What are your hopes for Final Fantasy XV?

I am wondering what everyone's hopes are for Final Fantasy XV, and I cam curious to hear them here. As for me, I'm hoping that it has a great story, and to see how things go with the combat, which I really like, and experience the main game in it's entirety. This game was what got me into the Final Fantasy series in the first place, so I hope it goes well for me.

That's my only concern. If it's good then I'm okay with it...I don't mind, but I want it to be great too.

I don't care about features and stuff like that as long as it's fun to play and entertaining.

Well human, what I hope from this venture is that it'll provide me with hours of amusement, something to keep me thinking after I'm done with it, ya know? Oh, and that the villains are unforgettable! Music is also important, as it also sets the stage for everything else!

Just that there could be more then one open world type area like in Final Fantasy XIII where it was linear until you got to Grand Pulse and then it was some what open world I don't want that, I also don't mind linear like let the story be that way but give me choices to like go around the world to do side missions and such

Everything with "Final Fantasy" together with "XIII" in its name was the opposite of fun.  Not the least bit helped by extremely shitty characters fleshed out with shitty writing.

 

If nothing else, XV's lack of Motomu Toriyama pretty much guarantees that it can't possibly ever be worse...

I hope its good,we've been waiting for like 10 years and I haven't play a Final Fantasy game in a while,so I just want to have fun with this one,even if its not the best one in the series

I have no doubt it's gonna be good. Reviewers who've played 15 hours in say that it was pretty damn good. I hope it looks gorgeous when it comes to PC.

My hopes are as follows:

 

1\All traces to the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy and Fabula Nova Crystallis in general would be removed

 

2\The game would have the right amount of humor and won't take itself too seriously which was a grave mistake FFXIII and Type-0 made

 

3\Relatable\Likable cast of characters that have more to them than being able to throw cool spells and look "badass" and so far....I'm liking Noctis and his crew

 

4\Less reliance on scripted sequences,heavily cinematic battles and mindless button mashes also have battles with enough strategic depth to them

 

5\a stable framerate

 

6\A well-written plot that would keep me engaged all the way through with less reliance on the usual cliches that Final Fantasy usually loves to spam

 

7\Much lesser amount of pop songs which is a huge problem I had with the soundtrack of the XIII trilogy

 

and finally 8\That the game overall doesn't suck,and that it would teach Square Enix a lesson to not  have Nomura in charge of projects like this while blindly throwing their funds at the man  who kept the project in limbo for 10 years and instead have someone like Tabata and other competent directors be in charge for their next big project.

 

 

And on an off-topic note:DON'T LET NOMURA BE IN CHARGE OF THE FFVII REMAKE,HE'LL SUCK ALL THE CHARM OUT THAT FFVII USED TO HAVE
