Well it gets attention and views. xD Which is pretty much what they want.

It's the same with Cyberpunk 2077. A lot of rumor and speculation of it coming out in 2017, but it most likely won't come out until 2018 at the earliest.

I'd be very surprised if either actually did come out in 2017.

Again? Shocking... What a surprise...

Beyond the fact that IGN can't do basic research about Kingdom Hearts games, I love that they included Mario (Switch), a game that's not even confirmed to exist yet and Splatoon (Switch), a port of a 2015 game, but not either Sonic games slated to come out in 2017, nor Yakuza 0 or Kiwami. They just do not give a remote shit about Sega.

Well, they are clearly wrong about the release date, KH3 comes out in 2917.

Seriously though, they should do some research, some of these are just based on rumours lol.

Also why Splatoon is in there? I understand the obvious It´s not KH3 thing, but somethings are wrong in the thumbnail. Since when the confirmed God of War PS4 would come out in 2017?

they credit us last time... so why do I even bother. #IGNLOCIC

That's our IGN(orant).

Don't get me started on them! Boy,they want the whole world to burn....

Ok, they've gotta be doing this on purpose right?

There is a good chance KH3 will come out in 2017. It is the 15th anniversary after all.

I hope that they will give the release window in March. Unless the game will get delayed.

There could be a mistake though they are showing 2.8.

Crucify them! Crucify them!

Lol! Does IGN actually know something we don't? As if! xD

To be fair though, they did try to correct that with the annotations...but even then they still said "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 and 3". Like oh my god guys, I can't stress enough how pathetically funny it is, you would think that a site that calls themselves a news gaming site would be up to date on what is confirmed to be releasing and what isn't. They didn't even use any E3 KH3 footage, epic fail, lols. X)

Seriously, that annotation fix tho. It's like if they misspelled the "Trump" in Trump tower and tried to fix it by putting a sticky-note over it, it ain't fooling no one. X)

I have a sneaking suspision IGN does this kind of stuff on purpose.

They can't even be bothered to check YouTube. They're not serious about anything.

*Facepalms.* This is definitely a brain racking affair. Will IGN never get tired of bashing on Kingdom Hearts? Not saying every single IGN employee does, but a lot of them do!

Seriously though, slapping the KHIII name on Dream Drop Distance gameplay? Come on! X3

This is funny... IGN actually took down the video lmao...

Although it might be an honest mistake, their social media/digital team really has to get their shit up front. I let Eraqueeze slide because it is somehow a complicated name to pronounce especially if you have no idea what the series is, but 2.8 footage tagged as KH3? Who's the researcher for IGN again?
