Will the delay effect the winter KH3 news?

I think we were supposed to play 2.8 before the KH3 news, but now that 2.8 is delayed do you think that the KH3 news (possibly a trailer) will have spoilers for 2.8? Or do you think that they delayed that as well.

I don't think so. I am pretty sure they won't delay KH3 news. The news will most likely be a new trailer with new Disney world announcement. Spoiling 2.8 through KH3 news would be a really bad move from them.

I doubt they'll cancel the KH3 news this December. We've had multiple KH3 trailers with no spoiler for 2.8 and I expect no difference from this event. It might have spoilers for DDD, but it's nothing new.

Jump Festa is in December, which means that we"ll probably get two trailers, one for 2.8 and one for 3...or they may just announce a new world for KH3

Well to be fair they didn't say that the news would come in December just in Winter and January is still technically winter, but Jump Festa would make the most scenes to show off whatever news they have

Probably not. but what absolutely scares me to death is the fact that we only get one Kingdom Hearts game a year usually and the fact 2.8 is coming out in 2017 now just terrifies me if we have to wait till 2018 I'm going to lose my marbles I'll have to freeze myself at this point.

i don't see why 2.8's delay would impact SE's ability to talk about one of their games.

It worries me that it will affect KH3 release date rather. I don´t see how it could affect the display of information at all but I don´t know about KH3 release... This is all wrong.

The only thing affected by this is the release date. I was hoping for kh3 in 2017, but i don't see that happening anymore unless we get two games in one year.

Um...what are you talking about? Nomura has been keeping the yearly KH streak. This year we got Unchained X [Chi] and early next year we get Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8. Which would mean that KH3 will most likely come out in 2018. So I'd say he is still doing what he said.

That streak was kind of broken in 2015.

i feel like they'd be able to make a trailer that gives audiences the general idea of the story without spoiling anything major. then again, SE made a 9 minute trailer for DDD that spoiled quite a lot, including the fact that Sora would fall to darkness, so who knows?

 

the information they have may not even come in the form of a trailer. could just be them talking about features of the game or a new world or something.

I really hope that we receive our KHIII news sometime before the end of the year!  Because true, January of next year still counts as Winter, so we could get news then, but I'm hoping that we get some KHIII news in December, ya know?  I'm hoping this will be the case!
