Emrys 3,192 Posted December 21, 2016 I'm going to post a list here at the bottom of this post. It's a long list. A list of sites you can watch anime LEGALLY. Sites that support the show you are watching. Concerning kissanime, that site does not support the creators of the shows you watch. If everyone were to use kissanime the anime creators wouldn't get the the income they need to make more. They don't make anime to keep us happy and entertained for free out of the kindness of their hearts, though that would be grand. Saying you don't want to sit through ads either is nothing short of entitled. This post is mainly for the American viewers who have NO excuse not to use these sites. Of course some of the sites I posted are available in multiple countries as well. Heck, Crunchyroll is as low as $7 or $8 a month. And if I may be frank, if you can't round up $8 a month then I think you have bigger concerns then where to watch your anime. 2 kingdomlanelover and Geralt reacted to this
Geralt 4,874 Posted December 21, 2016 There's also this: https://vrv.co/ It has Crunchyroll and Funimation along with several other things. 10 bucks a month I think which is fantastic. 2 Emrys and kingdomlanelover reacted to this
Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted December 21, 2016 (edited) I'd fully support this. But I watch Yu-Gi-Oh! mainly, and most likely none of these places have it up to date, or even on there at all. Crunchyroll has started uploading the Arc-V anime now bit by bit, so that's cool. But by the time the series finishes and the new one starts next April, all the episodes wouldn't have been uploaded yet. Which is why I have no choice but to resort to places like KissAnime and GoGoAnime. Peace! kingdomlanelover 494 Posted December 21, 2016 I'm always weary about streaming services, but since I don't watch that much anime, I usually just end up buying the physical copies of the shows I watch. I agree with you, it's a shame that people watch it illegally and the creators don't get anything.
Exiblade7 1,917 Posted December 21, 2016 (edited) I can understand why watching it illegally would be a problem, BUT just know that not everybody has the money to watch anime. Like I can't just pull money out of magic panties (you see what I did there guys?) Heck, I barely get enough money to buy video games at times because I don't even have a job. See where I'm getting at? What if you don't have a job? What if you don't get enough money to pay for the services on crunchroll, funimation ect? Do you expect us to just not watch anime because we can't pay for it? Yeah but not everyone has the way to pay for the service. I completely agree with this. You can create free accounts and watch alot of anime free. They have simicasts and dubs. If you pay then you dont get adds. If you dont want to pay then theres adds and the creators get the credit they deserve and they get to keep making more anime. Kissanime is an illegal site. If you dont use sites that support the content creators they dont get as much money. They cant keep making content. You aren't seeing the long term effects this will have. You dont have a job? Then like I said above, you have bigger problems then. Lets imagine you are making content and those sites paid you money to do that. Because of that you can do those things as a job. However a kisswhatever site pops up and lets people see your content for free. You dont get any money or credit. You dont have a reason to keep making content. You see what I'm getting at? Exiblade7 1,917 Posted December 21, 2016 I see you're point, but it won't stop me from using kissanime. People do stuff like this all the time and there's nothing you can really do about it.

People do stuff like this all the time and there's nothing you can really do about it.Im aware of the fact I cant stop everyone from doing it. But im going to do as much as I can. Its better then sitting and doing nothing. When something bad exists there are 3 types of peopleThose who take advantage of it and use it Those who sit and do nothing about it. Those who do what they can to stop it. You wanna be the former? Thats on you. As long as I have respect for the people who worked very hard to make their content, as long as I have at least a shred of common decency, as long as I have respect for myself not to use illegal sites then ill be the latter. If I remember correctly, there are certain features that are unavailable to guests and non premium users. When I have the money for it, I will likely use the site more often, but at this time I can't

Dave 5,715 Posted December 21, 2016 As someone who works in the entertainment industry, we don't make nearly as much money as people think we do, for the amount of hours that we put in. There are enough producers and distributors who look to try and get people to work for "great experience, no pay." It would be nice if the people who consume the content don't echo the same apathy and indifference.
Geralt 4,874 Posted December 22, 2016 (edited) I'd also like to point out that along with the problem of not being able to pay for such services or just watching what you can for free on them, is that they don't all have everything you want to watch. Like for instance the anime movie Piano No Mori. Which on a side note is a very amazing movie. Neither Crunchyroll or Funimation have it. Which are the two biggest anime providing services. Nor is it currently sold at least in the US. So, in such cases I find I have to resort to such a service like Kissanime because they end up having it. Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted January 17, 2017 If you want to pay for it, you can pay for it. If you want to watch it through a service like Kiss Anime and somehow give back to the creators in buying goods, do it. If you use Netflix to watch anime, that's fine. If you want to watch a series through Kiss Anime because you cannot find it anywhere else, do it. If you want to watch a series on YouTube, you can do it. If you want to watch a series on Kiss Anime, do it. If you don't watch anime that much, it is fine to use a service like Kiss Anime. If you want to read manga online, do it. If you want to read manga online then buy it, do it. If you like a series you watched 'illegally' and buy stuff from the series creators, do it. The anime and manga industry gets money. Everyone pirates stuff and does stuff illegally. It's not just the anime/manga community. Everyone has downloaded a song before from YouTube or something right? That's technically illegal. If you want to do something, no matter however you want to, do it. If you get punished for it, then so be it. You can do it because you have full rights to watch and read what you want. It's called freedom of the press.
Nel 20 Posted January 17, 2017 I didn't know this, yo'! I mean I use a variety of sites, mainly Hulu and Netflix. However, I can't ensure that I'd stop using kissanime. Not that I use the site much to begin with, other than to watch something that isn't on Netflix or Hulu.
