LivingLegend 14 Posted May 29, 2017 So I'm trying to get fantastic on all the ice cream beat mini games for all 3 characters and I'm having a bit of trouble with just the first one.Anyone have any tips to make this a bit easier? This is naturally for the people that have already managed to get the trophy of course 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this
Qrow 86 Posted May 29, 2017 Well there's not much we can do...Ice Cream Beat it's more of a reflex and patience game. Try not to break the combo and press X when the circle is close to the center. Some people say it's better to play without the sound (Personally I prefer with the song, but try it!). But the best thing to do is to memorize the max you can! RikuFangirl2008 1,368 Posted May 29, 2017 I don't what kind of tip to give out. How I play it is like hear the beat given then mimic the beat. It's been so long I've played BBS on my PSP.
KH4Real 749 Posted May 29, 2017 I would give up platinum this game if you have problems with this trophy. I think I will I might fight the secret bosses this time.
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted May 30, 2017 Okay, so the trick here really is to observe Huey, Dewey and Louie's movements and follow the beat to the letter, ya know? Which means you've gotta know just the right moment to press X, so even if you don't get an Excellent, at least you get a good! As long as you don't break your score to much, when you get a considerable height with the Ice Cream, you'll get the Fantastic rating, and you can get the trophy! Emrys 3,192 Posted May 30, 2017 When it comes to rhythm games I find listening to the song a lot before playing it helps a lot. Luckily all the songs in that game are actual tracks from KH. Look them up on YouTube and give them a listen. Practice makes perfect.
VisitJoan 2,713 Posted May 30, 2017 What worked for me is taking a break. I could not pass the game and it drove me nuts because I'm good at that sort of that thing. I was on the way home from St. Louis and stopped at a gas station to use the bathroom. When I got back to the game I was much better at it. I wish you luck! Ventus_ 396 Posted June 3, 2017 (edited) Persistence and focus are my secret weapons. Just focus on Hewey, Dewey and Louie's clap patterns and repeat the level consistently for memorization. This is how I got the 'Cool' required of Ventus and when I first started, I was clueless to the concept of moving between the characters. >_< It's still the highest score I've gotten but I'm not interested in excelling at it, not even for the Sweet Stack as it's among the most ridiculously designed Keyblades in the franchise so far, IMO. It looks like a child's toy. Edited June 3, 2017 by Ventus_
