I don't know if it is something that I miss. But if the kingdom key is Riku's keyblade in the majority of KH1 how did he picks up a second keyblade ? In the case im talking about the soul eater. And how the soul eater evolved itself to the way to dawn after KHCoM ?

Obs: Sorry if i wrote something wrong, its because im from Brazil and im training my english kkk.

He learns how to summon it after he's taken in by Maleficent . Way of the dawn kinda symbolizes the fact that Riku walks between light and darkness which is the case during the Kingdom Hearts II storyline (someone might have to correct on this though 'cause I am not so sure about it ).It also kinda references the ending of Reverse in KH CoM where Riku chooses the middle road ,"the road to dawn" .

I know he learn how to summon it after that. But he already had the kingdom key. And i didnt understand that part. And for some reason the soul eater evolves to the way to dawn (i know about the name simbolizes this thing about KHCoM) but how it evolved changing his form ?

The Kingdom Key found itself into Sora to protect him when Riku got overtaken by the darkness . Don't forget , Sora was a potential keyblade weilder ,too . About how the Soul Eater transformed into the Way to Dawn you might have to ask someone else on that .

I know, because of Ventus heart. But because of that moment when the key of the Kingdom go to protect Sora in Destiny Islands riku failed to call it again? And then he learns how to summon the soul eater and only when Sora got close to him in Hollow Bastion again that he managed to call her back?

Since he had the Soul Eater doing all the good work for him , he didn't need the Kingdom Key . He only called it back in Hollow Bastion just to persuade Sora that it doesn't belong to him and it certainly wasn't intended for him .He took it away to show Sora that he does not deserve a keyblade (he is proven wrong afterwards when Sora calls it back with the strength of his heart) .

So technically speaking Riku has two keyblades ? This part that confuses me.

Soul Eater isn't a Keyblade, it's just a weapon made of Darkness that Riku can summon due to Maleficent teaching him how to. Note that it doesn't have a Keychain. When Riku does get his own new Keyblade (as Kingdom Key chose Sora instead in Hollow Bastion), Way to the Dawn, it's looks are based off Soul Eater, yes, but as seen in the start of DDD, he can still summon Soul Eater if he wants to.

I'll explain the whole situation (cause I wanna):

Terra commenced the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony with Riku and because of this, Riku was destined to obtain a Keyblade one day. When Destiny Islands was being consumed by darkness in KH1, Riku succumbed to darkness and Sora happened to be there. Sora reached out to the light within Riku's heart and temporarily obtained Riku's Keyblade. Riku eventually began to wield Soul Eater which is mainly a sword of darkness; not a Keyblade. I don't remember completely, but I think he obtained this sword from Maleficent or gained this power from Maleficent.

When Sora arrives at Hollow Bastion, Riku takes back what is his and the Keyblade returns to Riku. Once Sora confronts him once again and says his speech, the Keyblade decides to move back to Sora as its permanent wielder. Riku eventually, at some point during the events of KH2, obtains a new Keyblade "Way to the Dawn," which design is based off of Soul Eater. I'm not entirely sure, but I think he got this Keyblade because he was always destined to obtain one because of Terra. We see in Dream Drop Distance that he can still wield Soul Eater, but again, this is merely a sword and not a Keyblade.

Soul Eater is like, the Organization weapons. Made out of their element, comes out of hammerspace, all that jazz. Axel and Riku are similar in that their current weapons are based off their old ones, appearance-wise, Soul Eater isn't a Keyblade, just like Eternal Flames obviously wasn't.

Thanks now i get it. Riku probaly has proved himself worthy to be one keyblade wielder, then when Diz's machine exploded and took out the darkness of the riku the way to down went to him rigth ?

Well, DiZ's explosion helped return Riku back to normal, but before then, he already began to wield Way to the Dawn as we see him use it before 'fighting' Saix and saving Kairi.

Riku actually got the Keyblade a bit earlier than that. He uses it when he goes save Kairi. It's hard to say when exactly he got it, could be any time after Chain of Memories, as he can still use Soul Eater afterwards. And the three times we see him using Soul Eater could be explained as him not wanting to show his Keyblade for any reason (fight with Xion = not show the Organization he had a Keyblade. Fight against Nobodies outside of the mansion = he just started looking like Ansem, and felt he wasn't worthy to be wielding a Keyblade. Fight with Sora in Land of Dragons = didn't want to show Sora that he had a Keyblade when he still felt he wasn't worthy of even seeing Sora again). He probably got it at some point during KH2, though. I think he would have used it against Roxas if he already had it during their fight.

About the fight with Sora I just think he just wanted Sora to know that he's alive.

Well human, as you stated clearly, the Kingdom Key was supposed to be Riku's, but ended up with Sora! Now, as Riku continued his journey, the darkness in his heart drew in a Keyblade of Darkness, the Soul Eater! Since his heart was still strong even with darkness enveloping it, I'm guessing that's why the kid got another Keyblade!

As for how it evolved into Way Into Dawn, attribute that to his journey of redemption! As he goes along in the series, he fights against himself and is all broody and whatnot, and he's always putting himself in harm's way and whatever!  After all that, the Keyblade changed its form into one that currently symbolizes Riku's redemption! So it's a symbolic kind of evolution, if you think about it!

Remember kiddo, Bill Cipher relayed this to you! ;D

Yep. The Soul Eater was a Keyblade that Riku never realized was a Keyblade, a Keychain isn't necessary for something to be a Keyblade, just like the Keyblade of Heart didn't have one.

Think of Soul Eater as Riku's equivalent of the Kingdom Key, it's Riku's infant or weakest form of Keyblade which manifested when Maleficent unleashed Riku's hidden powers and like all Keyblades it grew in power and changed to reflect the Heart of it's wielder. However, the Way to Dawn could still could take on it's previous form if it's wielder wished it just like how the player can change the protagonist's Keyblade back to it's base form whenever they want. While Riku struggled with the Darkness within him his Keyblade took the form of the Soul Eater to reflect the Darkness in him, and when Riku accepted the Darkness and strove to balance the Light and Darkness within him it became the Way to Dawn Keyblade. When precisely that change occurred and what prompted it isn't shown, especially if Riku decided to use the Soul Eater most of the time for whatever reasons he might have had.

Indeed human, you've expanded my own explanation! It's interesting how Keyblades evolve based on how the person's heart works. Very interesting indeed! :3
