Upcoming Marvel and Square Enix Announcement

Allegedly, Square Enix will be making an announcement as well as Marvel. Although most likely a coincidence, some speculate it may not be.

Square Enix and Marvel BOTH announce that they will announce something tomorrow, and posted at the exact same date, and the exact same time, down to the minute. They're making it so tough to tell what could be involved. These major companies are getting our hopes up by messing with our heads, like the awkward moment of getting two copies of Destiny for Christmas... "Ohh... Ehhhh, okay? Guess I can give it to one of my friends. "

 

Welp, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what both of them announce tomorrow.

I'm super intrigued!  Marvel and Square, posting an announcement like this, at the very same exact time on the very same exact day, both teasing something for tomorrow....?  Nah, it couldn't be...could it?  A Marvel world revealed for Kingdom Hearts III?  I mean, it could be possible! If this were to be the case, then I think it'd be an exciting prospect!  I've moved on from being skeptical of Marvel being in KH to actually being pretty chill and positive about it, so if this announcement turns out to be a Marvel world for Kingdom Hearts III, then hell yeah, I'm all for it!

 

Gahhh, the possibilities!  Hell, it could also be just a surprise related to a franchise of Square's, and a new project for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It could be that just as well, ya know?

 

I dunno, I'm hoping for something KH related!

It's actually worth noting that there are two Marvel Twitter accounts: Marvel Entertainment and Marvel Studios.

 

Marvel Studios is obviously for the movies, but Marvel Entertainment tweets about everything else (the comics, TV shows, video games, etc.). If it were an MCU related announcement, surely it would've been tweeted by the Marvel Studios account?

You've got a good point there!  And well, I saw what this announcement was! Turns out it's a collaboration project between Square and Marvel regarding the Avengers! Not what I expected, but it's exciting regardless! I wonder how this'll turn out!?
