palizinhas 102 Posted April 14, 2017 Fun stuff: - When Rey goes "Darkness. Balance." there are some lines playing in the background. Being exact, Leia's "help me, Obi-Wan" is one of them, but I'm unsure on the others. - New Resistance ship! It seems to match the description Aftermath Empire's End gives to the Republic's new ship Starhawk. A-Wings are also seen on the trailer. - Luke's big line in the end is interesting, and I have some thoughts on it, but can't quite process them right now. I'll find it interesting to know if he reached that conclusion after Ben went rogue, or if he also didn't teach the Jedi way per se when Ben was his student alongside others. Firaga 5,947 Posted April 14, 2017 So far, so good. Ren looks more and more like Anakin before he became Vader which is probably Ren's wet dream at this point.

I think the second quote in the Rey scene is from Palpatine. He says something about "the Dark Side," that's all I could make out. I can't understand the third, but it sounds like Yoda to me. As for Luke's finishing line, it could also be out of context or cut off from something else. We'll see in the future, but there are a lot of ways to interpret it. I can't wait to see how he's changed after TFA in this one. I hope that people stop complaining about him being a whiny crybaby who doesn't look intimidating at all. It sure looks like he's going to be showing a more forceful side (no pun intended). The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted April 16, 2017 Good God, you don't know just how happy seeing this teaser made me! I saw it the same day it appeared on YouTube, and I was blown away! This teaser has elevated my hype, and I can definitely tell something big is gonna go down! Also, that John Williams is a master composer! Such majestic music fits the majesty that is Star Wars! :') I loved the teaser, and my favorite parts were the training shot and Luke saying it's time for the Jedi to end! I believe this will all end with neither Jedi or Sith coming on top! I believe we will bear witness to the Gray Jedi I've heard so much about! The true balance! And I don't care what anyone says, Kylo is a frickin badass! I can't wait for this amazing film to come out already! :')

I'm hyped anyway, I'm pretty sure don't quote me on this but this is the first Star Wars Movie title card that hasn't been the usual Gold but instead a Sinister dark Red. If it's a certain female character that vanished in the Season 2 finale, then yes, I get what you mean! If you're talking about Bendu, though he's not technically a Jedi, he does symbolize the balance! Either way, yesss, I can't wait to see if Gray Jedi is the path Rey will walk on! (OMG, Rebels Season 4 is gonna be heart poundingly epic! I saw all three previous seasons, and I'm so ready for the final season! ) And well, Rey becoming a Gray Jedi could very well be the case! Unless a plot twist jerks us around and Kylo ends up being one! And yes, you are correct! Though originally, Revenge Of The Sith had the red coloring, but then it reverted to the usual golden coloring! But it looks as though The Last Jedi will be the first film in the series to truly strike out with its red lettering! Gahhh, grim things are to happen, and I couldn't be more excited! palizinhas 102 Posted April 25, 2017 Grey Jedi isn't a thing that exists. Bendu's no Jedi, neither is Ahsoka. The term you're looking for is non-aligned Force user.

They are established as Force Users that wield both the light and dark sides of the Force, and aren't restricted to just one principle, ya know? Although technically, you are right in that it doesn't exist, since the old canon apparently isn't canon anymore. But, Thrawn was from the old canon and they brought him into Rebels, so I'm sure that the concept of Grey Jedi might probably be carried over into the latest Star Wars trilogy! Pablo Hidalgo, who is part of the Lucasfilm story group, has said that "grey Jedi" is the same as saying that you're a vegetarian that eats meat. Jedi is a religion. If you use the dark side you are going against Jedi Order code, and as such are not a Jedi. Grey Jedi is right up there with Jaina and Jacen Solo in possibility of showing up in the new Canon. "Non-aligned Force users" is how it should be called. Gray Jedi makes no sense when one considers what a Jedi IS. "Jedi" is a branch of Force users, just as "Sith" and "Dathomirian Witches" are. And using the dark side is against Jedi code. That being so, gray Jedi = non-existent thing. Ahsoka also never used the dark side, she just isn't a Jedi because she left the Jedi Order and it's teachings behind because of what the Jedi Council did to her, so she's hardly "gray Jedi" material anyway even if that WAS a thing.
