Jaguar113 13 Posted October 29, 2016 When I watched the opening for 0.2 and I saw the Castle and I didn't think it was the Castle of Dreams. To me it looks like a completely different castle. At first I thought it was the Enchanted Dominion but looking at it again I can see that it is surrounded by water which both worlds are not and this castle has a different structure and build to it then the Castle of Dreams. I've noticed that the Castle of Dreams has a pointy clock tower but this one doesn't show a close or a pointy tower. I've attached pictures comparing the two versions of the Castle of Dreams from the ending of Birth By Sleep and how it is seen in 0.2 Birth By Sleep and the castle that we see in the 0.2 opening. If you can convince me that this is in fact the Castle of Dreams I would love to hear why, because to me they look different. Also if you believe that it is not too, then what world could it be? Possibly a new one? 1 AndrewHankinson reacted to this

catmaster0116 2,676 Posted October 29, 2016 The front gates confirm that it is the Castle of Dreams. Why its missing the spires/roofs for some of the towers is not clear. If you want a comparison with other castles from Disney, check here
Jaguar113 13 Posted October 29, 2016 Yea I see what you are saying with this picture. The picture does look like the one in the trailer and at Disney world it is Cinderella's castle. However where is the clock tower that belongs to the castle from the games? That picture is this here: This is Cinderella Castle in Walt Disney World and we see it without the spires in the screenshot you posted.
Guest Posted October 31, 2016 It's the Disneyland Castle. The Castle is symbolic of all the Disney worlds falling into darkness.
Dagesh Lene 366 Posted November 1, 2016 (edited) I have looked at pictures of every Disney castle from the movies, from the parks, and from Kingdom Hearts that I know of, and none of them look like the castle that appears in this cinematic introduction. I don't know if I am just seeing it wrong, if it is a redesign of one of the castles, if it is a new castle, if it is just some random castle that Square-Enix made for the cinematic introduction that isn't actually important, or what. Yes, there are some similarities to known Disney castles, but none of them look just like this castle. To my knowledge, there are no Disney castles that I could find that are on an island surrounded by water with a stone bridge leading to it, has towers with no spires, is surrounded by a wall with many spire-less towers on it, and has its tallest tower in the front center of the castle. The Disney castle that I think has the most similarities to this castle is Cinderella castle in Walt Disney World, which many have pointed out already. However, there are still some design differences, and it looks like parts of the castle were switched around and put in different places. But that is just the result of my research. I could be wrong. AndrewHankinson 311 Posted November 4, 2016 I thought this as well. That it doesn't look like the castles in the films themselves, and is most similar to the castle at disneyworld (without the spires). Although now reading through this discussion here's a thought: what if it's somehow part of the attraction features to be in kh3? maybe how they originate or the explanation for them are in 2.8? Jaguar113 13 Posted November 4, 2016 It's the Disneyland Castle. The Castle is symbolic of all the Disney worlds falling into darkness. I really like this theory. It makes sense because why would they show all the castles when they could have one that is symbolic of all of them showing the time that they fell to darkness in the games timeline right after bbs. I have looked at pictures of every Disney castle from the movies, from the parks, and from Kingdom Hearts that I know of, and none of them look like the castle that appears in this cinematic introduction. Yea with the pictures that I attached it doesn't make sense that it would be a redesign because we've seen how the Castle of Dreams looks like in the 2.8 gameplay showing that the castle in the cinematic opening is a completely different castle. VisitJoan 2,713 Posted November 5, 2016 Plot twist: It's the castle at Disneyland. The actual castle. In all seriousness though, I just assumed it was Castle of Dreams because we've already seen it there before.
