, I realized that I had a toy just like it when I was a kid.

That's a good observation. Though I have to admit, the shaping of the transformation seems more stylised and suited towards the drills used in Atlantis.

Thanks for telling me what that was because I didn't know what it was. Anyway, I don't think it confirms Toy Story, but it could confirm a new Keyblade transformation.

yea no doubt whatever Sora's holding is meant to tease the next world reveal at D23. i also thought it looked like some kind of space blaster so i assumed it was Toy Story as well. guess we'll find out next month.

I am not so sure  but If that really is buzzes weapon that means we will get all kinds of Disney hero arsenal and give them a makeover

Toy Story is one of Disney's most popular properties. I mean, it's a no-brainer.

That's a good observation on your part as well! I mean, there's no doubt that the silhouette has similarities to Buzz's blaster, but at the same time, there's a notable difference! If it does hint at Atlantis, I'm gonna lose my mind! A world reveal like that would make my year! :'D

 

Though I'd love Toy Story in Kingdom Hearts III as well!
