RikuFangirl2008 1,368 Posted September 19, 2016 King Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Chip, and Dale. And their Gummi Ship.... Are they legit or just another illusion conjured out of the Book of Prophecies? Are they the King Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Chip, and Dale that we know and Sora knows? I just want to know.
WakingDawn96 1,166 Posted September 19, 2016 Every Disney character and character yet to be are illusions from the book. This is proven by the fact that the worlds we visit are actually just in Daybreak Town. This means that the book works in Daybreak Town, and so anything from the future can appear in that world because of the book.
Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted September 19, 2016 They're illusions made by the book, although it's not as obvious because they appear within Daybreak Town itself rather than in another illusion world. Notice how they never once mention Sora or any event that relates to him in that moment. And while we haven't reached that point yet, there will be a second time they appear and some scenes somewhat mirror their first meeting with Sora in KH1, giving more proof to the idea that they are illusions based on the future. So far the only Disney character we have witnessed (from KHX anyway) that isn't an illusion of the book is Maleficent during the epilogue, she even directly mentions Sora and the others. Everyone else still appears to be an illusion of the book.
LightKeyDarkBlade 72 Posted September 19, 2016 Yup, they're conjured from the future by the Book of Prophecies. But there seemed to be an interaction of Master Invi and Mickey. We don't know anything about their conversation yet but it might be related to what Master Ava said to Invi in the latest trailer. So there's an importance there even though they're conjured. I just want to know. i think the same. just to be safe. though it's true that the book of prophecies is still responsible for the disney worlds the fact that mickey and friends arrived in daybreak town is still bugging me. especially mickey since he said "So it wasn't the Star Shard that led me here. Hmm...What exactly is going on?" sounds that he's aware enough with the situation. and i'm not sure if anyone notice this but there's slight differences between global ver. script and JP script. in global ver. the king said "what is going on?" looking on rooftop and then there's a glimpse of certain figure. (he sounds oblivious) while in JP the king said "who/what are you actually?". (sounds that he actually talking to this certain figure and at least get the gist of what actually happened). for now i just shrug it off since donald, goofy arrived with gummi ship and according to wiki, gummi blocks were developed around ansem the king's time. So I guess that means: They have done the exact same thing Maleficent has done? And they (especially Mickey) are probably trying to find Maleficent? Everyone else still appears to be an illusion of the book. I guess so guys. It's just their interactions in some parts of their travels to Daybreak Town seems pretty odd to me VS how the other Disney Characters interact in their illusory worlds. Every Disney character and character yet to be are illusions from the book. This is proven by the fact that the worlds we visit are actually just in Daybreak Town. I know every Disney Character are nothing but illusions as well as their worlds. It's just King Mickey and their friends interactions in Daybreak Town seems odd to me. I know it seems that way, but Mickey and gang are special characters in the series, but in X they are just like the rest of the Disney characters, because Mickey and gang weren't born until after X and so them showing up has to be the book, because they weren't around back then otherwise. tsumigami 47 Posted September 19, 2016 So I guess that means: They have done the exact same thing Maleficent has done? And they (especially Mickey) are probably trying to find Maleficent? perhaps judging from order of event, i don't think they're after maleficent. they're back to their own world with gummi ship afterall. i think there's a reason behind mickey appearance in DB town and this certain figure he met. like kenneth choo's statement, this might be related with what invi secretly doing. I know it seems that way, but Mickey and gang are special characters in the series, but in X they are just like the rest of the Disney characters, because Mickey and gang weren't born until after X and so them showing up has to be the book, because they weren't around back then otherwise. yeah it should be still related with the book. if book of prophecies can harness power from future and manifested it into medals (or cards),it's possible that mickey and gangs aren't mere illusions. 1 RikuFangirl2008 reacted to this
