Spoopy Roleplay Interest Check

Hey guys it's that time of the year again- time for some spookiness! As a result I think it'd be a cool idea for some story driven spooky roleplays!

I have a couple of ideas for these Halloween roleplays. Many of these ideas are based off of Creepypastas.

 

Candle Cove: With this popular creepypasta that just now have turned into a popular scary show on SyFy (Channel Zero: Candle Cove) this roleplay will be about the basics of the creepypasta. A children's cartoon that few who remember watching it remember rather disturbing details of the children's show. Upon futhur research, it is discovered that those who watched it were just watching static on the TV the entire time. Does that mean the show never existed, or is there something unexplainable? This roleplay will take place in present times, where the show comes back and children are watching it. You could be one of these children or an adult trying to stop whatever the show could possibly be.

 

This is another idea branching off of the Candle Cove one; what if the show was broadcasted all over the world and plunged the world into an apocalypse like senario? People start to go insane. Think of the Crazies almost.

 

This next idea I found more interesting, especially since the creepypasta it is based on is very interesting. This is the creepypasta known as the Flesh Market. Just beware this idea will be rather gruesome, although we can tone it down as well as provide hints to the more gruesome details.

The creepypasta revolves around a market in England I believe. This market is very secret. The currency of this market is... Flesh. You sacrifice your own body in return for a wide variety of goods. I don't remember it too well although I'm definitely gonna revisit the story. Basically you can give away say an arm in return for a wish. The problem is, you must give away your own body. If you are caught giving away someone's else's body, they will take that part of you on the spot.

This idea now will take place in like a Victorian and Jack the Ripper era. I may mix this with some more modern themes. Basically in this crime ridden London, a group of sorcerers run the Flesh Market. Many of them down want to, but it's a means to make money in such hard times. Some of these Sorcerers come out in their own times as well to use their magic to help solve crimes that are against the Flesh Market and solve crimes that either the police don't bother with, or cannot solve themselves. Think of it as a sort of secret group of officers. I'd love to get more into this idea and explain it more.

Yeah I understand. I don't want to make it too too scary. I want the roleplay to be something almost everyone can enjoy, even if they aren't really horror fans.

I would just make a HetaOni roleplay with all of us using OCs but... That's gonna be really big and the plot so confusing

I'm not into creepypasta so I might not be the target audience here (I do like horror though), but I'd say that the first idea seems like it'd be more interesting. I think that it'd be easier to get a more complete story with that one.

Don't worry it's just based on the concept in the creepypasta. You don't have to like creepypasta.

I'll see what other ideas the other roleplayers here like, but for the first one, we can discuss how the story could go.

Same here. They did perfect with the Candle Cove segments. It looks perfect to how it was described in the creepypasta.

I'd imagine the person did. Ifs funny I actually hate horror, or at least, I'm very sensitive to it due to past experiences but it's weird, it takes a lot for me to actuallt want to see it. It's just so interesting

Its on Hulu, and Freeform with 10 episodes. Like Once, and Lost it contains flashbacks. Sorry about that one Once rp I made.
