  1. 1. Will you get the Nintendo Switch?

If Kingdom Hearts 2.8 and Persona 5 end up on the Nintendo Switch then I am not going to buy a PS4 slim. I'm so intrigued by what the revealed games are going to be...

Personally, it's a guarantee that Kingdom Hearts III will be on the Switch. Square Enix is a Japanese company, and believe it or not, the Wii U sold on par with the PS4 in Japan anyway.

SE is not so crazy as to forget about the NA base though. Notice in Japan, the PS VITA is tremendously more popular than in NA and EU. Yet, Sony themselves stopped supporting the Vita, and now (At least where I live) it's a collector's item. But in Japan? A whole bunch of exclusive unlocalized games (sure you can import, but in addition to having to know Japanese, you have to be willing to spend extra money too, two things most people don't go out their way to do.

All I'm saying is KH3 might be extremely easy to port on the Switch, but even so, we can't say it's confirmed because SE and especially Disney can do anything really to stop it. Even if it means ostracizing some fans.

That being said, I WANT to find a reason to sell my PS4 till inFAMOUS comes out. So KHIII being on the Switch would make me very happy.

The Switch is basically confirmed BC by the trailer. Literally all of the games currently on Wii U are seen on it, including Breath of the Wild, Splatoon and the like. What's more, it doesn't look at all like an upgrade to graphics-it's definitely Wii U caliber games in their original form,

I dunno about all games being cartridge though... I doubt Nintendo would make so many of those Wii U games for cartridge. I speculate there's a disc reader even in the tablet form'

Backwards Compatibility was actually confirmed to not be a feature on the Switch, at least in physical format. Here's the source.

I'm not planning on getting rid of my Wii U so this doesn't really bother me, it sucks for people that didn't get a Wii U and won't be able to play any of its games though.
