Hey there everyone, how's it going?  So then, as we all know, Disney films are amazing, and they are beloved by one and all! (Heck, part of the reason we're in this site is because part of the KH franchise is Disney, ya know? :P) And well, over the decades, Disney has created unforgettable films! And well, I want to talk about my top five favorite Disney Animated Classics films from the 1990's! I, The Friendly Neighborhood Webhead, present this video to you!  Enjoy! :D

1. The Lion King (Pretty obvious)

2. Tarzan (I have a strong relation with this film)

3. Toy Story and Toy Story 2 (If Pixar counts...if not then-> continue list)

4. Beauty and the Beast (Can't wait to see remake, Belle was the big princess when I was a kid and one of the most memorable while Beast stands as one of my favorites)

5. Aladdin (Awesome performance by Robin Williams, great visuals and overall feel, I wish KH got the feel right rather than just a desert town, though Cave of Wonders was somewhat fun)

(If #3 doesn't apply) 5. Mulan ( I rented it for a road trip and ended up really liking it, Mushu is a great character, and I don't think of Mulan as any transgender)

Honorable Mention: Hunchback of Notre Dame, A Goofy Movie

1. Beauty and the Beast (There are so many memories tied to this one. I remember when I was a kid, when Gaston flashes his chest hair, I felt like my eyes were burning. As I grow older, Beast became my favorite Disney character.

2. Hunchback of Notre Dame (Quasimodo in a way, I can relate to when it comes to staying in a safe place.)

3. Rescuers Down Under (In a way filled with funny stuff, like when Wilbur was at the emergency room with the medical mice.)

4. Pocahontas (I think I remember as a kid being fond of this movie. I also remember having coloring books, watercolor book, a doll, a small tent set with the food toys, and I think that's it.)

5. Fantasia 2000 (I remember watching this film with my dad a number of times on a cable channel, as we were waiting for my brother coming back from his Amtrak Train Field Trip. I love it because of the Classical music and that's one of the genres of music I listen to.)

For me, I pretty much grew up with Disney. All of the ones I've seen are fantastic in their own right.

1) The Hunchback of Notre Dame (without a doubt, one of my most favourite Disney films of all time, when it comes to pure and solid animation. It was dark, it was serious and it was somewhat light in parts thanks to the relationship between Quasimodo and the gargoyles and the soundtrack was on point)

2) Pocahontas (now this film is an instant classic for me, this is one of those rare films where I can watch over and over again without being bored and I love the soundtrack, the visuals of this film are absolutely stunning)

3) Beauty and the Beast (Alan Menken's music, quality animation and the amusing and relateable characters sold the film for me!)

4) Aladdin (unforgettable characters and solid storyline kept me hooked throughout the entire film - I mean, who can forget the loveable Robin Williams (RIP)'s Genie huh?)

5) Robin Hood (I grew up watching this so many times it's insane, I love the comedy, the romance, and the serious storyline / backdrop behind the animation, they just blend together so well)

Honourable Mentions: Tarzan (was a close call between Robin Hood and Tarzan but it's still an enjoyable film nonetheless), The Black Couldron (one of the most underrated animated films of all time, I wish there was a world based on this for Kingdom Hearts!!), Peter Pan (I love seeing the adventures of Pan and his Lost Boys, they're so funny), Treasure Planet and Atlantis The Lost Empire (these two underrated classics are classics in their own right. These need to be seen to be believed and I really hope they get to be a part of Kingdom Hearts one day!), and Basil The Great Mouse Detective (I have a soft spot for Sherlock Holmes so this fit right at home for me, very enjoyable film in my opinion).

Well, as with most of my own top lists, I prefer to do them in no order as so none shall overshadow the other.

1. Fantasia (honorable mention goes to 2000), granted I used to own 2000 on VHS as a youngin, I just love how well the animation meshes with the music. Walt Disney at his finest when he was alive.

2. Toy Story Trilogy: just the idea that toys coming to life and conflicting with each other is genius. I also love the writing.

3. Mulan: Love the atmosphere of it and the Chinese influence.

4. Hunchback of Notre Dame: the animation is excellent and Frollo remains to this day one of the most human Disney villains ever.

Least Favorite goes to:

Chicken Little: I used to watch it a lot as a kid, but now I've realized just how so mean spirited it is. The CGI is really dated and you can obviously see its Disneys first attempt and well before masterpieces like Zootopia and Frozen. Everyone of the side characters is just a really big jerk to the main character.

Those are some pretty awesome picks, Dax!  All the films you mentioned are definitely awesome!  Ooh, and A Goofy Movie! Gahh, I love it so much, and it's sequel too! Bill Farmer really outdid himself as Goofy in those films! :3

Nice, nice, definitely good choices!  You know, I've yet to see Fantasia! For all the stuff I've heard about the film, I've never watched it! :O

Awesome, man, great choices on your part!  And ya know, I've always wanted to see The Black Cauldron, as I've heard that it's one of Disney's hidden gems! I wonder why it wasn't all that liked? :O

Great picks, my friend!  Ooh, Chicken Little!  That's one of my favorite Disney films!  I always watched it as a kid, and even now, to this day, I just love the film so much! It's so funny, and Chicken Little really stands out as a character who wants to show he can be his own man!  That when push comes to shove, he can get things done and make his dad proud!  But yeah, it was messed up how everyone thought he was crazy!  But hey, at least his friends were there for him, ya know? :3

But yeah, Disney has been such a big part of our lives, eh? :')
