animemylove 439 Posted January 17, 2017 I mean it's awesome to see all the effects and the shader in action for what we can expect graphically in KH3. But as far as story, we got close to nothing besides the back cover and that could lead anywhere lol.
Nick Sideris 1,551 Posted January 17, 2017 I absolutely agree with you mostly on 0.2 . I am pretty disappointed with its story . My expectations were not very high to begin with but when I watched 0.2 through Youtube , I was like :"Wait , that's it ?".Now , don't get me wrong , the new graphics look great ! But ,the only thing that 0.2's storyline did was to raise a lot more questions and make it even harder for me , at least, to understand the whole plot . Back Cover , on the other hand, knocked it out of the park for me. It was great . It made KH III a lot more interesting .
KH4Real 749 Posted January 17, 2017 The reason why it is short is cause it's meant to be a KH3 demo. The could have added more new Disney worlds like Jungle Book.

Honestly I felt the opposite, I found that 0.2 kind of solved some of my minor questions and helped clear a few lil things about the story. Not a lot, not at all but I found it helped more rather then raised more questions. I wasn't too fond of Back Cover mostly because it was kind of Anti-Climatic and while it did give us a few more new details and unveiled more information about the Foretellers personalities, goals etc, I found most of Back Cover was just hints and not actual straightforward answers. 2 Alja and Nick Sideris reacted to this
khsg 73 Posted January 17, 2017 I was more disappointed on back cover rather than on 0.2. Although 0.2 could reveal more, it was an amazing experience seeing Aqua fighting in the Realm of Darkness and interacting with Mickey. Whereas, in back cover they revealed little to none information, because they want people to keep playing unchained x.

Definitely has me curious on how the events of the keyblade war came to be and how it will tie into the main story I was more disappointed on back cover rather than on 0.2. (really sounds bad lol) 1 CriticalAssension reacted to this
Awesome Sauce 634 Posted January 17, 2017 As nice as 0.2 and all of the info Back Cover gives are, I feel that they woul'dve been better off by being included in KH3 instead of a separate release.
Isaix 924 Posted January 17, 2017 Well KH3D is nothing new,0.2 is a short demo and Back Cover is based of the mobile game,my expectation were very low from the start.I'm still gonna get it because KH3D looks fun and I want to see what happens in 0.2 and Back Cover to be up to date with KH3. sagman12PC 280 Posted January 17, 2017 Like others have said 0.2 was meant to be a sneak peak into KH3's mechanics/engine. Kinda of like episode duscae with FFXV. Now i am HOPING that Nomura gathers feedback from the community that played 0.2 to improve KH3, something that Tabata did alot with XV's development
RikuFangirl2008 1,368 Posted January 17, 2017 (edited) Not really, as much I wanted to know what's in the box through Back Cover. Pretty much, I've been mindblowned again anyways. I guess maybe it's too soon to know what's in the box. Other than that, it's great to see what will KH3 will look like when it comes out. For 15 years, the Kingdom Hearts Series has grown beautifully. That's good enough for me. Edited January 17, 2017 by RikuFangirl2008
WilliamNiira 34 Posted January 17, 2017 I never really had high expectations on 0.2 since Nomura said that it wasn't going to be a long game. I was never thinking that it would be a whole new game that would take 50 hours and contain a huge amount of plot points. I have high expectations on KH3 though. In the meanwhile I'll play 0.2 as a reminder of how KH3 will, kind of, be like. Hopefully we wont have to wait five years for it to release though. I was just hoping the plot would be more in the present instead of giving us events that lead into kh1. Like all we learned outside of the endings was that aqua was lonely and mickey found aqua only to get his shirt ripped off.
palizinhas 102 Posted January 17, 2017 0.2 and BC went on different levels of disappointment for me. BC disappointed because it revealed NOTHING and I was really excited for it and that... Kinda dragged it down a lot for me. The last time we see any Foreteller is in a scene all the words of were already revealed in chi/khux. Like. Why. 0.2, on the other hand, was great when Aqua was suffering through the world, and when she first met Mickey. But the moment they tried to connect to KH1 directly and reveal stuff it just kinda... Fell apart to me. "Aqua was there, Riku just didn't hear her voice even though she screamed because... reasons".

He might have heard the voice but didn't recognize it, or probably was more focused on Sora and Kairi.
KingdomHearts3 2,591 Posted January 17, 2017 I thought it filled its role as a final chapter prologue. I loved every minute of it all.
Shimmy 458 Posted January 17, 2017 My expectations weren't particularly high considering 3D is itself a rather short game, 0.2 was meant to be short, and I assumed that BC wouldn't be over an hour+ at most. It seems rather fun though as 3D's controls were always fun to mess around with. I can admit I was hoping for a wee bit more foreteller content, but I'm alright with waiting. Overall it's just about what I expected it to be so can't say I was disappointed. Graphics were beautiful tho
