XxUtopiaxX 49 Posted October 8, 2016 (edited) Sign Ups and Story are here! --------------------------- http://kh13.com/forum/topic/100642-naruto-generations-legend-of-the-twilight-orb-sign-ups-and-discussion/ Lets Begin! "And here are our recent reports on the current situation regarding the Villages of Heaven and Shadows," Shikamaru slapped down the pile of enveloped papers on the 6th Hokage's table. Kakashi picked up and opened the envelopes to read the content inside. "We are just about cornered. The enemy has too many advantages, making us both outnumbered and outclassed. We are requesting help from as many villages as we can to aid us in this battle! -Heaven" Kakashi read aloud. "Well at least there's a huge reward here," Kakashi pointed to the millions of ryo that was included in the documents. Shikamaru sighed. "Yeah, money's nice. What are we gonna do Lord Hokage?" Shikamaru replied. Kakashi sat back in his chair and turned towards the window behind him. The morning sun's rays kissed the village, revealing such a beautiful creation that the first Hokage left behind. "I don't want any of my comrades dying. First, we need to check out this quarrel between these two villages, seeing that we know little about both the village in the shadow and heavens. I'll choose a two-man squad from this village. Also," Kakashi paused. "Send word to the other villages. We will be participating in this mission as well and have agreed to meet them at the Fire Temple tomorrow," He finished. "Got it. Also, who are the three we are sending from the Leaf?" Shikamaru responded. "Renmaru Senju and led by Sai..." Ren ---------------------- "Whelp. That about wraps up the mission don't you think?" Ren asked Kiba as the two looked down on the pair of ninja they had captured. He, Kiba, and Hanabi had been sent on a mission to detain three rogue ninja with sensitive intel on a classified topic. "Not yet. I'm sensing one more trying to escape!" Hanabi shouted using her Byakugan to track him down. "Roger. I'm on it," Ren replied, jumping off in the direction Hanabi was looking. Ren quickly caught up to the escaping ninja and weaved one hand seal for the regular clone jutsu. The clone darted off in another direction to corner the ninja. Ren weaved a couple of handsigns to prepare for his next jutsu. "Water Release: Raging Waves!" Ren shouted. Ren took a deep breath and exhaled to release a stream of high pressured waters towards the escaping ninja. The target, sensing the impending danger, changed his escape path from the trees to the ground - exactly what Ren wanted. Ren jumped down, weaving more handseals, then placed his hands on the ground. "Earth Release: Mud Wall!" Ren shouted. A wall of earth rose from the ground in front of the target ninja. "Stop where you are," Ren shouted. The ninja raised his hands and slowly turned around. "You cannot stop our grand mission!" The ninja retorted. "Grand mission?" Ren questioned. Ren's clone had caught up with the two, dropping himself down on the target ninja with his sword in hand. However, by then, the ninja had disappeared by means that Ren couldn't begin to explain. Edited October 8, 2016 by XxUtopiaxX
Stardustblade358 806 Posted October 9, 2016 "They're almost at their wits end, apparently."It was another sunny day in the Village Hidden in the Sand, the Kazekage known as Gaara looking down at the request sent in by the Village Hidden among the Heavens. They were at war against the Village Hidden in the Shadows, and while a war in between villages wasn't something that they would get involved unless necessary, something had caught the attention to their request of help. The money offered. Millions of it, in fact, and with a village hidden among the desert and rough terrain, even with the help of the family who could change the weather, money was something eagerly accepted, especially when resources became scarce. It was never bad to have too much. "I don't want to end up sending my best on a foolish quarrel. But...such persistence cannot be ignored, either. Neither their generous offer. Agents have been found around our territory, and all encounters have been hostile soo far...we need to know more of this war, and its participants." Gaara spoke, looking down at the papers. "A message arrived earlier from the Leaf. They will be helping out as well, and meeting in the Fire Temple tomorrow." Temari said, her arms crossed. "Then that is where we shall go." "Who will you send?" Gaara paused, thinking of an answer. "If I may speak." A voice spoke, a young man standing by the window. A shinobi himself, his eyes a shade of green and his hair a shade of purple recognized anywhere. "I think I have a suggestion of someone to send, if you will allow it." The young man said. "Who might it be, Ame?" Gaara asked, curiously listening to the shinobi of the Orokana clan. "Well, I know that I am to be busy with the missions assigned to me...but how about my sister, Arashi?" ... "Get back here!" Across the sand and rough trenches that made up the territory, a small group of genin were out on a quick patrol in the area that surrounded the large village. They were suppose to do as told, walk around, check for any suspicious activity, and head back. But they had encountered a mysterious figure lurking around, and when they had tried to help it, or at least talk to it, it ran off. So of course, the trio began to run after it in hopes of catching a glimpse of who they were. "Darn it! How they haven't gotten tired already?!" Arashi complained, running across the sand. "Guys we should head back, we're nearing the end of the trench. We aren't allowed to go further than that!" Her fellow genin, a young girl named Neema spoke as she ran along. "Hey, Arashi, can't you do something with that weather thing of yours?!" Rolo complained, looking over. "Unless you want me to bring up a sandstorm to swallows us all, no. Besides, I have to get closer!" Arashi insisted. She concentrated, lifting her hands up as she aimed at the figure ahead. "Wind Blast Waves!" Arashi called, controlling the wind as she began to shoot a bunch of waves of wind towards the enemy, creating one in the shape of a small twister to try and keep it from escaping. The wind rose the sand from the ground, causing a large sandstorm in the area and around the figure. The figure could barely move before more sand began to simply explode around it from the surges of wind. Soon the twister arrived, mixing with the sand as it created a sand twister that surrounded the figure, trapping it. "Alright!" Arashi cheered, running over as Rolo took out his weapon. "Neema, ready?" "Ready when you are." Arashi nodded, breathing in as she called off the wind, the twister slowly losing power before disappearing only sand left behind as it began to fall to the ground. "You're surrounded! State your business and..." Rolo began, however, as the sand cleared up, it revealed...an empty space. If the mysterious figure was there, it was long gone. As if they had disappeared into thin air. "...huh?! No way!" Arashi yelled, walking over as she looked around the area. No footprints. No nothing. Poof. He was gone. "HE WAS RIGHT HERE!!!" Arashi groaned. Rolo sighed. "Well...all we can do is report it now." Rolo said as he looked up at the sky. "We should head back. Otherwise we will get in trouble." Rolo suggested. "Yes! Let's head back! You know, like we should have done before?!" Neema insisted, crossing her arms as she turned around. "We're going. Don't need to get your stockings in a twist. Arashi, lets go. If we stay out here beyond our curfew we'll be asked to clean the whole training hall. Again." Rolo insisted. Arashi looked around the area once more, disappointed of the fact that they had gotten away. "No fair..." With that, the three hurried back to the inside of the village. XxUtopiaxX 49 Posted October 10, 2016 "The last ninja escaped successfully by means unknown to us," Kakashi finished the report Ren's team had given him. The three stood at attention while the Hokage evaluated their mission report. "Well from what I'm seeing here, you all failed your mission to intercept any intel carrier that could potentially destroy our village. But at least we do have some leads, two of them to be exact," Kakashi said. "I had the enemy cornered, I know I did. But he did some kind of unknown..." Ren stopped at the hand Kakashi gave him signaling for him to stop. "Kiba. Hanabi. You are both dismissed," Kakashi ordered. Kiba and Hanabi took their bow and left the room. Kakashi turned his chair towards the window to gaze upon the evening sun. "We have those targets detained. Inoichi Yamanaka investigated them thoroughly," Kakashi paused as he began sifting through the piled up files on his desk until he found two yellow folders. He gave them to Ren to read. "Warren Black and Kite Black. Brothers of a mysterious clan known as Black and genin from the Hidden Shadow Village," Kakashi said. Ren looked at the two files. "We don't have much intel on the discoveries of the Village of Shadows or of Heaven, however, the Village among the Heavens have called to us, and other villages, for help. We also don't know why the Village in the Shadows are gathering intel on our village," Kakashi said. Ren seemed a bit confused about the whole situation. Sure, he had heard about the whole discovery about the villages and their feud, but what did that have to do with him? "Lord Hokage.." Ren began to trail off. "I appreciate you for telling me this, but why sir?" Ren asked. "Ah, I was just getting to that," Kakashi responded. "I know it's a bit sudden, but I'm sending you on an A-Ranked mission with Sai. Considering your abilities, you should be okay. Tomorrow afternoon, you will meet the other representatives from the various villages and travel to the Village Hidden among the Heavens to help their cause," Kakashi said. "Yes sir!" Ren replied, a little nervous. He bowed and took his leave. He had never been in a war before.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted October 11, 2016 "I'm home!" Arashi called, taking off her shoes at the entrance of her home. It was a moderate size home, for her family size. In his home lived her grandmother, mother, father, and siblings. "Welcome home, Arashi! Wash your hands, dinner's almost ready!" Her mother called, her husband helping her out as he began to set out the plates. "Welcome back." Arashi's father said with a smile. "How was your mission?" Teased Taiyo, rubbing Arashi's head as he took his seat, young little Yuki right behind. "We saw a suspicious figure just outside the inner ridges. We tried to chase them but they got away!" Arashi said as she walked over and sat down next to Taiyo. "You didn't get hurt, did you?" Her father asked, setting down a large bowl of rice. "No. We should have captured them though! We told sensei but he said that there was nothing more we could do..." Arashi puffed her cheeks. She wasn't happy that it got away. She needed to one-up her brother. "You did what you could, didn't you? That should be more than enough." Her mother assured, sitting down as she opened up a pot of wroth. The scent of the delicious vegetables mixed together swift through the air, leaving the three siblings almost hypnotized. "Calm your horses you'll all get your turn." The matriarch, her grandmother said as she gently took her own seat. "Good evening, grandma." The three siblings said with a bow of the head. Afterwards they began to serve and eat. "How were the fields, Taiyo?" Her grandmother asked, picking up her served bowl. "Handling well, despite the heatwave." Taiyo explained. "Yuki helped me change the weather for the orchard building today." "That's right!" Yuki said with a smile. "Well aren't you a fast learner, Yuki." Her grandmother praised. "Fun." Arashi said with a hum. She knew the good of their work. To create weather that could mean the difference between life or death, to help the crops grow and keep the village from going into severe drought. But at the same time it sounded...boring. Simple. Too simple for her outgoing taste. Which is why she chose to follow the life of a shinobi, despite always being reminded that she was always welcomed back to work with the crops. The front door opened. "I'm home!" Ame called. "Welcome home!" Everyone said as they ate. Ame walked into the room, smiling as he gave a small bow. "Sorry I'm late. I was caught up with the Kazekage, actually." Ame said. "The Kazekage? Did you get in trouble?!" Yuki gasped, looking up at Ame. "No no. I just had to report to him and got caught up with planning something...involving you, Arashi." Ame spoke. Arashi quickly looked up from her bowl. "Me?" "Yeah." Ame smiled, wary of the glances from the room. "You are to go mister Konkuro on a mission tomorrow. You are to meet with representatives of other villages, and represent our village to meet with the Village Hidden within the Heavens." Ame explained. Arashi gasped, her eyes twinkling. "Seriously?! You're not joking, are you?!" "Nope. The Kazekage ordered himself after I put in a good word for you." Ame assured. Arashi jumped onto her feet, throwing her arms in the air. "YES! YES! YES! Thank you Ame!" Arashi cheered. She would finally leave the village on a mission! "I have to start to pack!" And with that, Arashi ran up the stairs to her room. "I'M GOING ON AN ACTUAL MISSION!!!" Then silence. "...this is about their war, isn't it?" The father spoke, glancing up at Ame. "It is. They are simply to go and see what assistance to they need. It shouldn't be dangerous." Ame said, but the mother's tone said otherwise. "You brought her up?" She asked accusingly. Ame didn't hide it as he frowned. "Yes. I did. I think it will be a good opportunity for her. To leave the village even. She's a shinobi. We cannot keep her sheltered forever." Ame insisted, as always, mature despite his young age. The father gently got a hand on his wife's shoulder. "He has a point. If not now she would be sent later...and this sounds like a mission of diplomacy. It should not be dangerous. Especially with other villages and Kokuro going." He assured. The mother sighed and settled back down. The father looked over at Taiyo and Yuki. "Not a single word of this leaves this house. Understood?" "Yes father." "Good." Silence again, Ame serving up his plate before hearing the grandmother chuckle softly. "She certainly inherited your father's spunk." She hummed, looking over at her daughter. "She's so young though." The mother murmured. "It's fine. Let her explore. If she doesn't get hurt, she won't learn to get back up. Besides. With that attitude, she's better learning to become strong...who knows, maybe she'll do something amazing with it." With that, there was no further discussion in the matter. Just for future references, until you are accepted, you can't post on a roleplay thread. Welcome on board ) As nightfall came fast approaching, Ren could be seen sitting on the roof of a house staring at the Hokage faces carved into the mountain behind the village. So much was on his mind already, like the history of his clansmen, and now this? He, a genin, going into the midst of a war that the village knew nothing about. "Yo, Ren," A voice called from behind him. Ren turned around to see Naruto standing over him. "Whatareya doing here bud?" Naruto questioned. "Well I've just been thinking about Hashirama," Ren replied. Naruto took a seat next to Ren. The moon slowly became more and more prominent as the evening sun took it's leave on the village. "See, from since I was young, my clan had always talked about Hashirama and his brothers. They would always talk about how amazing they were. And since I'm a pride of my clan, they expect much from me as well. However, I've studied extensively in the elements I was blessed with, and I feel like I am at a point where I just can't learn much anymore," Ren paused to look up to the beautiful array of stars shining over the village. Night was always beautiful for Ren, mysterious yet comforting for him. "I have a mission tomorrow. I'm supposed to help out the village in the Heavens in their war against the village in the Shadows. I'm nervous," Ren concluded. The winds bristled past the two, brushing their hair to the side a little. "You know, Ren," Naruto began. "The Senju clan is pretty amazing. I fought alongside gramps, all three of them, in the war. They're pretty amazing, yeah," Naruto finished his sentence. "However, Ren, you're born with three elements. Have you ever tried combining them?" Naruto asked. Ren looked confused. He had never thought of combining elements before, though it'd make sense. The wood style was created from mixing both water and earth, elements that Ren had. "Yeah kekkei genkai is made by mixing two elements together. When I was young, I fought a pretty skilled Ice user," Naruto laughed, remembering old times of when he and his team fought Zabuza and Haku. "But don't worry, Ren. You'll do great on the mission. You've got the skills of that rivaling among many jounin in this village. I believe in you," Naruto stood up to give Ren a fist bump. Somehow, Naruto's words gave him strength. "You got it," Ren replied happily. He was going to come home, stronger than he had been before.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted October 14, 2016 (edited) Arashi ran all around her room, trying to decide what she would have to take for the mission. Obviously she would have to take her naginata, which would be strapped to her back. Kunai, Shuriken, maybe some explosive tags? She couldn't carry that much anyways. She sat on her bed, her head protector on the red wooden nightstand next to her bed. She cleaned her weapons, getting sand and any dirt off them, even if they were meant to get dirty again anyways. She would be going on probably the most important mission in her young life so far! She couldn't help but to be excited as she as. A knock on her door brought her attention back out of her thoughts. "Come in!" She chimed. The door opened to reveal her grandmother. "May I come in?" She asked. "Grandma Hana! Sure, come sit down!" Arashi said with a smile, offering her grandmother a seat on the chair next to the desk. Grandmother Hana took it gladly, sitting down ever so gently. "Excited for your mission?" She asked. Arashi nodded. "Yeah. It'll be my first time outside of the village. I can barely contain my excitement! I'll get to see other villages, and meet other shinobi!" Arashi went on, smiling brightly as her mind went wild with imagination. "That's good. Though you should remember that this is not a vacation, but a mission. There will be danger. You cannot simply go around and act like a tourists when you might be in possible enemy territory." Grandmother Hana reminded, bringing a surprised look from Arashi. "O-Of course! The mission comes first and utmost, I just...well...I've never been outside of this village and...well..." Arashi murmured, now feeling embarrassed. Her grandmother softly rubbed her head, ruffling her hair. "Don't worry. It's natural to be excited of something new. That's how humans are." Grandmother Hana assured. "Do you know why I decided to settle down here?" "Yes. You told me that you fell in love with a shinobi from here so you left your clan to marry him and remain here." Arashi said, almost reciting the story she had heard many times before. "And do you know what impact we have done here?" "Yes. You began using your techniques to be able to make the area favorable for farming at your house, then you began to spread such techniques to the rest of the harvest district...so on so on..." Arashi hummed. It was hard not to hear the story over and over again. It was the one thing that made them such an important family. Helping with the village to keep up with food and water supply when otherwise the village could have gone under a scarce of resources or drought due to the harsh weather that this village was constantly under. In many forms, though not in the biggest of ways, her family indeed changed things in the village for the better, and so far three generations had followed the tradition of becoming farmers and using these techniques to help with such farming. However Arashi and Ame weren't one of them. "May I ask why are we talking about this, grandmother?" Arashi asked. "I just wanted to remind you that you should not let your heritage define you." Grandmother Hana said as she gently pushed away some hair away from Arashi's eyes. "You have decided to live the life of a shinobi. That is the life you have chosen. If you begin to question it, then you won't be able to accomplish it at the best of your ability. You were named after the fierceness of a storm. Don't limit yourself...and don't disappoint us." With that, Grandmother Hana stood up, walking out of her bedroom. "Good night, Arashi!" And like that, she was gone, closing the door behind her. Arashi blinked a few times, frowning a bit as she pouted. She looked over at her forehead protector, picking it up in her hands. "...right. I won't let anyone down." And with that, she turned in for the night, sleeping until the next day. Edited October 16, 2016 by Stardustblade358
XxUtopiaxX 49 Posted October 22, 2016 (Sorry about that guys. College had me busy all week and I had to make plans for the shadow village) Ren awoke to the birds chirping outside his window. The sun's rays beaming down on his bedsheets through his window reflected a beautiful rainbow glow. It was morning. Ren got himself dressed, sharpened his tools, and packed his belongings. This was going to be a long journey so he had to carefully prepare. He looked at a picture on his dresser of friends from his village. He already missed him since he moved to the Leaf Village and he was going to miss them more because of the place he was going. He put his bag on his back and opened his door. He was supposed to meet up with Sai at the front gate. Ren thought back on his conversation with Naruto. Mixing elements huh? Guess I'll try it, Ren thought as he left his room. "Oi! Ren. You're late!" Sai shouted from the front gate. "Only by 5 minutes!" Ren joked. He had been lost in his thoughts from since he walked out his room. Ren loses track of time when he is in his thoughts. "Yeah, yeah," Sai sighed and pointed to the gate. "Let's get moving," Sai said. ~Meanwhile~ Nazo respectfully knocked on the giant doors leading to the throne room. His bothers were recently captured by Leaf Ninjas and he was the only one left. "Come in," A voice called to him. Nazo pushed on the door and knelt before the king sitting on the throne."Ah. Nazo Black. You have returned with a successful mission yes?" The king asked Nazo. "Yes my lord. However, my brothers were captured. I was the only one who made it back," Nazo answered. The man sitting on the throne nodded to one of his knights that surrounded him. The knight marched over to Nazo to retrieve the intel. "Well that isn't a problem. Your brothers are strong and I'm sure you could've beaten them all had the mission been different," The king responded as the knight gave him the intel. "Your brothers will come back. I can assure you of that," The king finished his sentence. His eyes dilated into a familiar red glow with three black tomoes - The Sharingan. "That is, because, we... are the Enlightened Ones." Stardustblade358 806 Posted October 23, 2016 (I feel ya. My programming classes are draining the life out of me personally)"Did you remember to pack everything? Did you remember to take some water with you? Also don't forget I made you some snacks in case you get hungry on your way there." A mother and father's words echoed as Arashi slipped on her shoes, her bag strapped across her chest and back, her weapon strapped on her back. She was ready for her first mission outside the village. Well, any first dangeous mission outside a very sheltered life. Something her parents knew much too well, and couldn't help but to worry. "Yup, yup, and yup! Don't worry! I have everything!" Arashi said as she stood up and looked up at her parents and grandmother, who were there to see her off. "You do whatever Kankuro says, and no pulling dangerous stunts without planning, you understand?" Her father reminded her, to which Arashi shrugged it off. "Yeah yeah I'll follow his every word." Arashi assured as she received kisses from both her parents before she headed out the door. "I'll get going. Bye mom, dad! I'll see you when I get back!" Arashi said reassuringly, running down the street to the entrance of the village, still dark as the sun was just moments from rising. Arashi's father rubbed the back of his head. "I think we might have raised her a bit too sheltered...when she gets back we should have the talk about the responsibility about being a shinobi again." He insisted. "She'll be fine." Her grandmother assured, moving away from the door to walk back to her room. "If she doesn't fall, she won't learn to get up. The best teacher out there is experience." She said, her eyes glistening in the same shade as Arashi's. "Besides, I think she will end up impressing us one day.""I'm here!" Arashi said, running over to Kankuro as he stood in front of the entrance. Arashi panted a bit before standing up straight. "Arashi Orokana, reporting for the mission!" She said enthusiastically while trying to catch her breath. Kankuro softly nodded, his arms crossed as he turned. "Ready then? We have a long way to go. Don't expect for me to pause if you get left behind." Kankuro teased. Arashi nodded. "I will be able to keep up, sir." Arashi assured. "Kankuro nodded, beginning to walk away as Arashi followed. The two made their way to their destination, the sun rising over the village as they left.
XxUtopiaxX 49 Posted October 24, 2016 About a couple of hours into traveling, Ren could see the temple in the distance. Trees surrounded this immense, red structure and people could be seen in the distance. Ren looked around the forest scenery. He and Sai never really talked much throughout the trip. Then again, Sai didn't talk much at all. All of a sudden, Sai stopped walking. "We'll break here for lunch here," Sai said. Ren nodded in response and the two sat near some trees and began to eat. They would need their strength just in case they would be ambushed once they've rendezvoused with the rest of the group. Village of the Heavens -------------------------- "King Julius, our enemies are gathering around the "alert line" of the Holy Land," A knight reported to King Julius. The Village among the Heavens has been fighting the Shadow Villagers for quite some time now and despite their small numbers, they have been fighting on equal footing with the Heaven villagers. King Julius placed his hand on his chin to stroke his beard. "Send all A-Ranked Knights and above and flank them from the sides. We'll hold them off with that for now," King Julius replied. Stardustblade358 806 Posted October 25, 2016 Hours of walking had left their feet so painful they felt numb, yet they couldn't stop just yet. They hadn't arrived to it just yet, and even if they arrived, they couldn't stop and would not stop. Though there was one thing that Kankuro wished could have gone numb a few hours ago by now; and that was his ears. Much to his dismay, Arashi was a...very talkative person. Once he had added his input on a topic, or showed any vague interest, Arashi would go on and on about it before changing to another topic and going on about that one onward. Not that he blamed her. He knew lots of people like that, and she was young. But dear goodness...it had been hours. At least her cheery mood had helped with the weather around them, keeping it sunny and clear. By this point he simply nodded and said 'uh huh' momentarily and hoped that Arashi wouldn't notice that part of him had been zoning out of the conversation for the past two hours now. "...and then Nyma blamed me for it!" Arashi said, finishing one of the many stories she was more than willing to share. She could see the temple at the distance, standing out among the green of the forest. "I can see it from here!" She chimed, her eyes gleaming. She paused, turning as she searched around her bag. "I'm going to eat some of the dango my mom made me. Do you want some, mister Kankuro?" Arashi asked. Kankuro didn't hesitate. "Yes. That sounds like a wonderful idea." He spoke, his voice monotone, though if one could read his mind, he could be heard internally screaming that finally, at least a few minutes of silence. That's all he needed. Arashi pulled out two dango, handing one over to Kankuro as they ate silently. "...this is really sweet." Kankuro murmured. "A taste from home on a mission away from it." Arashi said cheerfully as she ate hers. Though in silence, Kankuro remained vigilant. Something seemed...off. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but if something were to happen, he would be ready.
XxUtopiaxX 49 Posted November 3, 2016 Two mysterious ninja, in all black clothes, waited patiently in the bushes ahead of Arashi and Kankuro. "That them Shiro?" One asked. Shiro nodded as the two Sand ninja gradually walked the path towards them. They were on a mission to intercept the reinforcements. "Mahiro. On the count of three, we'll split up. I can sense another group on the other side. Take care of them," Shiro ordered. Mahiro nodded. One The two sand ninja grew closer. Two It seemed as if the girl in the group hadn't noticed their presence. But the other one, seemed on edge. No matter. It's gonna be an easy mission, Shiro thought. Three The mission commenced. Shiro threw a flurry of kunai with paper bomb tags attached from his position to cause a bit of confusion. Mahiro bolted in the other direction to pursue the ninja on the other side. Stardustblade358 806 Posted November 3, 2016 (edited) Kankuro's eyes darted at the sight of the kunai heading straight towards them. He wrapped one arm around Arashi before quickly dashing with her out of the way of the explosives, much to Arashi's surprise. As the kunai landed the explosions went off, smoke and dirt rising into the air in a thick cloud. An ambush. "Should have guessed things were starting to look too easy." Kankuro murmured, spitting away the stick as he had finished the dango before dropping Arashi on the floor. Arashi quickly jumped onto her feet, taking out her own weapon and gripping it tightly as she looked around. "What was that?!" Arashi looked around, landing her eyes on Kankuro as he took out a couple of scrolls. "The enemy." Kankuro spoke simply, rolling the scrolls onto the floor, and just like that, in a puff of smoke, two of his puppets were summoned to his aid. Arashi awed as she looked up at the puppets; Karasu and Kuroari. "Amazing." Arashi hummed. "Arashi." Kanuro spoke, bring Arashi's attention back to reality. "Yes?!" "You are a shinobi, aren't you? Your brother put out a good word for you. Don't disappoint." Arashi's eyes narrowed, nodding lightly. "Yes sir." Arashi turned, her eyes following Kankuro's gaze to the source of the explosions. Somewhere around the trees. "Flush him out will you?" Kankuro asked, and Arashi was more than willing to oblige. She took a deep breath and began to whistle, the wind beginning to change its course as it began to spin around her like a familiar near its master. "Wind Blast Waves!" Arashi called out before sharply whistling into the air, the wind taking shape before beginning to spin its way straight at the trees around them. The wind raged to the trees around them, pushing the leaves off the trees and the trees themselves to the sides with enough power to begin to crack and rip apart branches, their roots barely hanging onto the dirt beneath. If there was someone around them, they would have no choice but to show themselves...otherwise get crushed by the wind and its debris. --- I'm basing the powers after how Yota used it, so please do warn me if you think I get a bit OP https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfvjMieWVwM Edited November 3, 2016 by Stardustblade358
XxUtopiaxX 49 Posted November 12, 2016 Shiro barely managed to dodge the blast waves, as they were unexpected. However, his cover was blown and he was forced out in the open. This wasn't a situation he particularly liked. Shiro shook his head. He'll manage. "So, I see you've got an interesting ability," Shiro said. Her ability to use jutsu without weaving a single handseal would be very detrimental to their cause. But Shiro had a few tricks up his sleve. Shiro's bright red hair blew in the gentle breeze as the trees rustled near the path they faced each other on as he contemplated his next move. He weaved one seal for the body flicker jutsu. Within milliseconds, he was in the air, angled at the southwest side of Kankuro and Arashi. "I need to dispose of you, girl, before you become a nuisance to us!" Shiro shouted. He formed the tiger sign. "Sealing Jutsu: Adamantine Attacking Chains!" Shiro shouted. As gravity slowly pushed Shiro to the ground, five chains exited from his back. Three launched themselves at both Arashi and Kankuro, while the other two stuck itself into the ground to make sure he landed safely. ------------------------ From the distance, loud explosions could be heard, which worried Ren. Ren stood up to see smoke rising from a bit further that the actual meeting point. "Let's go," Sai responded. Ren nodded and the two made way to the meeting place in a hurry. Stardustblade358 806 Posted November 13, 2016 Well you look at that, her first death threat! Her dad would be proud. Arashi looked up at the chains, taking a step back as they came straight at them. She sharply whistled, the wind twirling around her as she jumped into the air, using the manipulation of the wind to impulse her further upwards into the sky to try and avoid the chains fully. She focused on the chains, pointing at them with her naginata before whistling once more. The wind spun around her before shooting down at the chains, twisting into the shape of twisters before slamming themselves against the chains, struggling to overpower them, or at the very least, keep them from going any further. Kankuro moved his puppets, having Sanshouo dash in front of him, becoming a shield between him and the chain. With Sanshouo as a shield, he dashed towards Shiro, moving Karasu in front of him before sending him dashing straight at Shiro, seeing a small opening. "Don't underestimate us." Kankuro murmured, Karasu opening its mouth and sending a wave of poison coated sendon at Shiro.
XxUtopiaxX 49 Posted November 13, 2016 They're very well skilled, Shiro noted. As the two sand ninja made their counterattack, Shiro reacted quickly with his defense. He quickly retracted one of his chains that was targeted at Arashi to block the incoming senbons. He powered an orb of blue chakra in his right hand and dug it into the ground beneath him, creating a simple smokescreen. "Looks like I'll have to separate them and defeat each one by one," Shiro said. His sensory was nearly second to none, unlike his opponents, he had assumed. He quietly waited patiently for the target ninja to make their move. ---------- Sai and Ren could be found fighting a tough battle against the enemy kunoichi. They tried to subdue the girl, but it was as if she knew all of their moves seconds before they even did it. "Sai," Ren called to him, panting a little. "Yeah, I know," Sai said as he gazed into her glowing, red eyes. The Sharingan. "Don't look into her eyes. They haven't trained you for this at the village," Sai shouted. Ren nodded. What exactly were these eyes? They were a mystery to him. Nevertheless, she was an enemy that stood in his way. "This might be a chance for me to try THAT out," Ren said, weaving a tiger seal. Combining chakra natures for the first time was a bit difficult for Ren to do. The texture of this new nature took some getting used to. The air around him grew colder. He was combining the elements of Wind and Water. "Ren what are you doing in the middle of a battle?!" Sai shouted. "You're open boy!" The enemy kunoichi shouted and rushed towards Ren. "Super Beast Scroll: Tiger Vision Staring Bullet!" Sai shouted. Four ink-drawn tigers shot out of Sai's scroll to intercept the kunoichi, which made her fall back a little. This chaos broke Ren's concentration as he tried to get a hold onto what was going on. Maybe this wasn't the time to try something new. Instead, he quickly weave other handseals and took a deep breath. "Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!" Ren thought, releasing an immense gust of wind from his mouth. It was more than enough to blow the kunoichi back.
Stardustblade358 806 Posted November 13, 2016 The thick smoke covered the area, leaving both of them blind to where the enemy, or each other, were currently located. Arashi landed on the ground, quickly turning around to look around her. "(Damn.)" Arashi thought. If she whistled to call upon the wind again, the enemy would locate her among the smokescreen. She held her weapon close to her, thinking of what would be the next step, anxiously looking over her shoulder over and over again. "(Come on Arashi. Think of something up.)" Arashi thought as she pursed her lips. She would have to rely on her senses...yet it was all so eerily quiet. "(Wait, that's it.)" Arashi thought, an idea popping in her head with a small smirk. She closed her eyes, softly getting her hands tightly around her naginata, the blade pointing downward, and concentrated. Before long, it began to rain. Kankuro had his puppets around him, ready to attack from any direction. He soon felt the rain, looking up. There were no clouds. It just rained. "(Arashi, what are you doing?)" Kankuro thought, gripping his fists tightly. However his eyes narrowed as he looked down at his feet, seeing a small puddle building up beneath his feet. "(...oh!)" Arashi opened her eyes, looking down as the rain began to make puddles on the ground. "(Now I can hear you walking.)" Arashi thought with a smirk, kneeling down softly as she picked up a rock. "(Or you think you can hear me.)" If things went how she was planning, she would be able to locate the enemy. She aimed and threw the rock, landing on a puddle with a loud splash.
