Elfdemon_ 695 Posted February 27, 2017 We know that after the Keyblade War happened and after Kingdom Hearts was lost to darkness, the World was recreated and reborn. Before the Keyblade War in the Age of Fairy Tales, the World was one massive piece of land. We do not know if it was an infinite flat piece of land or if it was just a massive planet or something, but we do know that it was very different than how the World is now. After the Keyblade War, something caused the World to be recreated into a World comprised of many smaller worlds/planets. One of the biggest questions I have always wondered about KH is "What caused the World to be reborn?" I've always thought of different scenarios and answers that would make sense. The one that I always assumed was probably the correct answer was that the Keyblade War was so destructive that it split the World/massive planet into many smaller worlds/planets. But, I now have realized the true answer. I was rereading the Xehanort's Report and I came across a bit of info that I'm guessing went under many people's noses. The part I'm talking about is this: "And when Kingdom Hearts is complete, it is said the one who opens its door will bring about the creation of the Next World. Such a feat is above any human. Or, to put it a different way: whoever opens that door will be reborn as something far greater than human." It suddenly hit me when I read this. I've always assumed that no one was able to unlock Kingdom Hearts way back in the Age of Fairy Tales and the Keyblade War just simply caused it to fade away. But no, that's not the case. Someone was able to unlock Kingdom Hearts way back in the Age of Fairy Tales after the Keyblade War. Someone unlocked Kingdom Hearts and was reborn into something far greater than human and created the Next World. The Next World is the world that people are currently living in now. The Next World is the world that is comprised of many smaller worlds. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think I've seen a single person come to this realization yet. "How could we have been so blind?!" as King Mickey would say. Or maybe I'm just dumb and everyone has realized this already. This theory brings up many questions: Who unlocked Kingdom Hearts? Whoever they are basically became a god. Where is this godlike entity now? How does this connect with the Dandelions? I've always been a huge critic of the theory that some characters might be reincarnations of characters from the Age of Fairy Tales since it doesn't really have much evidence, but this could maybe mean that a character we know might be this godlike entity that was reborn. What do you think about all of this? What do you think this theory implies? How do you think this theory connects to everything? Any details I'm missing? EDIT: Another thing to note is that in the same Report, Xehanort states "To this day, no one has ever managed to open the door to Kingdom Hearts", but maybe he just doesn't know that it was unlocked way back then? Maybe this theory is completely incorrect, but it seems to fit so perfectly. How else would the World have been recreated into one with many smaller worlds? This theory makes way too much sense in my opinion to not be at least somewhat true. 4 CriticalAssension, KHUndertaleFan25, Philip Ellwell and 1 other reacted to this

KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted February 27, 2017 Well the worlds were all one. They were too far away for Keyblade wielders to reach them as stated by Ephemer in KHχ. I don't think anyone has unlocked Kingdom Hearts yet and it is still in darkness. That could be what Master Xehanort is trying to do.

I'm saying someone unlocked Kingdom Hearts before it fell into darkness and that's what caused it to fall into darkness and that's what caused the world to be reborn. And Xehanort is definitely trying to unlock Kingdom Hearts. That's been confirmed many times.
kingdombladesventus 53 Posted February 27, 2017 DAAAAAAMN! If that's a literally quote from the game, then how can we miss this?! If that's true in some sense or not, then who could of opened/unlocked Kingdom Hearts? I'm thinking it's Ventus or someone, like, We have no background story on him. Terra and Aqua...could use some work. Or it could be someone's descendant. Then again, this is just a theory, we would have to wait and see until Kingdom Hearts III. If not someone's descendant, someone's reincarnation? I wouldn't know.
DoDo4869 301 Posted February 27, 2017 That is a really interesting theory good job This theory brings up many questions: Who unlocked Kingdom Hearts? Whoever they are basically became a god. Where is this godlike entity now? How does this connect with the Dandelions? This reminds me of something. It has to do with the ending of the original Kingdom Hearts X which was only available in Japan (so don't read any further if you don't want to read any spoilers^^). Credits go to Everglow So basically this takes place after you fought with the foretellers. You awake on the Keyblade graveyard and suddenly this light appears (image 1). Then Skuld appears and shortly after that Ephemer as well (who went missing for a long time). The main reason why I remembered this scene is, that you said "whoever unlocked Kingdom Hearts basically became a god" and as soon as this light appears our character talks about "a godess". Maybe Skuld (and also Ephemer) were able to unlock Kingdom Hearts somehow? ( if you want to watch the video, the scene starts sometime around 35:30) And also something from X Back Cover: Gula wanted to summon Kingdom Hearts to bring the master back somehow. Maybe he accomplished something? I gotta say... this theory is indeed pretty interesting 2 Elfdemon_ and Svard reacted to this

Well I must admit, even though we were shown the Keyblade War, there are still holes and who knows if you're right. Darn you Nomura! 1 Elfdemon_ reacted to this
MadChapelier 19 Posted February 27, 2017 (edited) "To this day, no one has ever managed to open the door to Kingdom Hearts" You know nothing, Xehanort. EDIT : Potential KH3 spoilers if true : Maybe at the end of KH3, Xehanort will actually be able to unlock Kingdom Hearts. After all, Nomura said that we'll see KH's true nature in the game. And when he does it, the new world will be the setting for KH4 (or "Kingdom Hearts B" as I call it) and a reboot with the new form of Xehanort wanting something else again.
