TheNobodyPie 0 Posted September 19, 2010 Final Episode Question/Opinions?! [Contains Spoilers] First Thread, go easy on me? Something has been bugging me about what happens to Terranort at the end of The Final Episode when he is defeated. Terra is clearly fighting for his body back and even goes as far as to turn MX's Keyblade against himself in hopes to kick MX out. This is where my question comes in: Why is it that he failed to push Xehanort out? [i've read that instead of unlocking his heart he actually ends up sealing it up along with both his and MX's memories, which would explain why Xehanort doesn't remember a thing.] We saw MX use his Keyblade on himself and was able to unlock his heart so why is it that it did the opposite this time? I'd say it's because of Xehanort being in Terra's body and therefore the Keyblade would react differently, but we see Sora do the exact same thing with AnsemSOD's Keyblade to unlock his heart in KH1. I still haven't been able to put it together. Maybe you have? or Maybe you have you're own theory? And I guess on a side question, why does sealing his heart cause him to start falling into darkness? ::Heart_XIII:: 2 Posted September 19, 2010 MX does not have control over Terra's body when he stabs himself with the keyblade. He had to do that to get his heart into Terra's body so he could control Terra. Terra is not attacking MX through his own body when he does that. At least, I think that's what you're trying to say? It's a bit confusing to me. =/
heartless101 83 Posted September 19, 2010 Although Terra was the Lingering Sentiment during the time when Aqua fought Terranort, it was Terra's will within Terranort's body that unlocked his heart. I believe that's what happened
TheNobodyPie 0 Posted September 19, 2010 Apologies, maybe I was a bit too wordy with my question. My question in a nutshell is basically why isn't MX's heart pushed out of Terranort when he stabs himself with the Keyblade? The Keyblade he uses is MX's and we've seen it unlock his own heart to take over Terra so why is it that this time it seals the two hearts within Terranort? Actually, that's wrong. It isn't Terra that is trying to kick MX out, it is MX trying to kick Terra out. Yup. But now the question is what exactly happened. Some facts I think will be important in discovering the truth: -In the secret ending during Terra's conversation with Xehanort about the possession of Terra's heart: -the fact that it was terra's darkness giving root to Xehanorts heart -Terra-Xehanort loses his memories and the guardian apears and dissapears -In Aquas last episode while fighting Terranort somehow you end up in a yellow area where the guardian is attacking you but a normal Terra is in there and you can do a dual limit with him. (cant find the video) It seems odd that mx wants to absorb his heart one minute and get rid of it the next. When Terra's heart begins to reside in Eraqus' heart ( or vice-versa) that stops Xehanort from being able to absorb it I think. Anyways so when Xehanort stabs himself, Terra, this somehow causes him to lose his memories. My brain hurts.
