My Thoughts On 0.2 DLC

So we have all seen or heard of the DLC tab on the jap KH0.2 website and some people are thinking that additional malts or story for the game will be added.

 

Although seeing 0.2 being such a short game already I highly doubt Square will make additional story at a cost seeing they intended the game to be a short Prolouge.

 

The two options I think they have for DLC and would be additional dream eaters. Think about it when we pre ordered KH3D we got an AR code. With new dream eaters announced for KH 0.2 I reckon in one of the bundles that will be announced in the future there will be a code to unlock dream eaters which you would have to download as DLC due to no AR scanning.

 

Over all this seems like the most logical explanation for any type of DLC in the game

 

Off topic: I reckon to tie 0.2 in to KH3, at the end Aqua will send her keyblade to Sora and it will show the first KH3 footage we got of Sora picking it up although this time in the new graphics

New dream eaters?? Huh. i guess that's pretty neat! It's cool they're adding at least 1 new feature to DDD so that it's not as "disappointing" for IGN..

 

Also, i really like your thought about the ending and instantly setting it up for what we saw in that fateful teaser!

It's plausible. For a game like this, it's the only possibility that makes sense given our current knowledge of the game.

Ah but remember, Nomura said that 0.2 is only has part of what was intended, that's why it's 0.2 BbS -AFP- and not 0.5 BbS -V2-

I'm pretty sure Nomura said that that scene of Sora picking up the Master's Keeper wasn't supposed to be a literal scene that happened (but then again he may have said something similar about the "raining Soras" back when 3D was still a teaser trailer that most of us could only read about, so who knows?). It really felt more metaphorical or symbolic than an event that would actually happen. But maybe they might mirror that scene in a different way somewhere in the game, I mean it wouldn't be too hard to simply have Sora pick up his own Keyblade in a similar manner in some random scene like after a boss battle or something. I'm just saying that there's a difference between trailer-feed and actual story material.

Wait, so are you suggesting that there is a chance that more COULD be added to the story? Or just that he unfortunately had to leave out more than he wanted and we just have to deal with it? Cause if it became something episodic, I wouldn't mind, considering how long the wait for KH3 is starting to look now, but then again I kind of doubt we'd get that much.

Well technically it's "The First Chapter", but same thing I guess. And huh. Well, I guess we'll see in the next few months, I wouldn't mind some actual DLC, but if they don't add anything before or around 1.5+2.5's release, then I doubt they will add anything after.

 

But come on, wouldn't that mean that Kairi or someone else would have noticed it in that whole time? Just doesn't sound right to me. It feels more like an homage than anything else, but who knows at this point.

I also do believe that we will recieve a DLC of 0.2. A DLC of just new dream eaters does seem a little useless.
