Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted March 10, 2017 Square Enix has announced that Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ[chi] has been renamed to Kingdom Hearts Union χ[cross] for its second season. You can view the official logo and new artwork, as well as the new trailer, below: The trailer focuses on the all-new Multiplayer Mode and shows Ventus for the first time in the game. We'll bring an update with the translated trailer as soon as we get it. You can visit the Japanese pre-registration page for the game here. UPDATE 1: A teaser trailer is now available for the English version of Kingdom Hearts Union χ. View the trailer from the official Kingdom Hearts YouTube channel below: UPDATE 2: We now have the English release date for Kingdom Hearts Union χ. According to Gematsu, the free update will be released in April with a new "Union Cross" multiplayer mode and more ways you can customize your player avatar. Here's an overview from Square Enix: With Kingdom Hearts: Union χ, players can create teams of six from their party members or through a matchmaking feature to fight hordes of Heartless enemies and powerful bosses. Players can also take on quests of increasing difficulty as well as unique new missions. To help these teams of friends communicate with each other, the game will now include emotes and text bubbles. Players will encounter both familiar and new faces as the story of the Unions continues to unfold, and the new “Theater Mode” will allow players to relive the drama and rewatch cutscenes. UPDATE 3: We have also added translations for the trailer dialogues. Check the translations below. Trailer text: Let us meet again here tomorrow First Dialogue: Ava: You are one of the 5 chosen by Dandelion. You 5 have to become a foreseers, lead a union and guide everyone. Second Dialogue: Master of Masters: There is no need for memories of the calamity in the next era. Here and in other worlds, I want you to experience a time without calamity. Ava : Is that really possible ? Master of Masters: Don't worry I can do it. First take care of these 5. Third dialogue : Skuld: Am I the second one ? Ephemera : Skuld ? Is that you ? Skuld: More importantly, I wonder who are the 3 others. Ephemera: I was sceptical when Lady Ava told me to come here so I didn't even think who would come here too. Skuld: Ah ! Someone is coming Fourth dialogue : Skuld: You are the third one. Ephemera: Did Lady Ava send you ? Ventus: Yes, she told me to come here once everything is over. G-SANtos 105 Posted March 10, 2017 (edited) I guess this trailer debunks the theory that the Player is Ven. That final scene in the trailer was Ephemer introducing himself to Ven, which would contradict Player and Ephemer meeting for the first time in that dream. It was kinda obvious from Nomura's words they weren't the same person, though. Nomura said Ven would play a role in the story, and the Player never plays a role in the story being just an avatar for the players to experience it. The ones Nomura sketched the outlines of next to Ventus, Ephemer and Skuld a while ago. Inb4 some complete bullshit like Eraqus and Xehanort.
