AwesomeKHfan 1,250 Posted October 23, 2016 I see there is alot of negativity so tell me what you don't like about the KH storyline Mine is: Time travel Everyone has a keyblade Unchained X don't ask Maybe more but I'm kinda tired so tell me what you think
Felixx 6,646 Posted October 23, 2016 All the retcons/contradictions. Like Donald and Goofy forgetting how Yen Sid's tower looks like, Xehanort knowing to create the X-Blade you need 13 Darknesses and 7 lights, and yet he still made that failed try in BBS. Besides that I love everything 1 ReverofE reacted to this

Awesome Sauce 634 Posted October 23, 2016 -Asspulls and retcons -Hints at the revival of and bringing back dead characters with the exception of the BBS trio. -Disney worlds being filler in every game except KH1 (ESPECIALLY KH2) -The forced separation of TAV. It came out of nowhere and there was nothing before this point in BBS that warranted this scene. -Xehanort being a Know-it-All -Kairi doing nothing -The most convoluted version of time travel I've ever seen 1 ReverofE reacted to this
RikuFangirl2008 1,368 Posted October 23, 2016 (edited) Xehanort Xehanort Xehanort Xehanort Xehanort Xehanort and XEHA- FREAKING- DARKNESS OBSEESED-NORT! Every firetrucking thing this man has done to ruin folks lives! Can't stress this enough... Edited October 23, 2016 by RikuFangirl2008
palizinhas 102 Posted October 23, 2016 - DDD saying everything Xemnas and Ansem SoD did was about Xehanort when there was never any indication of that, it felt unnecessary - BBS treating its characters badly and inconsistently for the sake of making the story work, instead of doing something that wasn't cheap - Forgetting that Kairi is in theory the female lead and using literally every other character more than her - Chi/Unchained using the exact same worlds over again, with pretty much the exact same story. CoM and coded were enough
The 13th Kenpachi 4,279 Posted October 23, 2016 (edited) The story has become a joke, I wouldn't be surprised if Kitase and Toriyama make fun of Nomura for it. I see this one all the time and always have to retype paragraphs upon paragraphs. I don't like the storylines of BBS, Unchained Chi, Chi and DDD. I can't be bothered to reiterate myself for the 500th time. Shimmy 458 Posted October 23, 2016 (edited) I love all the bullshit ngl. I love how Nomura just does whatever he wants and has fun with the story rather than plan everything out. The result is ridiculous, over-the-top, and nonsensical and I love every single second of it because I'm just here to have fun lol Things I dislike? Riku's angst in every game bar Re: Coded and DDD Kairi's under utilization The lack of Disney importance thats literally it lol you couldn't pay me to care about the rest Edited October 23, 2016 by Shimmy
thatkingdomheartsguy 153 Posted October 23, 2016 -Everything about DDD -Everything about BBS -Everything lol in all seriousness though, l would've been perfectly fine up to KH2, but then they needed to make a million other games explaining backstory and expanding lore, which ultimately just makes things more confusing. I'm an avid KH player, but without a guide online, I would honestly have no idea how time travel in DDD works or what the book of prophecies even is. Goes to show how convoluted the story has become. Movies798 1,358 Posted October 23, 2016 What I dislike the most is the time travel element in Dream Drop Distance. I love everything else in the series so far.
Isaix 924 Posted October 23, 2016 Time travel The fact that nobody can stay dead,As much as I like Roxas he should have stayed dead,Ventus will comeback in KH3 and that's good enough,Xion,Xemnas,Ansem,Namine,Eraqus should all he dead and stay dead.I don't mind seeing Axel returning as Lea though and all the other Org member,it kinda makes sense
ReverofE 698 Posted October 23, 2016 Time Travel Disney Filler Worlds Disney Villains/Characters Losing Relevance. Master Xehanort being the Aizen of this series. Sora's own personality being exaggerated. Where he becomes less unique & more like a shounen anime protagonist. Unchained & Unchained X The fact that Xion can appear in one game & already be more important than Kairi. Kairi not getting any screentime, character development, etc. More Keyblade Wielders. Master Eraqus for not warning Aqua, Terra, or Yen Sid about Xehanort's plans, not accusing Xehanort of ruining the BBS exam despite having his face disfigured by MX (who used darkness on his face), not warning Aqua the urgency of bringing Ventus home, teaching his students (especially Terra) that darkness is evil, being an overall bigot when it comes to using Light. The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted October 24, 2016 Honestly, I love the storyline of the Kingdom Hearts series! It's a riveting and engrossing story, with plenty of twists and turns! The only thing I don't like about the series is that we didn't get any sort of character development for the other Organization members in 358/2 Days! True, the game was supposed to tell the story of Roxas and his time in the Organization, but the game could have also shed light on the other Organization members, so we could see their motivations, their reasons for being where they are, seeing them interact more, ya know, that kind of stuff! That's what bummed me out about Days! That was lost potential right there!
Trece the Xam ( ▀ ͜͞ʖ▀) 3,859 Posted October 24, 2016 Xehanort Xehanort Xehanort Xehanort Xehanort Xehanort and XEHA- FREAKING- DARKNESS OBSEESED-NORT! Every firetrucking thing this man has done to ruin folks lives! Can't stress this enough... Why? If it wasn't for him the whole plot would be meaningless and probably wouldn't even have happened. I do think he's a good villain. Although I can get that you don't like him because he's a villain Things I don't like... I could take this as a joke as always, or make it a massive rant. I don't have time, so I won't turn it into a rant tho I'll just say a couple of things like... · Time travell · Disney (except for PotC of course) · Sora post CoM (gradually getting worse, he was still fine in KH2) I'll stop for now because I have to go, but if you want to know more details check out DemyxIsBest and SmashMegaKoopa's rants about KH, I agree with 95% of what they say, and that 5% is just stuff like personal taste of what character/game/whatever is better and stuff like that
Smithee 327 Posted October 26, 2016 (edited) 1. MX being such a blatantly shoehorned Villain Sue. 2. His overly convoluted and specific time-travel (versus, say, the reasonable and simple Timeless River shenanigans from KH2). 3. The more-recent games going out of their way to make the good guys' efforts look as bleak and ineffective as possible. ... Wait, why does that all sound so familiar? ... ... Solstice 749 Posted October 29, 2016 How they say in KH1 that keyboards are very choosey about their masters, but later on they begin handing them out like Oprah
KeybladeMasterDeadpoolio 55 Posted October 31, 2016 The part I dislike most is the huge "tell, don't show" problem this series has. 1 The 13th Kenpachi reacted to this
Marionetta 14 Posted October 31, 2016 - The storyline started out simple, and then it became convoluted and weird. - Too many characters - The conversations the characters had sometimes didn't make sense. - Non-optional minigames.
