 Despite what we all thought in late 2015 and early this year, 2016 has been quite dry for KH3. It's been far better than 2014 considering we got some awesome screenshots and some details through interviews. The development process is going smoothly (I feel that is the new 'now in development') according to Tetsuya Nomura and Tai Yasue. 2016 is now over, (yes I know it's December)

 

I think that Business Division 3 (Osaka) have gotten through a lot of KH3 this year and we'll be blown away in 2017. I still stand by my belief that 2.8 has slowed down KH3 a little bit, but I doubt they have been working on the game all the way up until now since the reason for the delay wasn't to do with 2.8. 

 

If I were to give an estimation on the completion of Kingdom Hearts 3 at this point in time I'd say anywhere from 60-65%. Remember the engine switch in 2014 to UE4 .

 

 

I think we can all agree that 2017 is going to be big for KH3, and that has been confirmed multiple times in Dengeki interviews.

My gut says between 70-79%. I think they are getting pretty close and with the original KH team having the elephant in the room so to speak finished and out and off their back, they probably are helping the Osaka team.

It's not like we have to wait another three years for the release, but looking back into the past we can assume that game developments start really slow and get faster and faster. By summer 2017 it will probably be 70-80%. Let's hope it will arrive next christmas.

Well, if I had to give an estimate, I'd say that the game is 70-79% complete, leaning specifically on 79%!  The game has been worked on for quite some time, and remember, we've seen what Nomura has shown us, but we've had lots of downtime in which we haven't seen any new footage. I'm pretty sure Nomura and the Osaka team have been hard at work ensuring the game reaches its peak! With the screenshots shown to us of Sora with his new forms, the game looks improved! Now we just need to see gameplay to see how far that's progressed!

 

My guess is that in 2017, by around E3, the game will probably be at least 85-90% complete, and then they'd take the rest of the year to make the final tweaks to make way for a Winter 2017 release! That's what I hope, anyway!

 

But yeah, 79% is my best bet!
