KHBbS Who was a little confused...

...when they realized the "X-Blade" was pronounced keyblade.

 

That was a little disappointing for me. "Ex-blade" sounds so much cooler. Plus its a little weird calling it that. What the hell were they thinking?

Well X is an actual greek letter pronounced "key".

In Plato's Timaeus, it is explained that the two bands which form the soul of the world cross each other like the letter ?. So I guess they used that in reference to light and darkness being a balance in the world.

Hmm, I never knew that before and thought of the X being like that. Thanks for the info. However I still think "X-blade" is more fitting as we already have "Keyblade"
