Ryan Zimmerman 0 Posted January 27, 2017 Theory. The Master of Masters is actually Xigbar/Braig sent into the far far past by Xehanort to start the Keyblade War in the first place. It would explain why he told Luxu his eye was put into the Keyblade (eyepatch), it would explain why he's started planting seeds of descent into the foretellers, and it explains how he wrote the Book of Prophecies and why he was detailed with some points and extremely vague with other. Wild theory but if it's correct, jesus.
Master Eraqus 1,340 Posted January 27, 2017 (edited) BBS and DDD spoilers: If he was Braig/Xigbar, why the different voice actors? Braig/Xigbar got an eyepatch cause Terra got rid of one of his eyes. With time travel, you can only go to a point in time in which a version of you exists, which neither Xehanort nor Braig/Xigbar are capable of. Remember that Braig is already half Xehanort in DDD and Skuld has Xehanort's eyes. Skuld and Ephemera (due to the silver hair) could very well be distant relatives of Xehanort and hence Braig could time travel backwards. However there are a few things wrong with this theory still, if Braig went back in time he'd have to abandon his body first and then seek a vessel when he gets to the time of Chi/Unchained Chi. Who would this vessel be? Second, this would literally mean that Braig was responsible for Xehanort receiving a keyblade since he set Luxu off down the set path. But I do have something to add Perhaps the Foretellers knew what the MoM looked like originally but Braig used the MoM as a vessel after time travelling. He took the Org 13 coat with him and keeps it up to mask his appearance as his true looks aren't exactly that of the master. catmaster0116 2,676 Posted January 28, 2017 Why Braig has a patch: Braig lost one eye due to Terra Why Braig is not to be trusted, even by Xehanort: KH3D ending, during the conversation between Young Xehanort and Braig - Braig states that he has been kept busy enough by 'plans of his own' which were implied to be distinct and separate to Xehanort's plans. 1 KingdomHearts3 reacted to this

Do we need to mark posts as spoilers, since the title already has a spoiler tag? Anyways: 1. If they had the same actor, then it would be too obvious who he is. 2. The eye could be a mechanical eye, not an actual eye from the MoM. When Xigbar lost a real eye, it could had been for irony/symbolism. OR it's possible that he never lost an eye, and he's just wearing an eyepatch to look weak to Xehanort. 3. If a MoM's heart fragment is inside the box, then technically a version of him exists in the future. Edited January 28, 2017 by BlazingSoul

Why have different voice actors? It's too obvious? Then why have different voices to begin with? The eye is his actual eye. He specifically says, "My eye to be exact." Braig clearly lost an eye since Terra shot him in the eye as well as having scars. We don't know what happened to the box. If Braig time travelled to the events of Chi, at least a version of him should have existed at that point, which didn't. Also, we have no idea what's in the box. Given what's written on it, it most likely has something to do with the X-Blade.

I think you're all missing the really big point that ruins this whole theory and that's that BRAIG'S EYES AREN'T FREAKING BLUE.
