So far (I'm chapter 6, no spoilers!) the characters for me. It's a big world with a lot to do, but that just murders the pacing, so I just like road tripping and finding my way around with the gang.

 

(probably could have used a girl in the mix, though. Iris is fun as a companion.)

 

Also that Shimomura music. Especially the dungeon tune. 

 

Battle system is kinda weak, and I hate being graded, but there you go.

Veiled in black, ravus aeterna, nox aeterna, apocalypsis noctis, somnus, valse di fantastica, cleigne battle theme, apocalypsis aquarius, hellfire, stand your ground and omnis lacrima. And thats just the tip of the iceberg. How many eargasms could i have in one week? Impressive what yoko has accomplished with the game.

Love the combat and love the music. Just playing the first hour (only got through 2 hours of the game) made me feel like I'm playing another Kingdom Hearts game but with a different story and setting.

On-topic: Characters, characters, characters. Always the right answer for an FF, with music being a very close second. Yoko certainly didn't disappoint in her first entry in the series.
