The 13th Kenpachi 4,279 Posted December 20, 2016 Evidence Rock formations are EXACTLY the same as during the final fight of BBS. The Kingdom Hearts moon looks the same and in Birth By Sleep the moon pushed back the clouds into circular layers just as this one does. Beneath Luxu's feet we see Xehanort's keyblade. It could be time travel forward, since he still has his heart he can wield the keyblade, but he has feet-he should have left his body behind. This might also be a flashback sequence with Aqua's memories. 1 Henne reacted to this
Oli 1,679 Posted December 20, 2016 (edited) It could be, but are we forgetting that χ, Unchained χ and Back Cover take place during the war that was fought for the χ-blade? In that picture we can see a lot of hearts floating towards Kingdom Hearts, so I believe that scene takes place during the Keyblade War and not during Birth by Sleep where only Ven (kinda) lost his heart. The rock formation could be a BbS reference, but I highly doubt that Luxu/MoM was present during that time. Oli 1,679 Posted December 20, 2016 (edited) It could be during that also, why not both? Because time travel makes things overcomplicated and while the the story of KH can be convoluted at sometimes, the easy explanations tend to be the correct. Not saying I'm right though, I'm just saying I prefer to not overthink stuff. Edited December 20, 2016 by Taco Dad
RikuFangirl2008 1,368 Posted December 20, 2016 (edited) "Unlike you five, I was not given a Tome of Prophecy. Instead, I have to move forward to the future written in those tomes. I'll watch this world end, and then I'll set off." It might be time traveling. Sad thing is, we don't know yet since Unchained X is telling the story and 2.8's release date is upon us. He might've done some thing already regarding the contents in the doggone box, and about to do something drastic that could bring about the end of the world. That's where the Dandelions comes in. We still don't know of this "relationship" that the Master of Master and Luxu has. Edited December 20, 2016 by RikuFangirl2008
The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted December 21, 2016 Hmm, this is very interesting! It could be that Luxu does indeed travel forward in time, but doesn't that mean he'd be closely associated to Xehanort, or something like that? I know it's not Young Xehanort, since the voice actor for Luxu is clearly different! Maybe it's Xehanort and Eraqus's master? I really don't know...I mean, if Xehanort's Keyblade is hanging in a wall in the E3 2015 Kingdom Hearts III trailer, then maybe that means Luxu does end up being their Master after all? I seriously don't know! But back to what's at hand, it could very well be the Keyblade Graveyard during Birth By Sleep! But it's probably the Keyblade War itself in Back Cover, ya know? The lights going up to Kingdom Hearts are hearts from the slaughtered warriors in the Keyblade War to me and the hooded figure with Keyblade is Luxu so that is the KHUX part of this. However, the mountains and how Kingdom Hearts appears is BbS to me so I am seeing KHUX and BbS in one. How is this possible is beyond me.

I think I have a theory in regards to how Luxu's Keyblade came to hang on that wall: Luxu and The Master are the good guys in all of this and thanks to The Master's future vision, he realizes that the apocalypse can not be stopped, but they can make it so that at least there are survivors. So Ava gathers the Dandelions and they do their thing while Luxu is sent to witness the end but to also survive. This is based on what can be observed in the Keyblade Graveyard: if a Keyblade wielder dies then so too does their Keyblade die but since Luxu's Keyblade is currently alive and in Xehanort's hands, he must have survived. What does this have to do with it hanging on the wall? Luxu found The Land Of Departure and became the first Keyblade Master of a new generation of wielders. He would then pass his Keyblade along to one of his students, much like how Yen Sid passed his Starseeker to Mickey, to carry on the legacy. Many many many years later, Eraqus and Xehanort pass their exams and the current Master selects Eraqus to be the new Master of The Land Of Departure and Xehanort becomes Master but instead inherits the ancient Keyblade. We all know the rest after that. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

If this is indeed the case, then that's the reason why Luxu's Keyblade is in the Land Of Departure during that scene with Young Eraqus and Young Xehanort playing chess! It'd make a whole lot of sense! But then, what would have happened to Luxu? That's the interesting question there! Did he simply die of old age? Or did something else happen to him? I'd say it was old age that got him. The war is over, the worlds are separate and safe, incursions by Heartless are few and far between, and he most likely retired after passing his Keyblade on. 1 The Transcendent Key reacted to this

Hmm, that's actually pretty darn accurate! This could very well be the case! I don't remember where I read it on here, but apparently, X/Unchained X's events are 100 years before Birth By Sleep, so it isn't out of the realm of possibility that Luxu eventually grew old and managed to fulfill his purpose of seeing the war! Him retiring and passing on his Keyblade sounds just about right! Hopefully, we'll get our answers in Back Cover!
