Clouded Sun 1,232 Posted January 9, 2017 (edited) --------------------------------------------------------The Battle for Downtown Kalace - Shattered-------------------------------------------------------- Hanz's blast created an extraordinary amount of force, destroying the Baroque, protecting the others from the flaming building, and guarding the Cors. In addition, people had successfully evacuated and sought refuge in West Side or East Side Kalace, or traveled further south to the city of Corbenik, where families would reunite and head home. Everything began to calm... Or so they thought. The Baroque, a symbol of peace, prosperity, and the resilience of the people, was in shambles. The young fighters were exasperated. Amidst the rubble, the Cors was nowhere to be found. Research notes, important information, and the cube all remained absent from the scene. And, among all, the machines continued to raid the rest of downtown Kalace, turning the district into rubble. The army that lie in wait was extremely great, and even stronger units than those that invaded the Baroque tore the city apart.A utopia was shattered. Sol couldn't believe what the hell just happened.Leaping off of the mechanic girl's body, he managed to squeak out a "Thanks, Dali...", trailing off as he spoke the words, and numbly watching his city crumble. The deafening sound of a city in ruin seemed like silence. It was an unbelievable sight. What was only hours ago a prosperous city were the ruins of hell.Sol slowly craned his head towards where the Baroque once stood, witnessing Hanz barely able to move after the blast, with rubble and dust collapsed around him. Zion had protected him in part, but he was still barely able to lift his own finger. The robotic mechs littered the entire ground around him, where severed parts collected. Somehow, these people Sol barely knew carried weight on his chest. He shouldered responsibility for their burdens. And it was an extremely difficult sight to witness. After the onslaught, there was no other option but escape from Downtown Kalace. The rest of the city was sure to put up its defenses by now, with an army at standby.Refuge was the only option... The group remained with one last task... To break through to Corbenik, the closest in proximity from Downtown Kalace. Shulk 8,623 Posted January 9, 2017 Rose - Baroque Rose was once again surprised to be flung around by Zion. However, she came to appreciate it when she realized that Zion was trying to protect her. She got back up on her feet once it seemed clear. "Yes, I'm fine, thank you... Zion," she responded as she inspected her armor. Good, no serious damage... It would be a shame to damage it just after getting it. She thought that things were starting to go well... That is, until the building, and much of the town with it, was destroyed. Rose struggled to get out of the rubble left behind. She could see Sol and a few others were fine after the attack, but she still didn't know if everyone was out. "Zion, are you okay? And everyone else?" She called out, getting ready for more healing. However, looking at the ruins of the city ahead made it clear that there was still much more to do... No way... Why were those things after the Cors? She could tell that now, all they could do was pull back and join the people evacuating the city. She just hoped that the robots wouldn't come back for them. Yessie Maltese 1,564 Posted January 9, 2017 ~Yuna~ ~The Kalace - Shattered~ "Thank you, Dalian..." she said quietly as she sees the City is in ruins. Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted January 9, 2017 - Hanz Artors - Shattered Kalace - "And let you take all the spotlight?" Hanz replied to Zion, it was true, a god hating wanderer like him being an acquaintance of a goddess was a weird sight, but Hanz hated the current gods, the ones people worship and kill for. Those he hated, and Zion was mostly a new one, as such she had the benefit of the doubt when it came to him. Regardless, they've had a few run ins in the past, one trying to one up the other. Hanz had been putting up a nice competition for a long time. IT was true that Hanz was severely exhausted by the ordeal, he was not bleeding...no...he was leaking 'matter', as in his own body was dissipating due to the damage taken, but this would usualy stabilize and his body would go back to normal within moments, thought with the robots there it would be pretty hard. Annoyied at not only the fact that Kalace was almost destroyed, and that his efforts to keep them away from the Cors would be in vain, since now he had to get the hell out before he got himself into further troubles, but also the fact that these bloody robots kept on coming, he was at least somewhat satisfied that he managed to ensure everyone's safe exit...still. As Robots began to close in on him Hanz struggle to his feet. The robots, now clearly less aggressive now that he was in this weakened state...Hanz only had time to notice his hat, still somewhat in good condition on the ground next to him, stumbling towards it as he accidentaly dodged a slash from the robot. Picking it up and putting it back on his head. The robot attempted another swing, only for Hanz to wave his hand in front of the blade, as small ripples in the air began to form as they blocked the swing, not only that but the ripples formed a small shield around him, and he could feel that the blow from the slash...was partially absorbed...as energy to him. Surprised, Hanz quickly delivered a punch to the robot's face, with what little energy he had left, it was enough to shatter the robot's face and disable it. "Gosh dang it to heck!" Hanz shouted as he began a tactical retreat. It didn't take long for him to reach the others, truly, because the robots were too busy grabbing the cors to go after him, severely hurt, with matter seeping out of his wounds He couldn't bleed after all, so matter was all he had. Arriving just in time to hear Rose ask if everyone was alright. "I am...thanks for asking" Hanz spoke, with a crack in his voice as he tipped his hat. trying to act tough, but this hurt like hell. Then again he doubted Rose was profficient at regenerating living matter. Though it could numb the pain a bit. "Ugh...I believe our only course of action is a full scale retreat. The question is to where?" Hanz proposed. He glanced at Dalian, and immediately recognized her, it was that sassy girl on a bike from earlier. He not only heard a familiar voice of her calling him fedora face, but now that he saw her. "Guess your hideout's gone too...isn't it robo-girl?" Hanz spoke to her. Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted January 10, 2017 =Dalian, Outside the destroyed Baroque= "At least I got the goods out of it, Fedora Face." Dalian made a comment back to Hanz after his comment about her hideout. "You're lucky you didn't get yourself killed you idiot." she added, checking her phone. 67 missed calls. All from her mom. Gracious. Mom had probably been taken by robots now. It was probably too late. Dalian however sent a single text to her mother. "I am safe. I love you." Dalian sat down, her metal claws clinking on the concrete. "Well what do we do now." she looked to Sol and Hanz. 1 Clouded Sun reacted to this
Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) - Hanz Arstor - Snarking with Dalian - "Yeah...I can see that..." Hanz replied to Dalian, looking at her robot body, he could only think. what happened to her human one...that was probably a question for another time. Hanz leaned his back against a wall and sighed. "You're lucky I did that in the first place, I bought you guys time to get out. and I doubt your machine body unupgraded would have been fast enough to get everyone out without casualties. And by the way, my name is Hanz, just for reference." Hanz added. Before looking at Sol. "Well...you look like you know the place better than me, so where to?" He asked sol, Hanz was already easily lost, even moreso amidst chaos. Edited January 10, 2017 by Scrapmaster
Clouded Sun 1,232 Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) -Sol - Kalace (Downtown), Destroyed- Sol looked to Hanz, then to the rest of the people that worked to fight through the bots' onslaught. All eyes were on him, suddenly, and the weight became even more heavy. Sol tried to gather his thoughts for a moment, then started to speak. "If everyone evacuated right, then they should be in Corbenik, south of here." Sol began. He pointed towards the south side of Kalace. "There's a bridge that we'll run through. The trains underground should've gotten the news by now, so any way to the other parts of Kalace would take way too long. And there still are a couple mechs back there running about." Nero Kunivas 3,046 Posted January 10, 2017 - The Witch and The Reaper - Kalace, Lieth (Destroyed) - The structure of the Baroque had completely buckled and collapsed all around them, Hanz and Zion protecting themselves from the destruction, while amidst the chaos, The Reaper threw himself upon The Witch to protect her from the falling debris. As the dust settled, Hanz borderline collapsed and the flames died down, more Machines could be seen ravaging the entire city, laying waste to a once great utopia of science. The others were able to get up quickly, though it took Zion's wondering aloud where they were for The Reaper to smash out of the debris, his stance unfettered and his body no worse for wear, any surface injuries wouldn't matter later. Lucia then rose to her feet after him, dusting herself off though she stumbled a little, The Reaper ensuring she did not fall. "Are you all right?" He asked her, looking to see if anything had pierced her skin. "Fret not, I am uninjured, thanks to you." The Witch assured her servant, with him seeming relieved. "Then I have succeeded in my duty." He replied with pride, rolling his shoulders and looking around to the others. "As you always do~" A chuckle followed this statement by The Witch, who then lead her servant with her towards the small group. Business would have to be postponed in the wake of this crisis, a pity, but she would live. "Well, looks like we'll have to stick together...is that, acceptable, Little Miss Goddess? It would be a shame if we had to part after such deep chemistry was formed~" The Witch was teasing, but it was her nature, there was genuine benefit to them grouping up for the road ahead. "Simply put, we attempt to leave here as a group, our chances of survival increase. And the witless robots will be powerless to stop us." The Reaper chimed in with a more matter-of-fact statement to alleviate any conflict. -Invidia Reyes "Archangel" - Kalace, Lieth (Destroyed) - Observing the destruction of the Baroque and subsequent battles that went on across the city gave Invidia considerable pause. This utopia, once steeped in science, discovery and unity, was now a battleground of ruin and flame, with the metal war machines on their unrelenting march across the land, never stopping, showing no mercy and never feeling remorse. Assuming his Wraith Form, Archangel was able to descend from the building he was perched upon as a cloud of weightless, dark smoke, reforming once he had landed and walked into the Baroque ruins to meet up with the others, holstering his Sniper Rifle as he did. "If you're all planning to escape here, let me tag along with ya. You could use the skills I have, plus one extra person isn't a loss. No price needed, times like this call for volunteer work." Archangel spoke aloud to them all in a tone of well-earned confidence, then his stance relaxed a bit. "To be honest, I want to help...can't just stand by and do nothing, you know?" He added in a calmer, softer tone of voice, extending his arms a little to his sides as he did.
Clouded Sun 1,232 Posted January 10, 2017 -Sol - Kalace (Downtown), Destroyed- Sol looked to the man, offering his help. He said, smiling a little "Really, thanks for the help! I'm Sol." Then, to the people who looked like Halloween characters "Thanks, all of you. Sorry for dragging you into this mess" Sol shrugged, then looked again to the woman. "Hey, I was thinking..." Sol stepped a bit closer to her. He squinted slightly, as if it would draw an image, a connection for something. "Do I know you?"
Zack1187 34 Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) -Iris - Kalace(Destroyed)- Iris let out an annoyed sighed, and glared at Sol. "Ugh, fine, I'm walking too. But I swear, the second you want me to push a car, or anything more exerting than walking, or fighting, I'm out of here." Iris told him quickly, before looking around, smiling a bit that Hat-Boy had made it out. And the extra guests. Her eyes fell upon Zion, hearing her comments about her being a Hybrid, and the... Arguably strange look the Goddess had given her. "Something I could help you with?" Iris asked sweetly, dark blue eyes shining happily, before they simply turned away, losing some of their luster. "Ah, who am I kidding, I'm not in the mood. I'll get my kicks later, and from someone who I can forget about." Iris muttered to herself, as she idly fingered the engagement ring on her finger., her eyes following Sol, simply because he seemed to be the de-facto leader to their little group. Saber Lily 1,543 Posted January 10, 2017 -Zion: Two Steps from Hell- Zion looked relieved that Lucia was okay...surprisingly. "I wouldn't mind making that chemistry deeper." Zion replied to Lucia with a smile. She then looked at Iris, and was taken by those beautiful blue eyes. Her eyes grew bigger, and she slid closer, way too close. "Your eyes...they're so beautiful..." She breathed. As Iris looked away, Zion timing everything to the nanosecond, the goddess reaching out to grab Iris, ask her something - and flirt - when there was a very strong breeze that struck...and Zion went rigid. She didn't even have time to answer Iris' question. "Hrk!" She looked scared, backing up. "Well I better go nice meeting every -" Bump. She ran into someone. "Oh crap." BONK. Zion slid to her rump, knees in front and legs splayed to her sides, rubbing her head. "Owowowoow!" She whimpered. "Clary! That hurt!" "It was supposed to." Standing above Zion, holding a very thick book titled A War of Song and Ice - the Fires of the Throne like a weapon. She tossed it over her shoulder, where it disappeared into some pocket dimension. Eclaire hauled Zion up and began brushing off her pants, Zion covering her face. "Clary!" "Here." A shirt and jacket were thrust into her arms. "I carry extra, in case you forget situational awareness." "...." Eclaire sighed, then knelt (being easily two or three feet taller than Zion) and met her at eye level...before kissing her. Zion's eyes went utterly wide, and any and all arguments that might have come from Zion died at once. Eclaire broke the kiss. "Mother. Be more careful. Blood loss affects you just as much as anything else. Alright?" "...you're a cheater." Zion took the clothes and marched off, leaving Eclaire to straighten up. She looked around, her eyes falling on Lucia...narrowing. Her. She huffed and looked at Iris. "Another." She said plainly, then turned to look upon the rest. "The city has already been overrun. That is...unfortunate." She didn't really attempt any other interaction, instead, just keeping a hand on her hip. Her rose-colored hair floated in the wind, her vivid eyes taking in the group. A motley assortment of miscreants and innocent bystanders, supplemented by a psychotic witch and yet another hybrid. She sighed. "As whoever actually cares is probably wondering - and as I am quite sure the Witch knows of me...I am the First Princess of Valhalla and former Regent of Tenebris, Eclaire Tonnerre de Wynter. That...handful is my mother." She said, rubbing her forehead. "What is the situation, anyways?" 1 Nero Kunivas reacted to this
Yessie Maltese 1,564 Posted January 10, 2017 ~Yuna~ ~Kalace (Downtown), Destroyed~ Yuna looks down sadly, worried about her father. She then another girl (Eclaire) who just smacked Zion's head with a book and then help her up. Yuna was shocked as she sees Eclaire kissed her. This is actually the first time she ever sees a girl kissing another girl. After that, Yuna was even more shocked and confused as she heard that Eclaire is Zion's daughter. Yuna laughs nervously as she looks at Sol. "Do- do all kids ki-kiss their parents li-like that?" She asked. 1 Clouded Sun reacted to this
Shulk 8,623 Posted January 10, 2017 Rose - Kalace It seemed that Rose's question had fallen on mostly deaf ears, as most people began talking among one another, and Zion seemed to immediately flirt around with other women until another girl who claimed to be her daughter arrived. That girl looks older than her mother... Rose noted before turning to Hanz. "Very well. If anyone gets hurt, I can work on healing them. It's a lot easier to travel with an uninjured party, after all," she noted. It seemed that the group was going to join in the evacuations. As much as she wanted to stay and fight off every last one of those robots, she realized that would be the best course of action to take. She waited on Sol to begin leading the group to their next destination; he seemed to be taking on the role of leader right now, and Rose could assume that he knew the way a lot better than she did. Fiora - Kalace Fiora had been in her home when the sounds of complete chaos rang from the Baroque. Startled and curious, she left the apartment building and tried to sneak towards the stadium, but it didn't take long for the soldiers to arrive in town as well. Fiora kept hidden in an alley, watching the soldiers pass by. What's going on...? These soldiers... they look mechanical. Wasn't there some sort of event going on at the Baroque today...? She kept hiding until that group of robots passed, and then, sticking to the shadows, she began to stealthily head over to the Baroque to investigate. She really didn't like getting involved in situations that seemed beyond her, but it looked like most people were trying to evacuate right now anyway. Staying at home wouldn't be an option. The chaos had now spread to the town, after all, and it seemed that casualties were beginning to crop up. Fiora continued on her way until she reached the Baroque, or at least its remains. She stood there, unable to move for a moment due to the shock of it all. N-no... this can't be happening... Once she found the strength to push forward again, she ran ahead, seeing a group standing in the left-over rubble. Maybe they would have some answers, and if not, she'd feel safer if she wasn't alone. "Um... Excuse me," she began; the fear compounded with her usual shyness, making it tough for her to get the words out. "What's going on...? I came from the city, and... now that's being destroyed, too..." Fiora struggled to keep herself composed, but she needed to find out why her home was now being attacked. 1 Clouded Sun reacted to this
Clouded Sun 1,232 Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) ------------------------------------------------- Sol - Kalace (Downtown), Destroyed ------------------------------------------------- The sun was beginning to wane, as the sunset was only masked by the fires throughout the streets of downtown Kalace. Yuna asked Sol about Eclaire and Zion, but he couldn't really get his head on straight, unable to hear her question. Sol was sickened by the scene of Kalace, spacing out for a bit. I'm not a leader. Why're they depending on me? Sol sighed, dropping his shoulders and took a breath. "Alright. Let's get going." He turned to Rose, saying "Thanks for the offer to heal." He scratched the back of his head, asking clearly, but without eye contact, "Can you.. stay a bit longer? We'll probably need it." To Fiora, Sol said "What're you still do- eh, that doesn't matter now. I'll explain everything when we get out of here. I've got some connections in Corbenik" "You see that?" Sol pointed again to the way to Corbenik, where bots continued to ravage. "That's the way we gotta go. Obviously, we'll just run into a bunch of scrap heads on the way. Don't know about you guys, but I'm not up for another fight right now." Pausing, he added "We've also got somebody who can't fight with us." Pointing to the buildings, he continued "We're gonna go make our way around, scaling the rooftops. Not sure if it'll work, but it'll definitely keep us mobile from some big droids. We gotta get moving now before they begin to crumble." Sol's emerald eyes returned. "Dali... uh, I mean Dalian," Sol started, "You mind carrying Yuna? Everyone else, let's get going!" Saber Lily 1,543 Posted January 11, 2017 -Zion and Eclaire, with the Destined Heroes (and Lucia)- Eclaire sighed. "No, it's not normal, girl. But it's the easiest way to shut up my mother." She looked over as Zion, in fresh clothes, appeared. "Did you have to only get my gym stuff..." She complained, before Eclaire ruffled her hair and adjusted the scarf. "I was in a hurry." She stated, then hugged her. "Hugs from Rei. She says she only burned down half the courtyard this time." "Lovely." She chuckled. Pulling away, she turned to Sol. "Take who you can to the rooftops." Zion ordered. In her hands flashed her twin blades - Forward Unto Dawn, and Long and Dark December. Eclaire sighed and summoned her own twin blades, Overture and Requiem. "We will draw the robots away." She promised. "Beyond Lucia, Reaper, and one or two others, the rest of you are either too inexperienced or have to protect the others. It's a bit too early to die to mere numbers, yes?" She smiled brightly. "Also, Fiora! Good, nice to see you...wait, wrong dimension. Oops." She giggled, then got another bonk, this time with a book titled Manny Verrsis's Guide to the Multiverse Theory, Volume One. "Idiot." She said. Suddenly one angel wing and one bat wing erupted from her back, and she flapped, gaining altitude. "I will engage first." Said the one-winged angel, and headed off. Zion chuckled, and bowed to the others. "Rose dear, be the best Paladin ever and keep them safe. We'll give you guys an opening." She kicked off and took flight herself, tipping her hat to Lucia and Iris before turning and heading off towards the city. As the others headed off, Zion looked down to see her daughter flipping and twisting, gunning down her foes with her magic gunblades. She was proud of her...just like her moms. Angling down, Zion dived and hit the ground, skidding along the flagstones as she sliced and diced, drawing the ire of many more foes. She smirked and spun, her blades glowing as she fired off a crescent blade of light, slicing down her foes before again turning and doing it again. She kicked off and continued her assault, drawing all she could. Eclaire soon appeared behind her. Passing her Requiem, they stood back to back, firing. "Just like the Siege of Llelywynn." Eclaire commented, suddenly summoning to her hand a new sword, which she used...though it broke. She tossed it aside. "Normal weapons are poorly made. How do humans get anything done with such feeble things." "Stubbornness that outdoes myself!" "I doubt that, mother." Eclaire said, accepting the returned gunblade as Zion tore a robot apart telekinetically. "Ya'know, any more and I might be scared I'll pass out." "Unlikely. There's no nude women." "I AM NOT THAT USELESS." "Yet." Eclaire moved, cutting down more as Zion stomped in frustration, causing a wave of light to blast out behind her, throwing her foes away. "I WILL GROUND YOU!" she shouted at her daughter. "I STILL AM YOUR MOTHER." Eclaire merely smiled. "Still such a child...just like mom wanted." 2 Nero Kunivas and Shulk reacted to this
Clouded Sun 1,232 Posted January 11, 2017 (edited) --------------------------------------------------- Sol - Kalace (Downtown), Destroyed --------------------------------------------------- Zion touted the ability to draw away the mechs, frustrating Sol. Obviously, the two may have been up for more fighting, but he surely was not. Especially not with the people who no longer could fight. "Dammit, cut it out! Don't try to be the he-" Sol was cut off by the beating of Zion and Eclaire's wings. Confronting the mechs and slashing their way through, Sol gritted his teeth. "Is the only thing you think about girls and force?!" The act threw a wrench in the plan. Rather than a more direct route into Corbenik, Sol and the group were forced to take a longer way, around a couple clothing stores. Trying to draw the mechs away couldn't possibly work if the group was nearby- it'd just draw more to the source of conflict.Avoiding direct conflict and force would greatly decrease the already-slim chances that they would go undetected, and therefore get them to Corbenik without wasting extra energy. The rooftops would work, but.... He just hoped nothing else would turn up. The rooftops were still the safest way... but they'd be longer around. Solace sighed. "Any other volunteers?" -Zion and Eclaire - Kalace (Downtown), Deestroyed- The foot soldier and wolf mechs were no match for Zion and Eclaire, getting cut down at a swing of the sword. It was nearly impossible for any force to break through the two. ...But enough to slow them down... An infantry "walker", nearly 60 feet high, a bulging heap of metal supported by four sturdy legs sporting missile launchers, flamethrowers, and forceful magnets began to activate from its sleep mode. Beside it, smaller tank-like structures began to wake from sleep, equipped with laser-like structures. As they stomped through the streets, the "walkers" triggered four of its heat-seeking missiles towards the two Edited January 11, 2017 by Clouded Sun
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted January 11, 2017 =Dalian, Kalance, Destroyed= Carry Yuna. No problem. I mean she was surrounded by lesbians anyways. She might as well pick up the girl. Dalian looked at Yuna and then to Sol. "Why should I have to carry her? I can barely maneuver in these and really, really want to detach them, and all I need to go is use my phone to get rid of them sooooo...." Dalian pulled her phone, unlocking it and opening up one of the apps she made. "I hate to admit it, but I really don't think it's polite to pick up other ladies. Men should do that." Dalian pressed a button on her phone, and the mechanics on her arms detached, and then the ones on her feet. "Portable." she commented, the metal literally folding up into something small enough to fit into a pocket. She picked it up, and put it in her dress, looking around in the rubble. "I'm going to have to get a weapon later." she noted. Her eyes them turned to both Hanz and Sol. "I volunteer~" 2 Clouded Sun and Yessie Maltese reacted to this

Saber Lily 1,543 Posted January 11, 2017 -The Sexy Angel Family, Downtown Kalace, facing Battlemechs- "I TOLD YOU WE SHOULD INVEST IN GUNDAMS!" Zion yelled. She shot up and drew two missiles away, twisting and turning through the air. "I ALSO THINK WE HAVE THEIR COMPLETE ATTENTION. HEAD EAST, DRAW THEM FROM THE OTHERS." She banked hard and spun, firing a phalanx of laser bolts to slice up to missiles. Eclaire hadn't moved. "Sword of Teardrops - Forged." A gilded blue katana flashed into life. She set her stance, then executed Flash Step, slicing the missiles in half and appearing out of range. As they exploded behind her, she switched to In Paradisum, and leapt at the main one. "If the others have any chance to escaping, we have to take these down." She spun the spear. "I'll need cover to charge my spells." Zion flew in front and hovered, extending her hand. "Eleventh Seal of the Goddess - Shield of Absolute Protection: Tsukuyomi!" She roared, a massive golden sigil shield appearing. The next round of attacks would batter against it, making her grit her teeth. "I'm far from Valhalla, Clary. Don't dawdle." Eclaire already was making her chants and drawing her mana towards herself. In Paradisum floated up, spining lazily. "Clary, have you been practicing?" "Yes." "Silly question, of course you've been practicing the Seventh Seal." Especially since it synergized with In Paradisum's Form Configuration ability. She grimacing, holding out. "Yeah, we have to at least disable the big guy. Once you're ready, I'll mark." She said. Zion felt the drain on her divine power though, the constant bombardment coupled with how strong the mechs were...well, it wasn't easy. Not in the slightest. He stuck his tongue out at Dalian, then called "Rose! Make sure Hanz is alright!" Sol began to crouch, aiming for the rooftop that would circle around Kalace into the bridge, then soared, pushing off and leaping into the building, almost losing the grip of Yuna. Luckily, she held on tight enough to stay even after Sol staggered slightly. Again, he ran to the edge of each building, making his way through Downtown Kalace. Sol came across a rooftop with mechs towards the street. "Shit," Sol began, hoping the group followed and calling "Take a jump down there!" Scaling the buildings, Sol made his way to the south side of Downtown Kalace, waiting for the others to arrive. --------------------------------------------------------------- Zion and Eclaire - Crushing through Downtown Kalace --------------------------------------------------------------- The walker mech started to accelerate towards Zion and Eclaire, swinging at the Tsukuyomi field. It was powerful, as even the grounded infantry mechs struggled to budge. Yet, the force field and the fight drew more mechs — soon enough, two more walkers, dozens of foot soldiers and wolves, and a gigantic Raven appeared, the walkers beginning to ready their lasers. Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted January 12, 2017 (edited) - Hanz - The Great Escape with the others - "But you're a god damn robot..." Hanz replied sarcasticaly as Dalian refused to pick up. with a small frown on his face as the mecha girl changed to her mobile form, his wounds finally starting to close as he simply stood there as everyone climbed the building. Hearing Sol asking Rose to check on him was nice of the boy, but was not needed. "No choice, better get to climbing..." Hanz spoke as he de-materialized himself and flew up the building, he had regained some of his energy in order to do that normally. He kept up with the others, materializing where he could to take a breather and look at the spectacle Zion and Eclaire were putting. Seeing the jump they had to make. Hanz decided to make an offer. "Anybody feeling they can't make the jump, I can help with the descent. I got some energy back now. What about it? RoboGirl, Rose?" (IN case Rose climbed as well). He proposed with a tip of his fedora Hanz was willing to help them descend safely, considering they both looked heavy as hell, especially Dalian. Who was a literal machine, he was still wondering what happened to her...you know...skin. Nero Kunivas 3,046 Posted January 12, 2017 - The Witch and The Reaper - The Great Escape - Lucia could only watch in amusement at the ensuing hilarity of Zion's daughter showing up and beaming her in the head with a book, though something ever so slightly resembling envy brewed in her heart when Eclaire silenced her mother with a kiss. Then, all subtlety went flying out of the window like a hyperactive sparrow when both of them took the fight to the Machines, necessitating a swift escape by everyone else. The Witch of the Wilds took a moment to give a quick applause to the Divine Beings who would be creating a lot of scrap metal this day before following the others, her eternal servant in tow. When they arrived at a building, the others climbed while Hanz voided up there in an awesome fashion. The Reaper shadow stepped to the Rooftop and kept himself visible so his mistress could glide up to him at a high speed, keeping her wings extended as she reached the apex, The Reaper took her hand and lead her onto the roof with minimal effort thanks to her wings. Hanz and company reached a point where they would have to jump, the former extending an offer of assistance to those who could not accomplish this alone. "How thoughtful of you~ My partner here can help me though, worry not." The Reaper nodded in turn to The Witches reply and prepared himself, taking her in his arm, with The Witch deliberately having a hand on his broad chest in both a mockery of chivalry and a genuine gesture to The Reaper. - Invidia Reyes, "Archangel" - The Great Escape - Archangel literally had no words regarding the...antics, of Zion's family, so when the time came for them to make their escape, he took off with nary a word to the Divines. The assassin Wraith Formed to the roof of the building with the others, then he saw the jump required to continue the retreat. Hanz was kind enough to offer help to those who couldn't make it alone and while Invidia didn't need the assistance, he admired the man for this. The powers of the void the fedora-wearing gentlemen possessed were...fascinating and had an air of familiarity to them. He would consider asking questions later, even then, he figured he wouldn't want to really talk about it. Invidia wouldn't freely discuss his own past to strangers, so why would Hanz, whatever it may be? "Don't worry about me, comrade. As to the rest of you, I can help too if need be. Just say when." His modulated voice still had an aura of comfort to it, as Archangel didn't want anyone to panic during this madness, as it could spell pain or even death for them. 1 Clouded Sun reacted to this
Zack1187 34 Posted January 12, 2017 -Iris - Escape from the City- Iris grunted in an annoyed fashion, as she summoned her chains, swinging them in her hands. "If only that cute little Goddess was here to carry me... No bother." She muttered, before she swung one of her chains at a building, following the others, as she zipped along, using her chains like grappling hooks to get around, and stay with the others. Doing a quick flip she arrived at the rooftop with the others. "I would offer to help but... I dont carry people." Iris said, flashing a genuine smile, as her eyes glittered beautifully. Preparing to zip along with a quick whip of her chains. 1 Clouded Sun reacted to this
Yessie Maltese 1,564 Posted January 12, 2017 ~Yuna~ ~Kalace (Downtown) - Rooftop Run~ Yuna wrapped her arms around Sol's neck as she holds on. As Sol jumped to the next rooftop, she squeals quietly. She looks down, realizing that they're in a very high building. "Eek!" She hide her face to Sol's shoulder, shaking as She is afraid of heights.
