ObsidianEagle 103 Posted September 18, 2010 sorry if there's already one like this, but i just have to let out my views: I DO NOT LIKE THE IDEA OF KINECT I BARELY LIKE THE IDEA OF MOVE i don't like kinect because it would be hard to control, and what is wrong with good old buttons? i don't want to jump irl to make my character jump, i wanna press X i guess i'll always be a classic gamer. to me, motion control like kinect is just a gimmick, and won't be that fun most of the time. move i find similar to the wii, it's ok because it has buttons, but i'd still prefer a regular controller
JesusFreak 41 Posted September 23, 2010 I kinda like Move but I hate Kinect. I mean do they really think people these days actually want to move and get exercise? I love being active but I'm sure there are a lot of people who don't want to do anything but lay on their sorry butts all day long. On the wii you could "cheat" and not really move your body just your arm. The Wii Motion doesn't even work good. I feel that anyway. Meh, I really don't think they'll be good at all. But who knows people may like them.
ObsidianEagle 103 Posted September 23, 2010 i think kinect and move would be good as gimmicks, and just for exercise/dance games but i don't like the idea of heavy rain and shooting games without regular controllers
Deadshot 666 Posted September 23, 2010 how can you not like idea of heavy rain it's doing something new and trying to evovle gaming you hhave to repected that they could chance making something people might not be used to.I don't like move or kinect i don't see any big titles going out to it this year. ObsidianEagle 103 Posted September 23, 2010 well i wouldn't want motion control for regular games, just because in the future i don't want to be my character, i want to control my character, preferably with buttons

Deadshot 666 Posted September 24, 2010 ya but they have to use it right.I think 3ds makes me want to buy because of it's solid line up at laucnch and that whats wrong with move and kinect they don't have solid line-up
pspgameboy 6 Posted September 25, 2010 I didn't even realize that the move was out. Kinect is basically an upgraded eyetoy with being able to move the menu interface with it(still prefer to use a controller for this). Meh, in the end I prefer my regular controller instead of gimmick On the wii you could "cheat" and not really move your body just your arm. The Wii Motion doesn't even work good. I feel that anyway. As much as I like some of the games on the wii I'm gonna agree with this. Games that work right with motion mostly come from Nintendo themselves. Even if the motion works right in those games, I still prefer a regular controller especially for 2-D sidescrollers. well glasses free 3D will be quite cool Free after you pay for those glasses that is. 3-D is nothing but a visual gimmick & kinda distracting for me especially for movies which is very over-saturated in theaters and unnecessary for most movies. ya but they have to use it right.I think 3ds makes me want to buy because of it's solid line up at laucnch and that whats wrong with move and kinect they don't have solid line-up I still have to see the 3DS for myself if it makes the gameplay any better otherwise I'm just gonna shut of the 3D effect. I wouldn't say solid yet since most games that have been announced are either remakes or Ports.

AntiSora 0 Posted September 25, 2010 I like Kinect more because it is going for a bigger risk than move which, is basically the Wii.
