Clouded Sun 1,232 Posted January 14, 2017 (edited) -------------------------------------------------- Onto the bridge - Escape from the City -------------------------------------------------- Yuna's tight grip on Sol's shirt caused a bead of sweat to trickle his forehead, as his breath became heavy and short. The mechs were close, and he felt they sensed the presence of him and the group. The clash between Zion, Eclaire, and the two large mechs raged on only blocks away from the bridge - luckily, even though the risk was greater, it'd be easier to get across so long as Zion and Eclaire held the front down over near the bridge. Leaping from the buildings, the group finally ended near South Stern Bridge, the way out of Kalace and to refuge. The bridge was littered with cars and other automobiles, trashed, skewed and abandoned on the side of the road. Sol let Yuna down from his arms, taking a moment to rest, then pressing onwards without a word, the rush of thoughts combing through his mind. The nightmares he'd had lately... The Baroque and the Cors, Kalace... All of it just seemed to vanish through the endless lucid night. It fogged his mind. He thought of home... Of running away again from his fears. From his demons. The sickening thoughts festered and bred, constantly, and endlessly as he trudged through the end of Kalace. The mechs had to have been orchestrated. They didn't care to follow the group out of their way to Corbenik, and they cocked their heads as if they were invisible. Corbenik came into sight, nearly a ways across the bridge. The civilians of Kalace had set up a defense front behind the bridge, and evacuation teams bellowed as the gargantuan doors open and closed. "Aye! That should be th' last of 'em!" An evacuation group ahead heaved several injured Toria and Ryuh, taking one last glance towards the city. "ID?" An evacuation member ordered. Sol reached for his phone, scanning his fingerprint on an app and raising the screen towards him. "They're with me." He coarsely added, his words sounding like they traveled through heavy cream. The evacuation worker snapped a picture of the ID, then went over to a police chief, who seemed to grunt in response. The evacuation worker retuned. "You can pass. Get a move on." "There are two more heading this way from the city. They're with me too." He said to the worker, passing by and entering the opening gates. Sol beckoned the others. "I have a... person... That'll help us through Corbenik. We'll be able to get a place to stay, along with Zion and Eclaire. We'll be able to relax, and talk things out. Looks like there's no turning back now. We're heading out." Edited January 14, 2017 by Clouded Sun 1 Nero Kunivas reacted to this
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted January 14, 2017 =Dalian, Evacuation Group= Dalian was basically a panting mess by the time they reached the evacuation camp. She really should have just used her mechs...but then the people here would think she was one of those creepy robots. A gut-retching realization came to her head. She wasn't in Kalace anymore. The technology was no longer as advanced as she was used to. She almost screamed. Dalian has always been so used to advanced technology. What was she going to do. "Is everyone okay?" she asked the main group, knowing they probably weren't, at all.
Saber Lily 1,543 Posted January 14, 2017 https://youtu.be/oue72huh_Jo Tsukuyomi held fast, but more were coming, threatening to overrun them. But then Eclaire stopped chanting, and Zion smiled. She strengthened her stance and took a long, deep breath. Gathering her energy for the next move. "You will have a fourth of a second after launch to ensure the area is evacuated." "Fourth? Clary, you're giving me a lot of time. I could stop for coffee." "Remember I like plenty of whipped cream, mother." "And mint, I know." Zion followed the cracks, waiting. "In Paradisum, Fifth Configuration - Storm of Spears." Her spear suddenly glowed and multiplied, soon dozens of identical Spears floating in midair. To those who knew if the fabled God-Slaying Spear, Fifth Configuration was weak. It fractioned it's power to create more weapons...but what many failed to realize was the potential many weapons could hold. Eclaire's white Valkyrie wing and black Succubus wing flared out, and a massive Magic Circle appeared behind her. "Seventh Seal of the Goddess - Light: Ruination of a False Sovereign." Zion's own wings flared, then glowed, an aurora of light flowing from her wings. "Goddess Seal Lightspeed: True Light's Flight." Suddenly Zion faded..or, more specifically, her after image faded. The real Zion was off and speeding through the area, then skidded to a deift-turn as many points of light appeared across their foes - Radiant Marking, one of her simplest yet most useful team abilities. She let the drift maintain speed, then shot off, clearing any civilians still in the line of fire to the bridge. Her clothes degraded at such high speeds, mostly because she still wasn't a master of this seal. But, by the time she skidded to a stop, a dozen people stood shakily at the threshold of the bridge...as bolts of divine lightning lances at each spear, driving each at a target at the speed of sound. Shock waves shattered windows, before the simple force of the impact crushed robot and building alike, creating a sound boom explosion as before the demigod, the hostiles crumpled under her might...but Eclaire wavered, and began to fall. Goddess Seals took a lot of out anyone who wasn't anyone trained god...meaning Zion has to catch her daughter. Knowing she'd never hear the end if it, Zion quickly kissed Eclaire, letting her daughter's succubus side feed. Soon Eclaire's eyes opened. "..." "Clary no!" BONK...nope. Zion felt her hat removed and...a very intimate headpat. She smiled. "You haven't worked on your energy." Eclaire said nothing. She just stood and fussed with Zion, dusting and wiping her off. The role reversal was annyoing, but Zion couldn't really complain. It was just something Eclaire did. Soon piggybacked on her taller daughter, Zion passed out from exhaustion as Eclaire trooped across the bridge with the handful or survivors left, aiming to find the others. The other Valkyrie-Succubus would probably be best for Zion, though the green Paladin could help ease her pain. Both would help Zion both physically and mentally. "Nn...stop worrying...Clary..." Zion murmured in her sleep. Eclaire sighed. She couldn't. Not when Zion still hurt. 2 Nero Kunivas and Clouded Sun reacted to this
Yessie Maltese 1,564 Posted January 14, 2017 ~Yuna and Corvus~ ~Escape from the city~ As Sol put her down, Yuna looks at Kalace, shattered by the Mechs. She looks down sadly as the destruction continues. She then looks at one of the evacuation members, ordered Sol for His ID. "Papa... Please be okay..." She said quietly as she started to cry quietly. While the evacuation group was getting everyone to safety, Corvus was with his mother who is crying. He hugs his mother and comfort her. "It's gonna be okay. we can get through this." He said as he stroke her head softly. He then saw an old man (Cielo) who was injured badly and seems to having a hard time to breath.
Shulk 8,623 Posted January 14, 2017 Rose and Fiora Before the group left, Rose was relieved to see that everyone seemed okay. She nodded in response to Sol's question and Zion's request. "I'll stick around as long as you all need me. If anyone ever gets hurt, let me know." Fiora was confused by Zion seemingly knowing her. Have I met this woman before...? She wondered to herself for a moment. It seemed like the group was going to evacuate, and Fiora decided to stay with them. She didn't know if she'd be much help, but she didn't want to go all alone. The two traveled with the rest of the group to their new destination. Rose had needed some assistance with traveling, although her light armor did make her more versatile than she might have seemed to the others. Fiora, on the other hand, was nimble and got around with ease. Rose was grateful that no one was injured on the trip; it gave her some time to rest and hopefully recharge her energy just a little bit. Going further away from the city could help with that, too. However, she could see that some of her new acquaintances were understandably upset after this whole ordeal. She was as well, but she was capable of keeping that hidden for now. She took it upon herself to try and keep morale up a little bit. Fiora, on the other hand, decided to stay towards the back of the group. Being late to arrive, she felt a bit like an outsider. It also didn't help that she managed to notice that at least one of her new companions was a succubus; she was sure to keep her distance from that one. She was lost in her own thoughts; Sol said that they would soon have a place to stay for a while, but she had no clue what to do now. Her home and everything that she'd spent half of her life working towards was now gone. She couldn't go back to her father and his new partner, and she didn't know how she could manage to salvage a stable life on her own again. She barely managed to keep herself together so the others couldn't tell, but she was terrified... Upon the return of Zion and Eclaire, Rose ran over to the two. "Do you need any help...? I'm the group healer now, I suppose. I can take care of her for you, and you too if you need any help," she offered. Rose was at least relieved that the two were still alive, but they weren't in great shape.
Clouded Sun 1,232 Posted January 15, 2017 (edited) -Sol - Evacuation- In response to Dalian's question, Sol stated "I'm doing fine. I hope you are. Don't push yourself." Sol looked down to Zion, whome Eclaire had heaved on her back. Rose made their way to the pair, who didn't seem on the verge of death, but in really bad shape. "This'll pass." Sol tried to console the two, his voice cracking slightly as he said it, but hat no idea what to say. The sight of them was a bit too much to bear, so he turned away. An old man came into Sol's line of view, with Corvus rushing to his aid. Blood dripped down his side, staining his shirt as medical units tried to patch him up, albeit temporary. Sol began to step closer... "-all packed! Every single hospital in the city!" one of the medical infantrymen cried, working vigorously to restore the life of the man. "You think it's about his time?" the second man questioned, trying to get the old man stable. "Don't say that, man! We got this, I hope..." Sol looked to Corvus, then looked back to the old man. He was a Toria... a kitsune at that. That'd mean... it could just be a coincidence... Sol looked to Yuna ghastly, afraid of her response. Hoping it had to be a coincidence. Hoping everything would be alright. Edited January 15, 2017 by Clouded Sun 1 Yessie Maltese reacted to this
Zack1187 34 Posted January 15, 2017 -Iris - Evacuation- Iris took in a deep breath, as she stretched, before letting it out once she finished. Her face had a rather tired look to it. "I'm not feeling too good after all that. I'm in serious need of getting over... or under someone. So, other than being mildly tired, and annoyed I'm fine. Or, I should be after I get that taken care of." Iris replied to Dalian's question, before she huffed, before looking to Eclaire, and Zion. "Man, you two took one hell of a beating... Pretty selfless." Iris said, before her eyes narrowed in annoyance. "Morons." She said, before glaring at Hanz, remembering his stupid, selfless act. Iris simply shook her head once again, and looked towards the sky, with an annoyed groan. These people were going to be the death of her. 1 Clouded Sun reacted to this
Yessie Maltese 1,564 Posted January 15, 2017 ~Yuna and Corvus~ ~Evacuation~ she looks around to find her father and was shocked as she sees him, injured badly as the medical infantrymen and Corvus were trying to help him. His left hip and his chest were wounded. "PAPA!!!" She cried. She rushed towards him and cry quietly. Corvus was worried about Cielo, hoping he doesn't die. "Hang in there, sir!" He comfort him as he helps the medical infantrymen to save his life. Cielo breathes heavily as he placed his hand on Yuna's cheek. He smiles weakly at her. "Yuna.... Nero Kunivas 3,046 Posted January 15, 2017 - The Witch and The Reaper - Evacuation - With the Witch in tow, The Reaper made the jump with everyone else and proceeded to South Stern Bridge, Corbenik in sight as they walked to the massive doors that would seal off the Ruins of Kalace. Sol ensured the Evac Officers knew that the group was sticking together, so Lucia and her servant were able to walk with them without a word, though she did look back, eyeing a few more people in the distance approaching, one was piggybacking the other, surely the Divine Duo, she thought. This proved true as they all regrouped, Zion appearing extremely worn out from their battle with the synthetic beings. Things in general weren't looking much better, what with an elderly man appearing to be Yuna's father bleeding to death with seemingly no hope of survival, as Paramedics could only do so much here and the Hospitals were overflowing with injured and dead. The Reaper was unable to form a facial expression, but his general look conveyed a solemn feeling at this sight. He would kill a thousand men to defend his mistress, but a father leaving this realm and her daughter alone...the scrapping of these machines suddenly seemed like a very good prospect. The Witch on the other hand, wasn't really looking at the dying man, she was more focused on both what lay ahead for them and the Divine Duo, though Fiora caught her eye, oh she did indeed. A rather nubile, innocent girl she was, but she sensed a distrust of her species from her seemingly avoiding casting an eye on Lucia, unlike on everyone else. "Oh well. There's always others...Zion's sexier anyway." The Witch thought to herself, choosing not to speak aloud. - Invidia Reyes, "Archangel" - Evacuation - His assistance was not required, so Archangel made the jump from the building, easing the impact by immediately Wraith Forming, seeming to splatter into a mass of dark smoke before travelling a small distance, reforming into normal as he did, taking an unflinching walk with the others towards the Evacuation Gates and from there, their destination: Corbenik. Undoubtedly, the technology would not be as advanced, but that didn't matter, at least they would be alive. The Officers recognized him by his Armour and gave salute-like waves to him, his killing of immoral scumbags something that was seemingly applauded. He merely gave a respectful nod back to them and passed with the group. The Machine Attack was orchestrated, it had to be and one way or another, contract or no, Archangel would kill the man, woman or group responsible for this act of terror. The ongoing death of Yuna's Father was difficult for Invidia to watch, turning his head away due to the deathly reminder of his past, doing his best to keep his cool, lest he spend his hours weeping when he could be doing something productive. The assassin figured that, sooner or later, as he spent time with these people, being anonymous wouldn't be possible as they'd want to know their, potentially by that time, comrade's name. He wasn't going to leave them anytime soon, but that mask would become uncomfortable as time passed. He would keep it on however, more so with these Succubi lurking around. Invidia valued his life energy, having it sucked out of him would put a dampener on his day for sure, though he didn't dislike them, far from it, he just knew they would need to feed soon. Zack1187 34 Posted January 15, 2017 -Iris - Evacuation- Iris merely shrugged, with a light pink blush on her cheeks, as she looked away from Zion, she frowned at the sight of Yuna, and her father, before her thoughts went back to the Goddess, that was, rather annoyingly, patting her on the head. "I wasn't worried, it's just stupid to be selfless. You should only do things for yourself, or else it isn't worth it." Iris replied with a slightly annoyed tone. Before she looked back at Zion, and smiled at the Goddess brightly, as her eyes sparkled. "But, I am glad you're back, because my legs hurt, think you could carry me please?" Iris asked, with a slight pout to her voice, looking as sweet and innocent as possible. There was something about Zion that reminded Iris of other girls, at least, the ones she actually cared about, and she didn't like it. But, Iris was tired, so she would ignore that for now. Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted January 15, 2017 - Hanz Arstor - Evacuation - It didn't take long for everyone to be let through the gates, as Sol gave them some help in that. Everyone was allowed through, mostly by looks alone. Except for Hanz. Who was approached by some survivors, who recognized him, from the bounty board on the city, he was on almost every bounty board in the continent now by his actions against the gods, and this man was a bounty hunter. albeit a scrawny and weak looking one at that. "Its you ain't it? Oh I know you, Phantom of Rinde" THe man spoke, unsheating a machete alongside some other men he had gathered. While the others headed on ahead Hanz was glad nobody noticed this. It would make him seem like an arse. "you really wanna do this now? The city's falling apart and you want a bloody bounty?" Hanz asked the man, with disgust in his voice as he adjusted his fedora. "Why not? we're safe...you're not" THe man spoke, stepping forward, "Surrender now and I won't ki-" His threat was interrupted by a punch in the throat by Hanz, which staggered the man as he almost fell on the ground. Hanz stood there, gesturing him to get back up as he did so and charged at him, slashed his machete at Hanz. Hanz simply blocked the machete with his arm, the machete was stuck on half of Hanz's arm, as he stared the bounty hunter down. "Let me tell you this, you are very lucky I am accompanied right now, otherwise you would be dead" Hanz spoke with a Death glare as the bounty hunter weeped, as he simply headbutted him to unconciousness...and forgot he had a machete sticking out of his arm until he actually caught up with the others. "I know you're a partly succubus, but now's not the time for innuendos. Not while an old man is dying." Hanz spoke as he walked into the scene, with a god damn machete sticking out of his arm. He totally forgot he had a machete in it, it didn't hurt at all, and the would was already healed, it was just...there. on his left arm. Noticing hit and nonchalantly pulling it out and throwing it away as he looked at Iris, ZIon , Eclaire and the others. The sight of the old man's dying words was tough for him to look. His repressed feelings were actualy surging a bit. But not much. "Yet you're still tagging along with us, instead of going off your own way." Hanz commented to Iris's selfish statement. As he walked around the group, until he stopped beside Dalian and Invidia. "Well, the horrors of war..." He commented lastly. 1 Nero Kunivas reacted to this
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted January 15, 2017 =Dalian, Evacuation= As Dalian heard what Iris said, she took a rather big step away from Iris. As Hanz approached, Dalian waved to him, welcoming the idiot back....her wave then quickly turned into a look of shock as she noticed what was in his arm...and he just pulled it out...and threw it away. "What the hell was that?!" her face agape. "You just pulled a damn machete out of your arm and did your crazy stunt back there, you are crazy." her face was actually rather serious as she said this to Hanz. On the other hand, Dailan could not face Cielo. She did not know the man, but just with someone dying there, she couldn't pay attention to it.
Nero Kunivas 3,046 Posted January 15, 2017 - Invidia Reyes, "Archangel" - Evacuation - "Bounty Hunters...tch." Archangel commented to himself in a spiteful tone. Bounty Hunters were the bottom feeders of the world, seeking the money and nothing more, regardless of the current situation, who has the bounty on their head or how they get it. They had no morals, no honour, nothing resembling integrity, so Hanz scaring them and headbutting the lead hunter was immensely satisfying to observe. Dailan's comment on Hanz's...interesting nature, was not unheard by Invidia, who merely smirked behind his helmet. "Crazy, yeah...but damned brilliant." He noted with a tone that suggested he was impressed, then he turned his eye to the discarded Machete. "Huh. Damned thing's blunt anyway, he couldn't have killed a wild boar, let alone The Phantom of Rinde. Idiot." Invidia dismissively spoke of the Bounty Hunter and his poor choice of weapon, followed by him looking to the fedora-wearing gentlemen. "You handle people like him pretty well." He complimented, then realized something. "Oh, I'm Archangel, by the way. You may know me, or not, I'm an Assassin, but I only take jobs that rid the world of awful people, scum, you know. I know you're The Phantom of Rinde, but, I didn't catch your name." Archangel kindly introduced himself, albeit only with his Assassin Alias, taking a more welcoming stance. 1 Scrapmaster reacted to this
Saber Lily 1,543 Posted January 15, 2017 Zion swept Iris off her feet. "A life of selfishness is a life without kindness. And a life without kindness is one that will end with regrets." She sighed softly. "I do what I do because helping people is my thing. Someone has to...or else, we will have no more heroes." She smirked. "And you know you wouldn't want a world without heroes. Zack1187 34 Posted January 15, 2017 -Iris - Evacuation- "Awe, you called me beautiful." Iris said, as she snuggled up against Zion, wrapping her arms around the Goddess' neck, before she frowned, and leaned her head against her. "I know it's selfish, and I understand where you're coming from but... What about how you feel? If you're just running around, being everyone else's hero, what about you, or... me? It seems like a waste to spend time chasing everyone else's problems when more important things could literally be right under your nose. I'm not saying to stop, but... be careful stupid." Iris said, before she let out a quiet, and cute yawn, as her eyes shut from exhaustion. "Ima sleep now... Don't drop me please." Iris said, before she drifted off to sleep. Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted January 15, 2017 (edited) - Hanz Artstor - Ain't having this 'Tomorrow' shit - Hanz was honestly saddened by the death of the old man. Like everyone else, even though Hanz lacked the expressions to show, apparently sadness and anguish were extremely rare for him. He didn't quite know why. However anger was known by him, very well in fact, especially when someone acted in such a way the bouncer acted. Hanz was standing idly with the others following Sol, however when that bounced mouthed the word 'we'l take care of him tomorrow'. Hanz quickly stepped into the scene, gently putting his hands on Sol's right shoulder to gesture the boy to move aside a bit. As Hanz faced the bouncer. "I'd appreciate if you could take care of it...now" The moment Hanz said 'now' an air of pure dread began to fill the area, the bouncer probably shook in his boots from the sight, as probably did everyone else from the sudden presence shift, showing a bit of Hanz's dark side so to speak, not only that but Hanz's face flickered like that of an apparition. faded and distorted for a second, before turning back to normal. "I'd be a shame if something were to happen to you because you neglected a customer...wouldn't it?" Hanz added. with the same tone of dread as last time. THe sudden atmosphere stopped, as it went back to normal, Hanz simply smirked for a second, before adjusting his fedora. "Would you kindly do us a favor?" Hanz asked nicely this time. Cielo's ears fell limp and tail was stiff. Corvus and Sol were shaken by the sight of Yuna's sobbing, broken heart. The paramedics shook their head to Yuna, as Sol reached to the old man, closing his eyelids. He heaved Cielo up, weakly, then said "Let's go" with an exasperated croak. Sol walked tiredly to a hotel down the main street of Corbenik. It's dimming neon light barely showcased the word "Nox Poetis." He entered the revolving hotel doors, then spoke to one of the bouncers, who knew what was going on immediately. "Hey, can I talk to your manager?" Looking to Yuna, he added, "And... uh, if she's alright with it... I'd like him cleaned up..." Turning back to the bouncer, he said "We'll take care of him tomorrow." ~Yuna and Corvus~ ~Evacuation~ As Cielo tragically Passed away, Yuna begin to sobs loudly as covered her face with her hands. "Papa...." Corvus goes to her and helps her up. "I'm really sorry about this...." He said. Yuna shook her head. "It's not your fault...." they followed Sol to the hotel called Nox Poetis. After that, Yuna nods to him.
Clouded Sun 1,232 Posted January 15, 2017 ------------------------------ Nox Poetis, Corbenik - Sanctuary ------------------------------ Taking Cielo in his arms, the bouncer felt the chill of the air run down his spine. "Y-you see, sir, what I meant-t was, we'll, uh..." Sol began, "Hanz... I know where you're coming from... But a proper burial would be best for tomorrow. Yuna deserves to say goodbye. They'll give Cielo's body a place to stay for the night. I know the person who runs it here. She'll-" "Do what it takes to preserve your friend." A girl with large hoop earrings, tight shortened jeans, and a bold expression talked from behind Sol. "Trust me, I promise... he'll rest in peace." She said, sadly." When Sol turned around, the girl's expression brightened. "Sol? Is that you?" she asked, her eyes widening and tears forming. Her voice sounded worried, and her eyes gave a longing expression to the long lost friend. Sol tried to turn away, but her captivating looked stunned him. "Hey, Elise." "Sol, are you okay? Are you hurt?! My gosh, what happened in Kalace?" She placed her arms on Sol's shoulders., facing him directly. "It was only downtown. I'm just a bit tired." "I- is there anything I can do to help?" Sol replied "I just need a room for my..." Sol looked to Hanz, Dalian, Yuna and the others. These guys were willing to risk a limb and tail for each other, for him. They were complete strangers, but they had each other's backs. Especially Hanz and Zion, their selflessness helping everyone get out atlive. They were comrades, and they were Sol's "...friends." He said, turning back to Elise. "I just need a room. I don't have much money, and don't want to take too mu-" "Hush." Elise placed her finger on Sol's lips. To the group, she said, "Down the hall there are the elevators. Take 'em to floor 15. They're the luxury rooms. Take however many you'd like. And... try to relax." She said, eyeing Lucia and Pumpkin Head slightly as she said so. Sol took Elise's arms off his shoulders, then said, "Thanks, I owe you one..." Sol turned to the rest of the group. "Before we head off to bed, I just wanna talk really quick." "Good night, Sol." Elise said. Sol replied with a short "Yeah," then headed down the main reception. Sol led the group towards the elevators of Nox Poetis. The hallway, although less technologically bedazzled than Kalace's, Baroque, still maintained an elegant look. Neon bars of light hummed quietly, tracing midway across the walls of the hall. Plant pots gave a more natural asthetic to the hall, lined every 10 feet or so away from each other. Elevators next to it maintained a more classic looking design, with a simple digital display lit to signal the floor the elevator was on. Sol tapped the bar-like "UP" button on the elevator a couple times, and six elevators opened their doors along the walls. Sol led the group to floor 15, the door to the apartments bringing back solemn memories. A gentle creak sounded, as Sol pushed open the apartment doors. It was less than small, for a hotel, spanning three gigantic beds, a television, and drawers, all fancy and exquisite and decorated with artificial plants and a smell of honey vanilla. Sol took his seat on a middle bed, waiting for the others to file in, and saying "I guess it's time to explain a couple things... isn't it?"
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted January 15, 2017 =Dalian, hotel room= Dalian strolled into the room, kind of hopping in there. She hadn't seen a place so extravagant in a while. There was even a laptop in the room! She was saved! Dalian couldn't help but look out the window. "Wow! You can see everything from here!!" she then admired...but sighed halfway through, "Everything as in absolutely nothing; downtown is destroyed so bad.". Dalian sat in front of the laptop, in the extremely comfy chair, starting the computer up without touching it. Technology Manipulation was the best thing ever. "We all have explaining to do." Dalian added behind Sol, beginning to connect the phone to the laptop.
Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted January 15, 2017 - Hanz Arstor - The Luxury Apartment room - "Fine" Hanz spoke with a growl at Sol telling him to stop threatening the bouncer, almost sure he'd be banned off the hotel now, except he didn't. A friend of Sol's allowed them up to the luxury rooms, awfuly kind of her. No matter, Hanz, being the gentleman he was tipped his had with a smile towards the woman. As they entered the levator Hanz felt uneasy, he hated elevators, like, really hated them for some reason. Mostly because he could fly limited distances but that was not the case now. But all of his worries were washed away the moment he stepped into the apartment. Beautiful design, beds, artificial plants, a nice view of the...now destroyed downtown, Hanz moved himself towards a comfortable chair, sitting down and relaxing as the others spoke. IT was time to get to know each other better, that was for sure. "Well It wouldn't hurt to know each other better...who will speak first I wonder?" Hanz spoke with a playful smirk on his face. Shulk 8,623 Posted January 15, 2017 Rose Rose went to heal the old man at Zion's insistence, only to find that she was too late. Another one she couldn't save... Rose had been in similar situations too many times to count. She could never get used to it, though. If I'd been a little faster... Then maybe... She shook her head. This was no time for self-doubt. The group was now preparing to move out again, and she'd need to be alert and ready if an emergency came up. She followed the group to the hotel. I swear... I'll help avenge the losses of these innocent lives. The room was nice; far nicer than the one she'd stayed in during her time in Kalace. Still, it did little to put her at ease. She took a seat on a chair, listening to the others. It seemed like it was time to discuss plans, and Sol seemed to have something on his mind. Fiora Fiora also entered the hotel room, sitting down on one of the open beds once she'd taken a look around. She stared at her lap, too afraid and nervous to look anyone else in the eye. This room was a lot nicer than her apartment, but it wasn't the same. Her shoulders sunk, and she struggled to look calm. She was still unsure of what she'd do after this...
