Guest Posted November 21, 2016 When I found out about the origins of the Fortellers names, I found it very intriguing that they were named after the Seven Deadly Sins. However, upon research in Wikipedia and comparing the Fortellers to Organization XIII, I came to the conclusion that the names that the Fortellers are currently known by was passed down by the Master of Masters. In layman terms, it's not their real names, rather, I believe that the Foreteller's real names are based of the Seven Heavenly Virtues. Ava = Caritas (Carita) Aced = Industraia (Ustra) Invi = Humanitas (Manita) Gula = Temperantia (Empera) Ira = Patientia (Entia)

Besides, why are neutral characters named after The Seven Deadly Sins? Surely, having The Seven Heavenly Virtues be their real names would be reflective of what the Fortellers used to be before they became Fortellers? G-SANtos 105 Posted November 21, 2016 (edited) I'll copypaste what I said on KH Insider: Interestingly, this naming scheme would give Ava and Aced names similar to Kairi (カイリ) and Terra (テラ, Tera): カリタス (Karitasu) and ウストラ (Usutora). Man, you might be onto something here. So, by this theory, Luxu's true name could be Casti, from Castitas. Unless, being the odd one out, as he has the Recusant's Sigil, his true name is Ulu, which, huh, doesn't have many interesting meanings. The one that most lifts red flags to me is that it is Hawaiian for "to be possessed by a god", which sounds like Xehanortification. It also means "supreme" or "holy" in Turkish, but most other meanings are too boring for such a mysterious character. Now, I'm wondering if the Master of Masters also has two names, or if his name is a combination of "superbia" and "humilitas", like, say, Humiper or Miliperbi. You might be mistaking for the time people called them "Vulpes Foreteller" and such, which were short for "Foreteller of the Vulpes Union", as people didn't want to type such a large phrase to refer to them. The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted November 22, 2016 Hmm, this is an interesting thing you've got going on here, human! I never would've thought of that! You might be onto something! But what their true names actually are, I have no clue! We might find out when we watch Back Cover! So much mystery really appeals to me, speaking as a mysterious being myself, of course!
