Nero Kunivas 3,046 Posted January 15, 2017 Character Sheet the Fourth Name: Isaac Wilhelm Age: 35 Gender: Male Species: Cybernetic Ryuh (With a hint of Demon Blood) Appearance: Clothing wise, he wears no shirt, simply having a maroon longcoat over his body (Think Dante's Coat from DMC3, just less red.) along with dark slacks fixed with a tight belt, strong, black boots fixed with many buckles and thick laces and a pair of fingerless gloves that he simply has fixed to a pocket of his, due to the fact that both of his hands are cybernetic. On the topic of such, his cybernetics are extensive, yet highly advanced. Implants line his spinal cord up to his skull, his right arm all the way to his right side chest is fully cyberised, his left side chest is still intact, but his left arm is partially cybernetic, his index and middle fingers robotic and the back and palm of the hand are supported with a metal frame that extends all the way to his forearm. Both of his legs, thighs and all, are robotic, yet sleek enough to wear boots and slacks. All of his cybernetics are linked and supported, allowing him to use their full potential with ease. Facial Appearance: That of a young man, but heavily scarred and with small bouts of necrosis here and there. His eyes once a teal-blue, now crimson, a slight glow and reptilian look to them. His jaw is hardly a lantern jaw, barely a sharp edge to it, unless one counts the "sharp" scars left on it. His hair is medium length, extending just past his jaw and entirely white in color as a result of his power. Despite his old injuries, many still consider him attractive, not that he minds. Ingenium Gift: Painting - A master of multiple styles, always has an eye for a good quality easel and Canvas. Potentia Gift: Demonic Splicing. A once simple power where he could assume characteristics of another being, ala Shapeshifting, his abilities were altered during a major event in his life: A pilgrimage, wherein he consumed the Blood of a Demon that he had to kill and drink from a Chalice. On the simpler end, it grants Isaac control over Demonic Energies; Unstable looking powers of an offensive nature i.e: Energy Orbs, Blasts, Waves and Beams. His physical appearance has been altered and it is usually minor (See facial appearance), but already he is showing signs of true metaphysical transformation through his eyes having their glow and different appearance, it is minor...for now. More complex, yet the ultimate in growth, is his ability to subjugate and re-purpose the souls of defeated enemies. Be they great beasts who accept their death or not, Isaac can reforge their souls into powerful weapons and abilities for him to use. It is a rare occurrence, so far having only happened once, but it is always a great occasion for him, as it can be quite fun to show off his new toys/powers. His current weapon: A Sword, is infused with a Demonic Soul and is currently a representation of his growth and it will change in appearance when he experiences a new power, or better, an awakening. To clarify however, he cannot simply steal peoples souls, he has to defeat them in battle and recover it from their bodies or if it is willingly offered by the graceful loser, but even then, it has to be a very powerful being, a strong person or great beast with sapience, such as Demons, Angelic Beings or potentially Dragons. His abilities are currently very simple as a result, but growth will make things very interesting indeed. His most basic abilities are enhanced durability, stamina and recovery, plus the extra speed his cybernetics give or the strength they grant. Background: The ability to shape-shift, sometimes called Transfiguration, is a simple one, but one that is the most open to growth and change, people who possess this gift often embarking on pilgrimages to seek new power to take into themselves, often replacing shape-shifting with something similar, but at the same time wholly different in scope, caliber and potential. Isaac was no exception, after being born in a small village in an Island of Pollis, his gift was discovered and revered by his family and friends, who considered it quite the momentous occasion. His family line typically held many shape-shifters over the generations, though those without it were not shamed at all. He and brothers all held power, his older brother being a shape-shifter too, while his younger one was a Pyromancer. Upon reaching his late-teens, Isaac was ready to embark on his pilgrimage. Destination? It was never set in stone, the pilgrim being able to choose where they go to obtain power, many of them seeking to head to Scient, the Land of Wonders, often finding phenomenons and other mysterious happenings that would grant the power they seek. Isaac had always been interested in the higher powers, Divine or otherwise, mainly those of the "Underworld", Oblivion, Hell, Inferno, it had many names but what intrigued him the most was the inhabitants and their powers. It was always considered rather ambitious to attempt to attain power of the Divines or Demons, yet ambition was encouraged for these pilgrimages in order to situate the greatest growth. So when his travels led him to Scient, he found a naturally occurring "Inferni Gateway" that he would enter to begin what was considered by many, the fun part. For years, Isaac engrossed himself in the exotic dimension, fighting off hostile creatures with the weapon he was provided with: A simple broadsword that he had been given basic training with, but was effective regardless, teaching himself how to use it as he lived in the hellish realm. He encountered a wild variety of Demonic Beings, nothing too crazy or too much for him to deal with, but his biggest challenge and the one he would use was a humanoid demon, seemingly similar to him but it was no shadowy doppelganger, it was just a Ryuh-like Demon that used a Broadsword like he and had great power. A duel ensued, blows were had, blades clashed and sparked with the ferocity of their battle until, finally, Isaac gained the upper hand over his opponent, opening his guard and plunging his blade into the Demon's chest. His opponent fell, dying quickly but not before giving one last bow to the victor. With his death, Isaac began the most important part of the ritualistic pilgrimage: To take the Chalice of the Feast he had been given and fill it with the blood of this Demon then consume it. Draining as much as needed into the Chalice, Isaac took a moment to not only brace himself, but wonder just what he'd be able to do beyond this day. With this, he gladly downed the Chalice, every last drop of the Demon's life essence was taken in, it's strange properties not staining the Chalice or leaving any residue. It didn't take long for Isaac to realize he could never have prepared for this. Isaac's body immediately convulsed, the Chalice falling to the ground abruptly as he clutched his gut, his body began glowing with a formidable, unstable power. His very being was being altered, the transformation of one's Gift is never a smooth one despite how open shape-shifting is to change. His incredible aura caught the attention of Demonic Beasts far more cruel and ruthless than his honourable opponent ever could be...and they were hungry. Taking hold of his sword and doing his best to control his rebelling body, Isaac desperately fought back against the beasts, immediately mortally wounding the closest one and expelling energy to injure those that attempted to group up on him. His slashes and burgeoning powers were enough to keep his fight going for several hours, beast after beast fell before him, but his limbs were tiring both from the fight and strain of resisting the demonic power's expulsions. It only took one mistake, one moment of relenting to seal Isaacs fate. He misjudged a slash, causing his blade to be caught in the jaws of a Hellhound, it's powerful bite snapped the blade in two and in an unclean fashion, shards of folded steel flew everywhere. From there, that battle turned for the worst. Isaac fought back as hard as he could ever still, throwing punches, kicks and whatever he could, but soon the beasts overwhelmed him...and he was damn near torn apart as they savaged his body. His overflowing energy plus his current trauma was enough however for him to release another expulsion of energy, albeit a more monumental kind which vaporized a few beasts and heavily injured others, forcing them to retreat, but their damage was done: Both of Isaac's legs were gone, his right arm torn away, his right side utterly ravaged and his face still covered in cuts left by the Swordsman Demon and yet, seemingly miraculously, he was not dead. The insane amount of power exuding from his morphing physiology was enough to sustain him despite his fatal injuries, but the battered pilgrim hadn't a clue how long this would last for. With his remaining hand that had seen better days with it's missing fingers, he would crawl away from this madness. Before he did however, a part of his power had settled in which caused something to happen to the body of the Swordsman Demon: His soul vacated his body, the latter seeming to shatter into many pieces that faded from existence. The red glowing orb of power then flew towards Isaacs mangled body and in a flash of light, it morphed into a massive Broadsword to replace his old one, albeit now with more power and a more appropriate appearance. The blade settled, holstered on his back, seeming to motivated the man to escape as he began crawling with a renewed vigor. He crawled up through several layers of the Demonic Realm, to the upper most layer that tended to spawn Inferni Gateways to many locations throughout Sectilis, anyone of them would do for him at this point, but he could feel his power beginning to settle as his body accepted it, but at the same time, began to weaken due to his grave wounds. By the strength of his will, the grip of his hand and even the grit of his teeth, Isaac pulled himself into the nearest Gateway, arriving outside of Kalace, Lieth, happening upon a Scientific Expedition who was headed to the mountains to document strange weather patterns. Upon the sight of his mangled body and faltering will, the expedition immediately took action, utilizing the advancements of Kalace in Transportation to get him to the nearest medical facility, barely managing to stabilize his body, but his life was still in jeopardy, so they had to make a call to a Corporation known as Metallic Insights, a leading specialist in Cybernetic Technology that practically held the monopoly on Bionics and Full-Cyber Conversion in all of Lieth. The company answered gladly, taking complete control over Isaac's Operation, especially after they heard about the energies his body was producing. After fitting him with a basic Cybernetic Frame, a representative of M.I visited Isaac in his hospital bed and after a bit of small talk laid out a deal for him. Metallic Insights would give Isaac a Cybernetic Conversion in order to restore him to health and increase his ability at the cost of employing him into their services. The company had a history of making "Devil Deals" with patients who demonstrate potential, Isaac was a prodigy compared to others they hired for their Cyborg Military Force. To ensure a positive response was given and in keeping with the usual term used for their deals, the representative let slip that they had deliberately "forgotten" about the main processor that would allow him to move, essentially saying "Join us or be paralyzed. Your choice.". Oddly, Isaac casually rolled his eyes and accepted their offer, so they quickly proceeded with his conversion, making him their most powerful soldier...and their least co-operative. See, Isaac isn't one to be blackmailed, at least not totally, for he would work for them, do their dirty work, whatever. He would not however, follow their protocols nor directly follow orders, he wouldn't even stay in their base, repeatedly escaping, only coming back because he felt like it. During the operation, attempts to implant a Control Chip were made, to varying degrees of failure...each of the 4 attempts resulted in his body utterly rejecting it, the Demonic Powers he possessed utterly disintegrating the chip the first time, with an increasing ferocity the second time. The third time was with a different method, but this too failed, with the power actually spitting back at the operators. Like fools, they did it a fourth time, believing this time would be a giant success. Needless to say, it failed, the energy expulsion killing one of the operators stone dead via Cardiac Arrest, forcing them to conclude this wouldn't work, leaving them to deal with this rogue element who did enjoy his job immensely, but didn't care for his company slightly. Like the other troops, he is frequently placed in Stasis to keep him quiet until required and they have had to, allegedly, make him the "Desperation Trooper", as he was the most powerful out of all of them, yet he was the hardest to control. During all this time, Isaac learned that his Elder Brother had not returned from his pilgrimage and his Younger Brother had disappeared, leaving him to do whatever he pleased, just without the two people he loved most. The Great Disaster of Kalace has Metallic Insights on edge, as their Kalace HQ was under serious risk of destruction. As Isaac was in stasis there, they have sent the frequency needed to waken him. As to what he'll do, well, they had no idea. If the HQ was destroyed, he'd desert them entirely. As the synthetic attack escalated further, it looked like an inevitability and before they would know it, a Cybernetic Half-Demon Man would be running around unchecked. Personality: Absolute snark beast, cool headed, amiable, cocky and an utter blood knight in regards to how much he enjoys combat, Isaac, despite the rough experiences of his life, has retained his rather laid-back personality, though if anything, it's just been enhanced and refined, the way he acts is like an art in that sense. The man is prone to making jokes, one liners and the sort during such heated moments, usually to get under the skin of opponents he has no fear of. He's not unstoppable and he knows it, but his newfound strength plus his cybernetic enhancements have made him a force to be reckoned with, so he'll be damned if he's not going to have some fun with it. He hasn't had any difficulty coming to terms with who he is as, well, becoming something Demonic was precisely what he wanted, the only thing he didn't expect was his bionic limbs, but they're fine to him, despite a few odd looks here and there, he continues to be a bit of a womanizer....well, a lot of one. Despite how capable of mocking his enemies he is, when the cards are down and the situation is dire, expect the snark and smirking to fade entirely and prepare to run. During such situations, Isaac displays a far more serious, mature and altruistic attitude and no longer shows any form of mercy towards enemies. He also deeply cares for living beings in general and will go out of his way to help people in need. He does enjoy what he does, getting paid can be quite the plus, but in the end, he lives to use his new power to kill immoral people, slaughter cruel beasts and he has a desire to fight a rogue Divine. Weapon: Insurgence - A massive broadsword forged from the Soul of the Swordsman Demon he clashed with, this blade is quite useful in regards to cutting down his opponents. The subjugation of the Demon's Soul allows the blade to work very, very well in the hands of Isaac, wielding it with great skill, supported by his already considerable experience with a Broadsword. As it is his first "Devil Arm", this blade has the tightest link to his soul, meaning it will reflect his current state. The closed pommel, retracted guards and closed skull indicate he has barely begun to explore his power. Blade Appearance: http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/devilmaycry/images/6/6e/Rebellion_(Dormant)_DMC3.gif/revision/latest?cb=20151021203828 Religion: In contrast to his deep interest in Demonic Beings, the Divines and the Gods in general, Isaac isn't all for worshiping them in the slightest. He also believes literally all of them exist. The Old, established Gods also don't have as much respect from him as the New Gods (Such as Zion.) do, the reasons as to why are unknown. Other important info: - Absolutely loves Pizza. And Strawberry Sundaes. Give him them now. - He is particularly good at playing Electric Guitar. - He has no specific preference for a weapon, he likes all weapons that ever existed, he just happens to have a Broadsword as his first weapon. Character Theme: I realize I have essentially made a Cybernetic DMC4 Dante. But that's not important. What is important, is what you think, Clouded Sun, buddy. 1 Clouded Sun reacted to this

Everyone else has other characters they're interacting with while mine are just kind of bouncing around while I try to find a good fit for them. No, I understand where you're coming from. I do have a lot more characters than I expected to be in one place (I think we have, like, 12 active ones). The newer characters I'm planning to drop in other places, and possibly separate the rest of us very soon. Either way, I encourage pulling others' characters to the side and talking with them personally. Obviously, the RP is in a strange, kinky place which is mainly my fault, due to my inexperience but I'm positive we can iron it out.
