Stardustblade358 806 Posted January 10, 2017 I saw the Assassin's Creed movie...and then I have begun to replay all of the games over again. And I think it's been a while since anyone's tried an Assassin's Creed RP, so hear me out. This is the story:You have received an E-mail, from none other than Abstergo Industries, saying that you have been selected for an exclusive trial for a brand new unreleased technology, promising you not just to try it out, but also financial benefits for your trouble. For whatever reason, you decide to go. You arrive at the city's Abstergo HQ, where you encounter others who have received the same exact e-mail. As you led deeper into the building, you are explained that there won't be a trial, at least, not a trial that you expect. You have all been selected because you are direct descendants of those who once took part of an unknown journey, and became part of a group known as the Knights of Eden. From the scriptures that have been recovered, it is said that these Knights went on a journey to recover some pieces of Eden, and save the world from a much too early end. You are the descendants of these Knights, and whether you like it or not, you will help Abstergo discover the story through the use of the Animus. These strangers will now become your friends, and the more you all learn, the more you will realize the danger of these memories. Would you agree with Abstergo's goals, or take it upon yourselves to save the world, once like your ancestors did before? You would have two characters: Your modern time character and your ancestor Knight character. Both can come from different backgrounds, from Assassins, or Templars, or neither. You will RP as your modern characters outside of the animus, and as your ancestors while the inside of the Animus, and controls will be switched back and forth in and out of the animus to give a chance for development of both. The enemy would be a branch separate from Templars and Assassins that have their own agenda, and they will be known as The Pawns of Eve. I have suggested the following Eras for the RP: Third Crusade (1189 - 1192) = The timeline which the first Assassin's Creed takes place in. It was the attempt of European leaders trying to take over the Holy Land from Saladin. It would take place across the Kingdom and the cities of Acre, Jerusalem, Damascus, Arsuf, and other sites. The Renaissance (14th - 17th) = The timeline which Assassin's Creed 2 takes place in. It would take place across Italy, an era full of aristocrats, parties, sinful endeavors, and betrayal. Colonial Era (North America) = The timeline which Assassin's Creed 3 takes place in. It would take place mainly across the first 13 colonies, and as the story goes, will expand to other more specific locations. Colonial Era (Caribbean) = The timeline which Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag place in. It would take place all across the Caribbean, in different islands, and you will all be given a ship (The Aras) to travel on. Other = If there is a time period you would think interesting to try, please tell me! So yeah. That's finally out of my system. Please comment, or not. I don't know how many of you would be interested in Assassin's Creed, so here it is. I think it would be fun.

Vaude 536 Posted January 15, 2017 I've long been into Assassin's Creed -- falling in love with the opening trailer for the first game, could you believe it -- so I would be up for this as well. The Third Crusade and the Renaissance eras were my favourites of the series and where I am most knowledgeable of the series. This premise looks intriguing, and if you make this sometime count me in. A few questions, if I may. Would your anticipated plot fit better with only Assassins or a mix of Templars and Assassins? Also, are the modern characters essentially going to be in separate Animus rooms or will they be in a collective room with several Animus units? I personally love the idea of everyone being in one room, waking up at the same time and sharing thoughts between sessions, though Abstergo will have to be very cautious and potentially limit the modern characters. I look forward to your response and to this RP should it branch out from thought and into reality!

I'm thinking that the plot would do good with a mix of Assassins, Templars and other affiliations (thieves, courtesans, etc.), seeing as there are possibilities to many different backgrounds that you can apply to your characters. Regardless of affiliation they'll all be dragged along for the ride of the plot. 2. They would all be in a collective room with several Animus units, as to allow Abstergo to "stitch" all of their memories together of the same event from different perspectives. When the day is done they'd be sent to individual rooms with a 'flaw' that would allow them to interact even after lights out underneath Abstergo's noses. Vaude 536 Posted January 15, 2017 Both sound perfect for me. The first instance is a clever blending of the protagonists, antagonists, and side characters. As for the second, perhaps my favourite feature of the first game is how one can travel outside of the normal bounds and discover small secrets piecemeal through e-mails and the like, but with other people and each sharing their thoughts and discoveries privately? Talk about intrigue! Yup, I'm definitely joining should I see the RP.
