@Cyber Shaman @SMK

Kinda going off of what SMK's saying, there are some pretty creative Stands imo. I mean, a handful of them are broken, but aside from that they make for some cool fights.

Also iirc Araki's mentioned that his memory isn't that great. Idk if that extends to him forgetting things as he's writing the story and stuff, but it's possible .-.

YOU'RE TOO F*CKING LATE... kidding.

Still: Part 3 gets too much flack, I stand (ha, pun) by what I say. Steamrollers for days.

When rereading everything, I felt that Part 3 has got its good fights, and it's... more ehh fights. Also, there are just a lot of fights xD Like you end up not remembering half the tarot ones (like, who cares about Tower of Gray, Dark Blue Moon, High Priestess, The Sun, Ebony Devil, Wheel of Fortune, Judgment, etc?) I think the Nine Egyptian Gods were more solid overall tho.

Also there was that girl who was there for part of the journey but she was just... there, and then she disappeared xD

I remember most of them because most of them were God damn fun and creative, especially the later ones. It's an episodic adventure, you take it piece by piece and let it slowly digest. Not shove in a bunch of slice-of-life bullshit and then a little bit of plot somewhere in between and then near the end... can you tell that I still don't like DiU?

And it's a good thing she did. One thing about JoJo in general that bugs me is the stupid tagalong kid characters. We don't f*cking need them. That's actually something I give credit to DiU for i.e. Koichi (and Hayato to a certain extent).

I guess by reading I didn't have time to digest everything in SC, but then for DiU I didn't have to wait to get to more interesting arcs xD

Yes, because seeing some goofy chef troll our JoJo for a chapter and do firetruck all for the rest of the story is so interesting...

At least all of Okuyasu's health problems were fixed. Who knows how he would've fared in later fights with insomnia and a stiff back.

He was barely in later fights. As was the rest of the core cast in general. Because this Part has a shitty core cast.

She was a setup for another plot, but was immediately dropped. The same goes for Hol Horse.

Rip Hol Horse can never catch a break

How can you say the core cast wasn't there?

Like everyone was in Red Hot Chili Pepper

Jotaro and Koichi were in Sheer Heart Attack

Jotaro, Josuke, Koichi and Okuyasu were all in Atom Heart Father

Rohan, Josuke and Koichi in Highway Star

Josuke and Okuyasu in Let's Go to the Transmission Tower

Rohan and Koichi in Cheap Trick

Technically everyone in Another One Bites the Dust

I can give you Enigma because it was basically Josuke and Yuya, and the end because it was mainly just Josuke and Kira

Oh, and I guess Janken Boy... Yeah...

I can see that Jotaro and Okuyasu didn't do much in the end, but you can't say that *everyone* wasn't around in general. Unless you were just expecting every fight to have everyone in it. I mean, that wasn't even always the case in Part 3.

EDIT: AXEL DON'T READ ANY OF THIS

I meant that most of them sucked.

And most of those fights don't mean shit because again, most of the plot is slice-of-life meaningless trite.

Oh, okay

All the arcs I listed were basically the arcs that weren't slice-of-life.

... Except Janken Boy. Yeah Yoshihiro tried using that kid, but... yeah.

And even those are meaningless because the entire plot is literally just waiting for Kira to do stuff instead of actively pursuing him. I mean yeah, you show Jotaro going around and finding evidence... but that doesn't mean shit. Because it's just more time wasting. And you can tell because most of that slice-of-life crap is shoved in between the point where we already know who the killer is and when the dad shows up and other junk.

I completely disagree, but I do feel like Jotaro and Josuke was irrelevant towards the end.

They don't even kill the main villain. A f*cking ambulance does. Oh yeah and stupid ghost girl gets the last laugh because pointless "heart of gold" symbol shit.

I still do like how that part happened in process though, It was a pretty good callback.

I wouldn't want to point that part the main character, it more or less plot armor

What was plot armor is how he managed to even get in a shot at him in the first place because it didn't make any sense.

Forgetting comes off with the territory of working under Jump's

Remember how Toriyama forgot that Raditz existed in DBZ when he did Episode of Bardock xD

Yeah

Sure it has it's issues but I still love Stardust Crusaders to death heck without it Jojo might as well be a dead franchise without the introduction of stands

I completely disagree, but I do feel like Jotaro and Josuke was irrelevant towards the end.

I absolutely disagree with this

If it wasn't for Josuke fighting Kira at the end Jotaro wouldn't have had found out that he was disguising himself as Kosaku

And if it wasn't for Jotaro,Kira would've still terrorized Morioh for years to come if he didn't come to investigate the appearance of stand users there

As for plot armor..............every franchise has this from time to time and it isn't always as bad as you describe it

If your point is,and I'm getting on an earlier point we talked about, that stand shouldn't have happened in Jojo, then the franchise would've remained a Fist of the North Star clone and would've died with Part 2

Whether we agree on it or not.The stands ARE JOJO....they are part of the core of the series and it's what made it have a huge impact on the manga\anime industry for three decades

What does not liking part 4 has to do with stands? We literally said nothing about stands. And honestly I'm very offended that this was somehow shifted to not liking stands. Edited by Cyber Shaman

Well I'm referring to one of your old posts here.....sorry,didn't mean to offend

It's fine to not like a part,I just misinterpreted most of it to stands

The ironic part is that the main reason I'm looking forward to watching part 5 is for the Stands. Part 5 probably has the greatest stands and the most interesting concept in the franchise.

Though Golden Experience from what I've heard(also seen from the Eyes of Heaven Ps4 game) might be the most broken stand ever

Going into DragonBall chat for a sec here:

A) He's never said that and B) Episode of Bardock wasn't even penned by Toriyama, that was Nano Ooishi.
