Considering that KH 2.8 got 2 patches (maybe more?) then maybe this time Square will actually do something to patch 1.5 and 2.5 now that they are on PS4.

This is a little disappointing to me considering that I never played a KH game in my life and I was expecting this PS4 collection to be the "definitive edition". I mean I'm still really excited to get it and I'm sure some of these problems might not be present on every playthrough, and maybe the Western releases will either perform better (or worse but let's hope it doesn't ) or Square will patch some of them before its US/EU release or release a patch for it some days later.

Woooooooow are you for real? I was seriously a bit hyped for KH 1.5+2.5 on PS4 after seeing Dean and Bizkit do live stream playthroughs of the JPN version but after seeing the list as well as a few videos of Bizkit showing some of the problems I am going to hold oiff on buying it until this gets patched. I hate to say it but this  makes KH 1.5 and 2.5 look even worse on PS4 despite the insanely fast loading times.

Well, if they solve this in JP before NA releases, then it's likely we'll get a Day 1 patch. Either way, I'm really hoping to play without those issues, especially the scary save-crash.

Still not enough to kill buying it for me. I barely ever came across any of the complaints people had with the PS3 versions, so for all I know I may not get these issues at all when the English version comes out, and it sounds as though they may have already addressed some of those issues already in the English version of the demos are anything to go by. And I think it's pretty obvious a patch is imminent at some point, especially since those are apparently easier to arrange for the PS4 compared to the PS3. Plus most of these terms I'm not familiar with, it sounds like you only come across most of these whenever you try to go all "Pro-Mode" on the bosses, and I kind of follow my own unconventional play style so I'm far from attempting anything that's even close to these strategies. And I already save way more times than I reasonably should in KH anyway, so I'm pretty much set up to take any issues like these in stride, if not outright avoid them in some cases.

 

Also, I pre-ordered from Square anyway, so I can't exactly impulse-cancel out of pure rage and disappointment, if I was ever even considering it in the first place. I'm fairly confident that most of these issues will be addressed in due time though.

It may never get patched.

 

0.2 got patched likely because it's a new game. The HD ports even on PS3 were patchable, yet Square never fixed them. There's even more problems with data fights too. That list doesn't even include BBS which is messed up or Re:com.

Plus, I get pretty tolerant when it comes to these sorts of things. Really it's aesthetic errors that peeve me more, like the whole Ven's Station of Awakening thing (don't ask, you'll just get another paragraph from me)...which I really hope they rectified this time.

To all the people damage controlling KH 1.5 + 2.5 and say that the PS4 port is "fine" here are all the problems that it currently has on PS4. SE literally only slapped 60fps for this port and didn't fix a single thing. Which is a shame. They better patch this soon along with patch all the problesm that the PS3 versions had.

BBSFM seems to only have 60FPS problems according to the updated list from the 15th. Considering that's the game I'm going to play first, the other problems aren't gonna be a big deal to me as I have some faith that they will fix all problems.
