Sarrin 100 Posted January 16, 2017 Should be straight forward lol this thread is fo us to talk about and tell people about our favorite characters we created it should also be mentioned that if your story is a fan fic you cant choose you own version of that original stories character for example your version of sora may be cool but give us something that is 100% your creation I guess I'll get us started it should come as no surprise that my characters are in fact from the book I'm featuring on here, Gilgamesh Thanatos though I dove way more in him as a developing character in the second book and covered much of his back story as well, this was such a fun person to create what he can do how he acts, crazy awesome MAJOR SPOILER Gilgamesh Thanatos got his name from both of his parents Gilgamesh from his father as a surname but used as his first and Thanatos is from his mother and if noticed my tip of the har to mythology every so often you might be able to guess just who his mother is! Gilgamesh is also the only Character who might get his own spinoff series to go deeper into his insane life Another character I'm crazy about is Sophira see this is where i get less explained theres not much in her background considering her age group with the rest of her cast but the life and challenges i built for her the things she goes through and overcomes impossible odds shes so powerful there were many moments in my head i could compare to Gilgamesh. Definitely wouldn't reveal any spoilers about this badass
Veemon 1,540 Posted January 16, 2017 I, uh, have this one... The name's Astron. He doesn't know what his age is, but his appearance is of a teen/young adult human. When in his human form, he's got mild-blue hair. He doesn't have a physical weapon, but he is able to summon weapons that he sees, as solid holographic forms, with a slight cost. He's pretty quiet, but has a heart for the safety of others: even if some won't listen to him. He sometimes has visions of future events, only when they are ones that foretell a bad future that will occur soon. I'll be honest, the name Astron was just a name I came up with for a mythological demi-god project back in 5th grade. I guess it just stuck with me all these years and had a nice ring to it. It just so happens that Astron's name sounds like astro, or asteroid, something to do with space and the stars. Rock on! 1 Sarrin reacted to this
Philip Ellwell 5,487 Posted January 16, 2017 Mine's definitely Cody Hatson, a character I made up mostly for rping, but might use for some stories at some point. His backstory's a bit fluid, to work with rps better, but it's mostly that he's the son of the Mad Hatter, and was exiled as an infant for reasons unknown. He's 22, tall, thin, and had blue hair with blonde in it, because he's too lazy to redye it. He's got some magic, but it's highly uncontrolled, and mostly dormant: the only real connection he has to his father is a love of hats, and hatred of cold tea. Fairly eccentric, he drinks a lot of teas, and only eats bread and butter for lunch. That's all that's set in stone for him, because, like I said, his character is fluid, to be changed slightly for different rp's, but I liked the idea of a person somehow having this fantastical person for a parent, and never knowing it, since they're fairly normal themselves, and are just going about their days unaware of this other world they're apart of, without knowing it. My second favorite is Miles Abernathy, from a book i'm writing. He's pretty much a cliched upper crust Victorian man, with a huge rebellion streak to him, making him go across the sea just to get away from a demanding father, and pushover mother merely going along with anything his father says. He's 23, going on 24, and acts much older, being serious too much of the time to be any fun, with only the odd laidback moment, not uncommon to men of the time. He's going to America, from Ireland, to supposedly go to a men's finishing school, which he's actually running away from to start a business with his lover. This got long. Yeah, anyway, those are my two favorites. They just seemed better fleshed out than other rp/story characters I've created. 1 Sarrin reacted to this
