My bad, slipped my mind to post last week (am trying to do a weekly kind of deal). Also as a note, there won't be a post this next week either because I'm out of town. Sorry, but know I have not forgotten you! But, like I said, a slow moving game this will be lol

So I kind of feel bad to keep posting for Irena without you. Were you still interested in the RP? If so I'll sit tight for a bit in posting. :)

I have returned, so if you haven't posted, you won't need to wait for much longer. The slow-down due to Yuffie has presented a perfect opportunity for me. :)

(Also, apologies to everyone for not leaving notice as to my departure prior, I was unable to do so. :()

Wonder what would happen If Henry lent some of his darkness to Anthony. Would it have any effect? xD

Not sure...the universe would end? xD

Sounds fantastic!  I haven't posted yet, so I will await your response instead.  Perhaps Irena's efforts in fighting this god haven't been in vain after all. :D

Character Sheet:

Name: The Penitent One

Age: unknown

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Appearance (don't sweat it if you can't find an image of gray skinned people, just use a regular image and say they have gray skin): Penance.jpg

Abilities (this includes magic, godly powers, or assorted abnormal skills): Teleportation, regeneration, energy claws, stealth (not actually invisibility, but hard to notice), and skin made of hardened crystals. Highly skilled in personal combat, stealth, and acrobatics.

Weapons (Greys use only a single weapon, make note of whether this is the weapon they've had since the ritual or not): Razor sharp claws

Personality: Blank slate.

Bio: The creature known as the Penitent One has been around for thousands of years. Her origin is not fully known by mortals, though several mythological stories claim to tell her story. They all say that it was a case of hubris, but some say it was because of claims of beauty beyond the gods while others say she fought against them. What ever her "crime", she was turned into a servant of the gods. Controlled by the Rod of Penance, she was used as an assassin and guardian for hundreds years, until two feuding gods lost it, causing the Penitent One to disappear. Some say the Rod fell to the mortal realm, which begs the question: If a mortal received the Rod of Penance, could they control the Penitent One?

Miscellaneous: The Rod of Penance;

The Penitent One cannot physically interact with the Rod.

Has a secondary directive to protect the Rod.

Anyone interested in a personal assassin?

We could easily save the Treasury with someone like that, and use it for more mischief in the future. The only problem would be how to find the rod xD

In the vault perhaps? Seems valuable enough to put in there. Up to riku wherever he'd like to put it but that was my instinct.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. And with all that ruckus and destruction the rod could be in one of the vaults.

Hmmmm...

So you're saying whomever possesses the rod is the one whom The Pertinent One listens to?

Another option is if we have a certain commoner theif or maybe a certain fat King possess the rod.

That could work. It be in the vault is possible. Would the Rod have been sealed away or kept for defenses purposes?

Correct. She has to obey the commands of who ever gets the rod, which could lead to some flip flopping loyalties.

I think it would be like a forgotten relic left by one of the elves since a long time ago. I think some elves would have enough artifacts that sometimes they forget about older ones that are in the Treasury. The Rod could be one of such artifacts. Perhaps no one is aware of the true purpose of the rod.

Yes, benevolent gods are okay, but I will reiterate what I said before, I'd prefer there to be less of that and more of the other races. Regardless, do as you wish I'll likely accept wholeheartedly whatever you put up.

As for the Rod being locked up, it would be for security reasons. Elves are a generally peaceful folk, and when it landed in the hands of elves centuries ago, the King at the time put it away for its destructive and chaotic abilities, seeing little reason as to why he should keep it around for wartime or assassinations or whatever. He eliminated it from the bank and royal records soon after.

Ahh, awesome. And I get it. Speaking of the other races, I still have a few ideas in my head regarding a character for one of the races. One of my more prominent ones I have in mind is like a Hunter, his design similar to that of Hanzo (Pictured in my Avatar and Sig) from Overwatch, but with his Okami Skin, which is heavily Wolf-Themed, so a Wolf-Like Hunter Man with a Bow and Arrow. He's stuck out to me the most, so he may be my character after the God.

As for the God, you'll see what he's like when his sheet is posted.

I agree with this explanation for the rod.
